A wonderful place to eat; such a pleasure to visit and find a place that was so welcoming and being able such enjoy top quality food. Nothing was too much trouble; we had delicious sandwiches freshly prepared from local ingredients. Coffee that was fully flavoured, but refreshingly not bitter. All the cakes were definitely home made; tasting well and looking gorgeous. The cafe was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our first visit, but definitely not the last.

My brother and I stopped here for lunch . We both ordered the omelette and fries . We were very impressed. The staff were nice and yes there is a friendly dog who follows everyone around. It is quite family orientated and it appears by the photos around they have sadly lost someone close. We ate in the garden as it was a nice day. B Overall , yes a bit hickledepicklede. But we loved it. Probably not for you if you don’t like dogs .

Excellent seafood platter, very fresh. Nice watching all the goings on in the harbour while you eat, both wildlife, swans, ducks and seagulls, and the harbourmaster ferring people to their boats. Very busy, need to book. Friendly service ; seafood platter, with baguette (for two), prawn salad, ( with good portion of prawns in a mary rose sauce), two medium glasses of wine, and a soft drink, £128.

Stood at the bar and totally ignored by the bar staff. Waited over 15 mins and not acknowledged once. Made to feel very uncomfortable so left and spent our money elsewhere. We own a holiday home on the IOW and will not return to this unfriendly pub

Great coffee and lovely lady running the place. Good bacon sandwich and egg sandwich - really fresh in a perfect setting.
