Thus is the most incredible food!!.the passion that goes into this food along with the service and quality of produce used is just amazing. This really is my favourite food in Brighton

The nicest food I’ve had in a while the ribs were 😍😍 and the brisket was tender and went perfectly with the burnt butter mash , looking forward to visiting again soon to try the rest 🤣,the staff were really lovely too , thank you !

A 50th birthday meal for my partner, the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, extremely busy and great fun bustling atmosphere, thoroughly enjoyable evening all at amazing prices , highly recommend the brisket and burnt ends . The price of my pint actually went up when I was there which is a first and the staff were horrendously rude. I only went in to commemorate the loss of a good friend who used to be regular there and was one of the friendliest people on the planet ironically.

Working up the road at travelodge for a week on cover and was actually heading to find a different pub that I was recommended but thought I got lost and found this pub instead. A cozy snug pub serving a decent pint of Sussex best ale. Perfect. Other patrons having food that looks lush. I am going to make this my go to pub for the week. Excellent choice of drinks to suit every taste, clean toilets, nice outside seating area, friendly patrons and awesome bar staff who made me feel welcome as an outsider to the pub and area. Also like to point out it's not full of noisy students and has a nice chill vibe, perfect for a few quiet drinks after work. Would recommend.

Amazing pub with lovley food we try to book a room but as was to short notice we weren't able.. the evening was amazing owners very welcoming and had the chance to meet the little baby and the dog that made our evening complete. I’m always looking out for new places to eat in Brighton and had been following the pub on Instagram for a while. We finally ate there last night for our son’s birthday and the food really is as good as it looks in the photos. We had the beef brisket, ribs, quesadillas with pulled pork, and the moving mountains veggie hot dog. All the food was amazing. We’ll be back! Such a friendly place, very welcoming.

Wow! This is a terrific little pub. You'll know instantly if you give it a try - the food is really top notch and the staff are great. We also stayed in the B&B accommodation which is really tastefully done and very comfortable. Just remember to bring a hairdryer! A lovely place and highly recommended.

Fantastic smokehouse food at great prices, with lovely owners and staff. Shared chicken wings, pulled pork quesadilla and a huge "Dino" beef rib - served with sauces and criss cross fries. It was superb, will most certaily be back for more..

This is just an unreal place for food and drinks. This is another review as the smokehouse style food is just insane. What I really love with the food here is the passion and dedication taken to ensure it is fabulous, but on top of this is the quality of the produce used!!

You don’t get many pubs like this anymore. Welcoming friendly chatty staff. Well kept cask ales, a good good selection of beers on tap, wines and spirits. Function room available for hire if you want to.. A well rounded local pub that welcomes anyone
