The Northwestern in Milton Keynes

Visited after swimming session and found the prices silly for what you get. The profit margin for them placing a tea bag in hot water (not boiling water) must be very high. Avoid as you can get similar for cheaper nearby.

Really slow service in the restaurant. Ordered my food and it took 40 minutes more than everyone else when we ordered at the same time

Would have been better going to McDonalds...... we went to the cafe here at 12:30 on a Friday and it didn't look busy. Waitress who took out order advised there was a 30 minute wait on food which would have been fine however, after an hour we were still waiting. When the food finally appeared it was clear that some of it wasn't fresh, peas were hard, beans congealed and toasties were hard. Food didn't all come out at the same time and there was no apology from the staff. Shame because the actual garden centre is lovely but next time we will either go to Frosts or elsewhere.

Good choice to start a Fri night, normally have a band on from 9pm, busy but always space & somewhere to stand
