The best restaurants serving British food in South East

Bajé a caminar y terminamos parando aquí para una bebida y un chocolate caliente para nuestra hija . . servicio fue increíble, ya que fuimos recibidos por Ashley, él era extremadamente servicial mientras tratábamos de trabajar en el servicio de aplicaciones . . muy buen chico lo recomiendo aquí sin duda volveremos.

Cold day, door propped open. Was told to take a seat so assumed table service. After sitting for a while, I asked if I should order at the bar. Specifically asked if it was butter or margarine on the jacket potato as I have allergies to margarine. Was told both and was shown the butter which I appreciated. Specifically asked for no salad as again because of allergies. Also ordered child’s sausage and chips. After 25 minutes the kids food arrived. Sausage was burnt (was told this is how you cook Cumberland sausage). Chips were completely dry and cold. Took this back to the serving hatch. Chef apologised. Jacket potato arrived with a lump of margarine on the plate and salad. At that point I left. I can honestly say this is the worst place I have ever been served at. It’s not cheap either. Jacket 8.00 plus £2 per extra topping.

¡VILE! ¡EVITA! Pedí tres porciones de papas fritas para llevar aquí, se sirvieron asquerosas papas fritas sucias aceitosas empapadas. No eran patatas fritas, estaba fuera de una bolsa de horno. ¡Dios sabe cuándo se cambió el aceite por última vez! Los chips estaban cubiertos de motas negras. Pedí un poco de ketchup, y mientras miraba sobre el escritorio pude ver lo sucias que estaban las freidoras. Huelga decir que las fichas se fueron al contenedor. Mi hijo amigo se comió uno e inmediatamente lo escupió. Estará reportando a los estándares de la agencia alimentaria. Por favor, no malgastes tu dinero. Desearía haber revisado las reseñas de antemano. Necesita apagarse

We were a big group with kids. Pre ordered our food but it still took forever to come out, and then was pretty awful all round. Staff were friendly but had no clue what was going on. Very disappointing

This was a Iocal institution that served the community for decades and was the best COME 2024 with new owners who don't have any clue how to run a chip shop With a good deal of the menu removed. Also the local delivery service has gone as well.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Every time I have paid for extra portion the owner was ignoring my request and was giving me such small portions and when I’ve complained they have stopped delivering to me because they had to refund me £1.20 for the extra beans and they weren’t happy about this. They were cancelling my orders every time I’ve tried to order and only couple months later I’ve decided to order from them again and they’ve started delivering to me again and when I’ve asked the driver about what’s changed he told me it was because I’ve complained about the beans and it made them angry but the reason they delivering it now is because they’ve lost too much money in the business. I was a regular customer and was ordering from them every weekend. He said if I have any issues or complaints to ring the restaurant directly. When I’ve rang the restaurant and spoke to the owner about my missing food she was so rude and wouldn’t let me speak!! She said it’s because they’re making cut backs so I’ve assumed that was the reason I was missing the food I’ve paid for. I had to put the phone down on her in the end because the way she spoke to me was disgusting!! Won’t be ordering from them ever again.

Would come for a coffee at least 3 times a week, amazing staff and fantastic coffee but i came in on Tuesday 14th may and seems they have employed a new staff member..... she was sat on the floor behind the counter on her phone when i arrived as I could see her thru the cake display and i wasn't even acknowledged when i was waiting at the till, another guy served me who was lovely and make my drink, For most of my visit she was just stood around on her phone and being loud and I could hear her on the other side of the shop, Was gonna pop in on Thursday 23rd may but seen her smoking out the front of the store just sat in her uniform which put me off coming in so I went to another coffee shop instead, won’t be returning for a while.

I purchased a to good to go bag from them but they were advertising the wrong address so I couldn’t collect. I contacted them several times about a refund but were totally uninterested about me getting a refund and kept referring me back to to good to go.

Always stop by for lunch when I'm working in the area! Most definitely not your average food van, top notch food and quick service. You have to try the burgers!
