The best restaurants serving British food in North Somerset South West

Comfortable, cosy restaurant with nice choice of seating. Lovely warm welcome from James. Great selection of drinks at the bar and lots of choices on the menu. The whole team were so friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed my meal. Stayed for 1 night, really comfy and nice shower. Again, lots of choices at breakfast. Highly recommend and if coming by train it's an easy flat walk. Nice countryside with birds singing. Loved my stay. Thank you all. See you soon.

I wrote a Review 3 months ago after our Walking Group visit was a great success at this lovely Pub. We had pre arranged to park all our cars at 10am and have lunch about 1:30pm which was a very friendly gesture by the Proprietors. Twelve of us had an excellent lunch which varied from soup and a sandwich to my second go at Cow Pie. ( This is delicious ) The service was ultra efficient at a large table in a warm area, the young staff were great. We will definitely return, and weather permitting will sit outside and enjoy the magnificent view over the lake.

We popped in here for a hot drink and some breakfast on a very cold and windy morning- the seating area had a warm welcoming fire and sea views, which was great. The service was awesome, my flat white coffee was lush and our breakfast baps were yummy. All very reasonably priced, and happy with the veggie options. We would definitely come back if we return to Weston Super Mare :)

We arrived in the morning Senior citizen's trip. We were member of conservative club locally. My husband and I went there about early lunch, pressed to request could we enter no problem, we could have signed visitors book.The person there then very polite. Late before going back to our collection point we decided to return. we done this same thing but this time a man answered . Asked we were members explained on a visit and where from and we did not have docs on us but before we could say could we sign as visitors the conversation went not member's cannot be allowed in and put the intercom down. HOW RUDE. Would I return no and would I recommend no not if that person can not use some manners .

My local bakers, so called in to get a pasty and some cakes. Service was appalling. Kept working at the oven and setting out goods without a word of 'sorry to keep you waiting' or. better still, showing a bit of customer service by stopping and serving me. Service when it came was unsmiling, and the pasty was lukewarm at best, though to give it its due, it was tasty (chicken). Most of the stuff it sells is fine - I like their cakes and pastries - it's just the service that lets it down. (This wasn't just this time. Being the local bakers my daughter and I have used it several times in the recent past and the experience has always been the same or similar).

Solo vengo aquí, ya que no estaba lleno de gente y lugar tranquilo para que pueda revisar mis correos electrónicos. Desafortunadamente, estaba muy decepcionado con los huevos revueltos hechos de huevos en polvo en microondas. Joven camarero dijo que solo usan huevos en polvo. También había unas moscas diminutas por toda mi comida. El servicio fue muy bueno, la gente que trabaja aquí es muy educado y servicial. Sobre mi pregunta acerca de las moscas me han respondido: “estas moscas están en todas partes, nada podemos hacer ya que vienen de los sistemas de aire acondicionado del aeropuerto”. Quiero agradecer al gerente de cabina por dar un 20% de descuento en mi factura total. Es muy amable.

Left over chips from the day before, recooked . Served by adolescent dirty looking staff. Staff were cleaning a dismantled hotplate in the middle of the cafe , while guests were eating. Dirty dated looking place . Surprised we never had food poisoning. AVOID this Disgusting place .

The food is terrible, a LARGE kebab, £9 salad in a tiny container, aswell as the sauce I ordered on the kebab, burnt burger bun, MELTED stylophone and raw chicken! This is no kebab shop never use again just an overall horrible experience ! Definitely do not recommend! Awful!

We had a brilliant night here to celebrate my birthday! We booked a table for 20 with no problem at all, we were in a lovely area so we could have a giggle and not annoy anyone else! The food, we’d pre ordered all came out really lovely and hot and the staff were brilliant. The Lapinski brothers were playing there that night but it varies each weekend. I Would highly recommended for a fun evening! During the day it has a lovely casual, dog friendly cafe vibe.
