The best restaurants serving British food in Sarisbury Fareham South East

The meals we all had were excellent. The landlady was friendly, and was very helpful to one of our party who has health issues and can only eat small meals. I highly recommend The Elm Tree Swanwick

Slightly off the beaten track but well worth the detour, you need a car really to get there but good free parking onsite. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Friday night so we got a nice table in a window alcove. The meal is varied and our food was very good. I would recommend

What an amazing evening from the welcoming greeting as we arrived to the server Chloe who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was outstanding! Above all the food was a culinary delight, we were a family of 6 who all had starters mains and desserts all of which were presented impeccably and tasted amazing… we each couldn’t help but try each others! Highly recommended a warm and cosy atmosphere even our puppy was made to feel at home. We will definitely return now harpers is one of our favourite spots to go.

Very pleasant meal and polite and willing staff. Our orders came as requested, and we also enjoyed desserts. I thought the bill somewhat more than expected, but was unable to check drinks and food against a menu. Later that day, I checked on line, and realised we had been charged for something we did not order. I have been unable to get through on the phone. Thus we ended up paying and tipping for more than we had. Lesson learned ,no matter how busy, always challenge the bill if you are unsure.

I had a fantastic gluten free pizza here, there was a good variety of gluten free foods. We stayed at the lodge next door and also had breakfast there. We only paid for the continental which wasn’t great or worth the money.

The atmosphere was great and good selection of drinks. Service was slow. But it was busy so can be understandable but the food took 1.45 to come. And the quality was inconsistent across 6 people. The pork which was 30£ was cold for some and tough for others. Chicken bites were great though. And the fish and chips were hot and miss. With some good and other not. It could be good. Would try again. But not the best first visit.
