A variety of breakfast combinations served until midday. A well organised establishment, which if you like English type full breakfasts, served piping hot, is the place to go. An immaculately clean cafe with with excellent toilets . Highly recommended.

Took my son for lunch who has milk allergy and advised them when ordering. When the food came out they handed me the sandwich I had ordered for him and once he had ate a good 1/4 of the sandwich they then brought out another the same and said that this was the milk free one !!!! I had ordered a completely different sandwich for me but they insisted I had ordered the same as my son. Having got my son to empty his mouth and keep drinking he thankfully was ok but it could of been a lot worse. They eventually brought out my correct sandwich. No real apology as they insisted I was in the wrong. This episode ruined the day for all of us. Another customer in the restaurant came over to us also to advise she had just discovered the advertised vegan brownie was not milk free and to stay well clear. Needless to say will not be returning and would not recommend.

Visited the cafe and had some lovely lattes and toffee cake. The location is brilliant and there are great views from the windows. They are currently creating a larger cafe area and hope the current room is also updated as there was some tatty wall painting where they had painted over the skirting boards and not done above the radiators, it must have been like this for some time and this let it down, not the new works.

Stopped off mid afternoon for something to eat. Home cooked quiche was really nice and staff also really nice. Lovely views out to sea. Only thing on our visit it was undergoing some building work/alterations. Surely Winter would have been a better time to do it, not July but otherwise enjoyable visit and Dog friendly which is why we stopped there.

Stopped by for 'Coffee and Cake' and despite all the Covid crap that's going on, we had a very pleasant time.Okay there wasn't a full Menu but the outside seating was adequate, the service excellent and the fayre both tasty and good value. Great little cafe attached to the Pearl factory. Friendly prompt service from Anthony. The food was cooked really well and consistent across several dishes, from the fish, calamari to scampi- just right, perfect consistency . Chef Megan deserves a shout out. Meal rounded off with homemade cakes, Victoria sponge and lemon cake, neither disappointed. Highly recommended but go on an empty stomach.

Superb food, we went three times over 14 days: once for a cream tea, once a cup of tea, and again for a fully loaded cooked breakfast, delicious bacon, and two eggs mushrooms and full plate. Anthony was managing the café and his team were so kind, extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, very considerate of my 93 year old mother-in-law in a wheelchair.. We sat outside and enjoyed the extraordinary view of the sea, and later went inside to have a cup of tea. Anthony made sure that the team were clear, running a tight ship, all standards being high, especially the chef and the attention of the serving staff. Thank you all. Next time we are on the Island we will be back.

We called into the cafe whilst visiting IoW Pearl and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. They obviously have a great approach to their work, as all the staff were really helpful and friendly. We just had a tuna mayo baguette and a bowl of tomato and basil soup, but the portions were generous and very tasty. The food that we saw being delivered to other tables also looked nice.Definitely worth popping in and having a break looking out across the sea.

Whilst walking the coastal path we stopped at the Isle of Wight Pearl for lunch. Food was very good as were the views (and weather). Perfect place to stop. Social distancing very good and the outside tables were scrupulously cleaned after each customer. However, whilst queuing we were subject to a long wait just because the server was holding an indepth conversation with the current customers. Not about food, but about jewellery - showing off her earrings, necklace etc. Despite the people in the queue behind us trying to interrupt them, we had to wait a good 15 minutes for the server to deliver just two drinks. The people behind us eventually walked off in disgust. By the time we were served, the queue snaked right back into the Pearl Centre and another member of staff was trying to push everyone closer together. Quite inappropriate.

We visited the Isle of Wight Pearl Café on a mid-week afternoon in September for a cream tea. We have been here before for the same purpose but our most recent visit was made in the post Covid 19 lockdown period and this review will consider our experience of this. The café is associated with the sizable ‘Pearl outlet centre but is available to visitors who like us are looking for a nice place to stop for refreshments. The Café is located on the Military Road and has ample (free) parking for visitors. We entered the building where there was a hand sanitiser available and then passing through the commercial section arrived at the very spacious and welcoming interior of the café. Again hand sanitiser was provided and the tables had been well spaced to enable social distancing, a one way system was also marked on the floor. The café also has a good number of tables in an expansive outside grassed area and we chose one of these as it was a sunny day and not too windy. Food and drink is ordered at the counter in the café and paid for at the same time. As an alternative to a conventional cream tea we chose the ‘savoury’ type which had choice of plain or cheese scone served with cream cheese in lieu of clotted cream and chutney in lieu of jam which made a pleasant change and was delicious.Tremendous views can be witnessed in the outside area along to Freshwater in the island and further on what looked to be Poole Harbour. A short walk along the cliff edge gives a good insight into the coastal erosion affecting the south coats on the island with previous landslips easy to spot.Whilst we were here we noticed tables becoming vacant and being cleared by staff and also cleaned prior to the next customers taking up their seats. Another of our favourite venues on the island and despite the current conditions still as enjoyable.

Walked along cliff top from Compton to IoW Pearl cafe, lovely bracing walk in the winter sunshine, very windy. Had started my diet today so sensibly chose the chicken & bacon salad which was really good, freshly made, warm chicken, lovely dressing, just right. Noticed they did have Sunday roast on the menu, which looked really good. I usually choose the bacon & Brie with cranberry baguette & chips which is really good and would recommend. But needs must!

Had been dreaming of cakes all day and due to the successful marketing & advertising campaign of IoW Pearl (through the free tourist maps), decided to have some at their cafe. Was quite surprised when we got there as the slightly tired looking & basic cafe was quite the opposite impression of that given by the promotional map! The view as promised on the map was quite average and had to be enjoyed through not very clean windows. Ordered a couple of cakes and drinks which were OK. Cakes were a tad dry though I must say the flavour combination of the strawberry & coconut cake was really good! Service was very friendly & staff were helpful. I wouldn't make a special effort to stop by the cafe but it makes sense to have a break there if visiting the Pearl Centre. There was a cool display of different Christmas trees put together by various organisations & charities which brightened up the place. The Pearl Centre itself had an interesting collection of pearl jewellery but again was in need of some TLC as evidenced by sections of carpeting which were taped over.

Friendly staff, great food options - extensive sandwich menu as well as more filling hot options, especially great if you’re a cheese fan! We had a croque monsieur, the quiche, a bacon baguette (all which came with chips and salad), Welsh rarebit, two of the kids’ meals (the fish goujons were especially good, freshly cooked and “proper” fish) and a savoury scone with cream cheese and chutney. All fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Better still, the view from the main dining area is magnificent - also tables outside, and in another conservatory area, so plenty of seating. The views of the Needles and coastline were stunning from the restaurant. The food was excellent, well served by attentive staff. Looking at the daily menu board, there was a very extensive range from breakfasts to lunches. For the ladies the pearls on show for purchase showed a wide range with the chance to watch jewel specialists at work. Well worth a visit.

The cappuccino cake is best gluten free cake I've ever had. They also made a sandwich which wasn't on the menu. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and the service were both excellent. Next time I'm having their home made GF scones.

I called in here for a coffee withmy daughter and her boyfriend. It was most disappointing. The cafe is to be fair, pleasant. The views are spectacular. But on a hot day, we had hoped to sit outside, but the outdoor seating is very limited, so we had to settle on sitting inside.

Had two pieces of cake and a pot of tea for two - came to £7 didn’t think this was too bad in comparison with other places.

Nach dem Besuch des Isle of Wight Pearl Centers kann man im angrenzenden Café in aller Ruhe einen Cream Tea zu sich nehmen oder zu Mittag essen.

This place is famous for its views across the Solent, but only in the summer. In the winter the windows are always steamed up giving you near to no visibility outside. We didn’t eat but the menu looks good and average prices for the area. Drinks were more expensive than the Seaview Hotel just around the corner. +£1 per drink on gin & tonic. It was November on a Friday evening and all tables were reserved. We did sit at one of their best tables for our drink ‘Captain Ted’s Table’ and it was wobbly as hell. Felt like it was going to give way at any time. Come on this is an easy fix.

Nice busy cafe, lots going on with a lot of choice to make your own baguette. Popular with the locals for lunch who fancy an upgrade from a morrisons meal deal.

We have been here many times over the years and looked forward to our visit again this year. What a disappointment. We had a cream tea which consisted of a pot of tea, 2 scones, butter, cream and jam. The jam and cream pots were half the size they used to be and the butter was barely there, adequate enough for one scone but certainly not two. The jug of milk supplied did not have enough milk for one cup of tea and we had to ask for extra. I do not drink tea and asked for my tea to be substituted with coffee, big mistake, it was undrinkable. Went we went to pay we were told 'cash only' and I was lucky to find some cash in the bottom of my bag. This should be made clear when you enter and before you order as a lot of people do not carry cash. Our experience was so different to every other visit we wondered if there were 'new owners' but overheard the owner telling other visitors that she had been there 17 years. Sadly will not be returning.

Remember coming to this pub with my family when I was ten so had to come back 40 odd years later. Disappointed the coffin by the door was gone 😂 but it was a real highlight of our trip. Our dogs were welcomed and fussed over and the food at lunch was amazing, so tasty. Really friendly staff and all the facilities were spotless. Fantastic views over the garden too. A lovely trip down memory lane
