The best restaurants serving British food in Town Gosport South East

One of the friendliest cafe restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to frequent. The food is consistently cooked well & served with a smile. My wife & I go at least once per month to eat breakfast & have done so for the last three years. I would highly recommend this eatery to anyone.

Perfectly cooked breakfast every time, good value, quick & friendly service. Stop in every time we come to Gosport. Gem.

Never had a problem until yesterday. Tried to order a kids jacket potato as my wife has a small appetite to be told it's only for children under 10 years., despite a sign saying they support dietary restrictions! No where does it state that on the menus, and we have always purchased for our sons even though they are older than 10. Not only did they miss out on the order, but they also lost a customer as we will not be returning to Poppins again.

Usually wait for your fish and chips to be freshly cooked but WELL WORTH THE WAIT. The frequent queries are a good indicator of it's popularity and quality. Very highly recommended

Always enjoy the food and atmosphere in here, food is good and price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This pub is right by the Portsmouth ferry in Gosport, nipped in for a midweek roast, was really nice. Generous portions fresh vegetables cooked just right, didn’t have to wait long. Highly recommend.

Staff that have worked hard yet under pressure... just to make money for a owner that doesn't care. Very sad
