Sammy, Andy & Team - thank you for a special evening. Having lived in the village for 20 years it was fantastic to witness good times returning to the Black Horse. In your short time looking after the pub you have managed to breathe life back into the heart of the community. Had a very enjoyable lunch last Sunday. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was well cooked and seasoned. Yorkshire puddings were really excellent. Venue has large parking space and level pathways to interior. [If you have mobility issues use the left hand side carpark at the end of the drive] In all excellent value.

Good variety on menu. Food was good and really enjoyed it. Competitive prices Would recommend and visit again

Stopped for lunch after a very long walk. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was great. Fish and chips were perfect. My hubby had a burger which he said was very tasty and home made and my friend had the risotto which she enjoyed too. All at a very reasonsable price. 100 per cent recommend.

An amazing place ! Stop over before our crossing into Europe . We planned an early arrival but the M25 didn’t allow it to happen. Great warm atmosphere when walking into the bar to check in . Lovely host couldn’t do enough. Rooms spotless, food faultless. Credit to the owners . Wish we had a pub in our village that was so welcoming and upbeat. Five stars guys 👍

We had a very nice Sunday lunch/dinner here with very friendly staff including Carolyn who was our waitress for the meal and Sam and Mark in the kitchen who cooked a wonderful and fairly priced meal. They also had doggy treats and were very welcoming to our dog which was great. Thanks!
