The best restaurants serving British food in Wembury and Brixton South Hams South West

Really lovely little cafe on the top of the cliff. Had seen reviews and thought would stop by for a takeaway lunch to go and work remotely. Turned up and place was busy understandably - so sat outside and the views were so lovely I stayed and worked whilst eating a beautiful sandwich and fries. Wonderfully presented even to takeaway, salad coleslaw, crisps and lovely hot fresh fries. Definitely would go again.

Went here tonight as two couples lovely setting and atmosphere welcoming when we arrived couldn’t fault the service from the manager and the whole team fantastic, and good food ! Definitely recommend

3 battered jumbo sausages, 1 large chips Got it home, to discover the batter was soggy,greasy No crunch to the batter, sausage was anemic,needed cooking bit more, tasted disgusting. Large chips were a joke, most were raw. If I was nearer,would have taken them . Will give this place a miss

Nice bacon, sausage, and egg bap. Can sit inside or out. A nice beachside cafe.

It appears that they do not pay their contractors. Be very, very careful if they buy any goods or services from you on credit. They still haven't paid up. Be very aware.

Very busy with around 200 lunch diners seated. Staff were very well organised, motivated and definitely earning their wage. Canteen style order and pay on your way in with meals delivered to your table. Speedy service with roast diners delivered to the table with in 10 minutes. Great quality food, well presented and tasty. 10 out of 10 for the staff. Lovely family owned business with great shopping and garden centre.

A really lovely and homely pub with an attached beautiful restaurant. We visited the bar side today for a sit down Sunday dinner with our little doggy. Dogs are welcomed in the bar section but not in the restaurant. Mrs had the Pork Belly whilst I gorged on the Trio of Meat roasts and they both were absolutely spot on, I honestly can't remember having a better roast. Usually the roasties or gravy is a bit off in other places but here it was simply the best. Drinks we had were lemonade and a pepsi max, both had just the right mix of syrup to soda water and arrived at the perfect temperature too. 4 stars for atmosphere as it was a bit cramped in the bar section but I do appreciate this can't be helped. We will definitely come back soon to try other bits on the menu.
