The best restaurants serving British food in Preston Park Brighton and Hove South East

Nos detuvimos un domingo mientras pasábamos. No estábamos planeando comer, pero el menú parecía increíble y el olor de la cocina era una locura. Teníamos una variedad de platos y todos estábamos sorprendidos por la calidad. 4 muchachos muy felices, volveremos.

Small and cosy, this is a great cafe with a real feel of a local place, catering to the community. They offer simple, fresh food with good-sized portions. My full breakfast was plentiful. They are dog friendly,too. Dexter received a plate of biscuits and a bowl of fresh water just for him . A truly local cafe, where everybody is welcome.

Great local, lovely staff and theost incredible tasting BBQ food you have ever eaten. So worth a visit - tip order the day ahead to guarantee you get what you want, they do cook it for a LONG time 😁

A lovely little pub with fantastic friendly staff. A little bit on the expensive side but that's nothing new in Brighton. Food is lovely but a bit expensive. Haven't noticed the menu changing much. Overall would go again for a nice chilled drink.

Booked a table for a roast on the Sunday. Table was filthy and not properly clean. Tbf was super busy. Table service. Had to wait ages for our drinks to arrive. Then again ages to order the food. When we did we found out they had run out of the beef. Cauliflower and cheese, pigs and blankets. The portion size was pathetic. Hardly anything really. The broccoli was tough. The one tiny carrot was alright. Chicken was dry but the two potatoes were ok. Maybe it's just the roasts that aren't any good. Cause people were ordering pizzas and they looked the better option. I've been here before and had the nachos which are good. False advertising for a crap roast though.

Beautiful cafe but you guys, or the park itself, heed to seriously sort out the loo situation. Not having toilet seats is just not on!! Nice cafe though 😍

Aquí trabaja un hombre arrogante que parece pensar que te está haciendo un favor permitiéndote comprar comida. Te ignora en el mostrador, te mira sutilmente, no te habla. Hoy lo ha hecho con demasiada frecuencia. Vi que estaba en el mostrador esperando para ordenar, solo me miró fijamente. Le dije hola, simplemente me ignoró y fue e hizo otra cosa. Ya es suficiente, me fui sin comprar nada. No es el lugar más barato, parte de la comida es muy agradable, pero otras cosas no son brillantes. Otros miembros del personal agradable, pero no voy a volver.

Espantoso servicio y espantoso servicio al cliente. Todo lo que están haciendo es recalentar la comida que parece ser demasiado para ellos. No vayas si esperas que te atiendan oportunamente con una sonrisa.
