The best restaurants serving British food in Wyre North West

If you come from Fleetwood, you probably already know about this little gem of an eatery on Fleetwood Freeport/Affinity. We visited today and as always, the food was first class, freshly prepared and with very friendly staff. The menu is extensive, and there is something there for everyone. I am a fussy madam lol and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much. Just as an aside, it is not uncommon to have to queue to go in, but the queue is dealt with quickly and you very rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes or so. A queue is always a good sign of somewhere to eat❤️

My partner and I called in for lunch mid week . Angela the waitress was both attentive and polite . My partner had chips and bread and I opted for cottage pie which was delish . To follow I had lemon meringue pie . We had decaf tea also All very tasty We shall return

One of the cutest little coffee shops, right by the promenade. Very little room inside, but plenty of seating outdoors. Chocolate brownies are a definite speciality, fudge too. We stopped off for coffee and cake, trying two brownies plus a bakewell blondie. A real treat was the square of fudge they give you free with your hot drink. Expecting it to be quite expensive, I was relieved to be told that they accept card payments, I was also pleasantly surprised by the final bill. Will definitely return…very soon. Open daily Wed-Sun. Called in, today, am a courier from Manchester, the hot plates looked very tempting, jacket potatoes looked the biggest, and best I've ever seen. Guy in front was having the special, mince and onions, mash, dumpling ,peas,carrots and gravy, looked amazing!. I ordered the same, for my tea tonight, in a takeaway tray, just had it, superb, was really nice. I then ordered a piece of what looked home made steak pie, in lovely golden pastry, for my lunch, there and then, with gorgeous gravy, again, excellent!! Will definitely be calling here again, when in the area, lovely food, and staff, thankbyou, so hard to get decent food, when on the move, would give this place, easily, 10/10, well done girls 👍🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

Excellent friendly reasonable prices spotlessly clean and warm what more do you want. Can't praise highly enough and would recommend to everyone. We wish Mcdevitts all the good fortune they deserve

Lovely freshly prepared food great sandwiches and a good selection of daily specials owners are great always friendly and smiling which is great to see

It was our 1st visit here and will definitely be coming back It's a lovely countryside pub/restaurant.. the staff was so friendly and welcoming .. my partner was happy you serve peroni We didn't have starters but had the fish and chips and I had the steak pudding both absolutely delicious.. for dessert my partner had rhubarb crumble I had the Malteser cheesecake again so delicious.. the bill was very reasonable too .. see you again soon Patten arms

Great food, excellent staff who looked happy to be there and couldn’t help enough. Our group had a selection of meat and fish dishes, all of which were delicious. The service was efficient and friendly at all times, I would definitely recommend.

Can get some busy that you wait a long time. The cakes are highly recommended. The rest.. not as much so

What an extensive menu and a huge range of books - you can even get a cream tea! Fab place.

I have visited Cafe Mila several times both with family and friends. Always excellent food with friendly caring staff. Definitely the best place to eat for breakfast and lunch and always such a nice experience relaxing and chatting with great food in such a lovely clean friendly cafe.

Last minute visit from friends & family prompted an takeaway - Brockholes one of only a few that deliver to us. We all had the ‘chicken in a basket’ - very generous portions, all really well cooked & seasoned. Gravy is absolutely amazing! Delivery arrived spot on time & was still very hot. Everyone loved the food, well done The Brockholes!

The Sunday roast dinner is amazing, loads of beef, real home made gravy, fantastic roast potatoes. All at a reasonable price. It's a small place with few frills, but it's cheap and the staff are friendly and efficient.
