The best restaurants serving British food in Stone Dartford South East

i ordered a hot chocolate and when it arrived it was given too me in a dirty cup. when we took it back and said the cup was dirty, the chef replied “it’s clean it’s clean” without even looking at the cup, when there was a visible mayonnaise stain on the tip of the cup and then proceeded to complain because they had too make a new one. when ordering our food the waiter took no notice into what we was saying and we had too repeat multiple times. when the food arrived it was not nice. the baguette came with half an egg and one piece of bacon. the scrambled egg had no taste and was very watery. while the chef was cooking the food him and the waiter was eating food then mid cooking they went outside too smoke while having the door wide open resulting too cigarette smoke being blown into the cafe. since the previous chef this place has gone downhill completely and the food has become disgusting. the rudeness of the waiter and the chef was just shocking. the food and service has gotten bad. such a shame since it was a nice place before.

Can we just take a moment to thank the amazing Peter for his service tonight. The night was just superb and his attitude and dedication made all the difference. From the moment he came to the table he smiled and showed us great warmth. He kept checking on us and nothing was too much trouble for him. We really didn’t want to leave and even offered to do the washing up to stay talking to him some more. Peter if you see this (management please show him) deeply Thank You.. Great service friendly chatty staff. Brought out a birthday plate for my niece which was a nice touch.

We had the bottomless pancakes, service was very quick so you can get a good run for money, Out server was Hayley who gave us great customer service and wanted to be here which i think is always important. Very cheerful and made out experience better.

Kirsty was really friendly and professional. She asked us if we had put our reg in, and if we had booked our table- and made us feel welcome throughout.

Perfectly functional venue selling reasonable snacks (not the cheapest) but traffic seem efficient and organised. Clean and serviceable.
