The best restaurants serving British food in North Oxford South East

Really disappointing experience. I can't take the time or money back. It's a scam. They have a pretty fire place but really and truly this isn't worth it.

Excellent food and great service by Alex. He deserves recognition for his personal caring wait service. Rib eye was cooked perfectly. Alex even hailed us a cab! Thanks Alex!!

Did not clear 4th setting on 3 person table. Slow service. Food very good. Servers not trained to restaurant standards though nice people. Food best element.

Such an enjoyable lunch, enhanced by excellent service and the most delightful food... of course the superb wine selection available as a glass, large glass, carafe and bottle helped. Fantastic experience which I would recommend to anyone looking for something done differently and extremely well.

Fine pub. Fair value. Nice atmosphere.

One of the best if not the best pubs in Oxford. The landlord is a legend and is always up for regaling customers with tales from over 40 years and the Rose and Crown.

Everything is good and a nice typical English environment, the only thing is the waiting times are a little long.

Enjoyed a perfect supper out at the elegant yet relaxed bistro Browns. Johnathan our waiter was so gentle efficient and polite which added to our pleasure. What a lovely atmosphere!
