Loved The Trafalgar. Food was good. Excellent menu chalked up on the blackboard. The staff were absolutely great. Not the cheapest but food this good costs a little more.

Love Trafalgar Restaurant. Always visit if in the area. Popped in for a delicious 3 course Sunday lunch. Highly recommend if you love good food. Best restaurant in the area.

Stunning food, top notch every time!

Evening meal dining in, 3 courses, maincourse for partner, fish & chips, only complaint too many chips. My main course, two Dover sole with veg;&pots. Both courses served HOT with great presentation. Staff both courteous and helpful. All reasonably priced. Will always return.

Nice menu choices. The sirloin steak ordered was very fatty, approx a quarter of it was inedible. Staff told, and a lame apology given and full price charged. Potatoes were very unusual and wet, like dauphinoise without cream. Maybe the fish would have been a better choice

Booked for Valentines Evening as we are on holiday in the area and have enjoyed Sunday lunch there before. Ohmygoodness - absolutely fantastic. I'd picked out a fish dish that I fancied and we commented that my partner had had lamb in previous years but it wasn't on the menu. The lady apologised and he made his choice. Imagine our shock when ten minutes later she reappeared saying he could have lamb after all - and believe me, it was amazing, as was my fish dish. Vegetables were plentiful and we shared a cheesecake dessert. Definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait til we revisit again hopefully next year.

This is not the first review that I have given to this establishment, we went on Burns Night, delighted to see Haggis on the menu. I had the pan fried squid with mushrooms ( I like garlic, but garlic doesn’t like me). A couple of pieces of squid had caught, and left me with a charcoal taste in my mouth, soon rinsed away with John Smith bitter. On to the haggis, very smooth mash, and neeps, haggis itself was a let down, very bland. Sticky Toffee Pudding, a great improvement, but with cream ( for me not really ) toffee sauce doesn’t go with cream, custard yes. Wish I could give half points, not really a 4 point meal but more than a 3

Simply amazing the whole meal was excellent. We have eaten here before and will certainly be returning. All 3 fish dishes were cooked to perfection we all had starters and desserts which were excellent too . The service was friendly and obvious they care about customers. I have eaten a few times in Rick Stein’s restaurants however this is far more superior

Three of us went for a birthday meal and we were not disappointed. The menu is on the wall showing all the fish and non fish dishes available that day. The king prawn starter was lovely.. the main courses, one Mackerel, one Brill, and a Monkfish were all cooked to perfection. I must say, the monkfish was one of the best dishes I have had for a long time. We even had room for deserts, pavlova, which was melt in your mouth, and a banana split, which went down very well. The service is spot on, and the front of house ream are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Who needs Rick Stein when we have our own fabulous fish restaurant on our doorstep. Highly recommended.

I always opt for the wardroom if I can , as it resembles a private dining room . The food here is ace . I had beef stroganoff which was fine and my son grandson had the mussels to start and rhe linguine to follow which he wolfed down with great alacrity ! ❤️ The front of house ladies are always impeccably dressed and polite ! I love coming here and it was super special because I don’t get to break bread with my son very often due to the fact that he has pressure from other sources which make it a rare occasion when we meet ! A very special evening ! Thank you trafalgar 😘

Our first time visit and it wont be the last - very good. Food was excellent and service was attentive and friendly. One little blemish is that served me normal bread with a gluten free dish.

Lovley old fashioned place not much to look at but when you eat the food it's very tasty and the fish was lovley waitresses and bar staff where lovley thank you felt very comfortable eating in there

Very disappointed. We have visited the restaurant on several occasions and it seems to have gone down hill. My fish was terribly overcooked whilst my husbands was cold . The mains were served immediately after the starter no rest in between as though the meals had been prepared earlier . We felt they just wanted us out as soon as possible . We will Not be returning and as we left we heard them complaining about the tip we left saying it wasn’t enough!!! I personally would not have left a tip but others in my party did as the young girls working there were lovely shame the same couldn’t be said for the lady behind the bar. In future I will give my hard earned money to a restaurant that deserves it

This was a very good experience my partner and I went to celebrate my birthday, it appears to be a very popular restaurant with a lot of local people as well as visitors. To start I enjoyed the goats chees tart very moreish, for my main had the Brill which I have had before, delicate very good. My partner enjoyed the leek and potato soup and for his main he chose the Dover Sole both mains came with a selection of vegetables. If you are visiting Fleetwood this restaurant is a must.

Excellent food and service can't recommend the place enough

My Hubby loves fish but I am not over keen, however we both had fishcake with parsley sauce for starter it was delicious. He chose monkfish with bacon and I had haddock with a cheese crumb both had veg and potatoes. They were both delicious. I chose sticky toffee pud and he had chocolate tart. Best meal we have had out for ages and will definately be back soon.

Really enjoyed our wedding Anniversary. Trip to Fleetwood was made complete after watching Cambridge United away. Really good quality food. Service was excellent. Highly recommended 👍🎉🍾

Iv been in the Trafalgar a number of times ,I always rated it one of the best restaurants I’d been in ,not this time I went in with my 2 sons aged 17 and 11 , was not given menus ,had to look on a board on the wall ,which I thought was a specials board initially ,was very disappointed ,ordered steak ,I’d been singing the praises of the steak here ,It was ok but the vegetables for 2 came in a white small dish ,there was peas carrots and broccoli ,I did not expect frozen vegetables in here ,there was not enough for one ,I did not complain or say anything at the time I’d just had a bereavement ,and indeed relatives of the owners of the restaurant had stayed in my caravan ,Iv kept thinking about this ever since ,it was a place I thought was good there was 2 large parties in at the time ,I put it down to that ,I paid and have never been back

Good and service excellent. Loads of choice on the Board, especially if you like seafood but lots of other things too, steaks etc. Bit pricey considering location not great overlooking tram tracks and rows of terraced houses, but inside lovely if a bit old fashioned but has a charm.

Visited here for a boys night out. The food was excellent. I can't usually manage 3 courses but I did here. Had the delicious fish soup then lemon sole followed by sticky pudding..... Fabulous, with great service and a nice bottle of wine made for a excellent evening! 😋👏

Well established fish restaurant. Serve all kind of freshly cooked meals with the specialty of fish, with varied specials board of fresh fish and shell fish delicacies. Weekend roast dinner is amazing and comes served with potatoes, variety of veggies and amazing gravy. Service is with a smile and very professional. Bar on site with the usual choices of beer, wine and soft drinks. Relaxed atmosphere, great place to eat with friends and family. There is not a better restaurant in Fleetwood!

We go to the Trafalgar for my birthday each year. The food is gorgeous. Seafood at its best fresh, fresh. fresh. The staff are lovely, and you feel they genuinely want you to have a fab experience. We love it, and if you like ships, then it's a bonus.

I had the famous fish soup to start, the colour looked good and it smelt great. The taste, however wasn't good, it came with two over cooked muscles at the bottom, with a bit of crumbled fish and a few croutons. My main was linguine with prawns and chilli. This was a greasy mess that was completely overcooked. The pasta was soft the prawns were dry and chewy and I think they only threatened the dish with a chilli. It was very expensive for not a great standard. I hope they improve.

We eat here every month or so.Fantastic piping hot food with bags of flavour.Dishes will be tweaked to your liking if you don't like Chilli etc.Staff as always clean and really pleasant.Excellent selection of food.If I had to complain it would be the height of the step on entry.Recommended 100%.

Our party of eight enjoyed the evening. The food was good as was the entertainment. Prices were possibly a tad on the above average side for the type of venue but what always kills it is the price charged for soft drinks. Portion sizes were variable; the plate of fish and chips was enormous, my halibut was an acceptable normal portion and sufficient but the two plates of stroganoff were small which the chef needs to address.

We had two Sunday lunches which were presented well and very tasty.... Only criticisms are why restaurants these days think we need to drink the carrot and swede through a straw....like baby food.... Also need to learn how to cook yorkshire puds....very flacid and nearly burnt... Service fantastic prices very reasonable..

We had dinner last night and have to say it was amazing. Great staff great food and lovely ambience. The manager was lovely and the staff loved their work. All in all a fantastic evening for me and my fiancé. I don’t usually do starter main dessert but how could I resist. 6 stars if google went that high.

Been visiting the Trafalgar for quite a few years now with friends & family and don't know why I haven't left a review until now? Very friendly and welcoming with a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. All staff are very pleasant and polite, (Even Russ lol!!!) with great service. Food is cooked and served to perfection and if your a seafood fan then this is the place to eat and would defiantly recommend giving the Trafalgar a try Top marks guys

First visit today,certainly won't be the last. My sister and I had been looking for a Sunday lunch place,and were fed up with pubs and places where the insta look of the food was more important than its flavour. We have found our place,we both had the roast lamb dinner,which was lovely,hot and tasty,beautifully presented without being pretentious, and a good serving without being overfacing,all at a very reasonable price. We then treated ourselves to the plum and apple crumble with custard,which was also excellent. The staff were,without exception, friendly, helpful and efficient,tables were cleared,cleaned and relaid immediately they were vacated,nothing was too much trouble,without them being in your face. Altogether a brilliant experience, and one I'll be treating my family to when next they visit,and my sister and I will be coming again,just because we can!

I was made welcome on a busy Saturday when I had no reservation. They went in search of a wine I wanted thaey did not think they had left (they found the last bottle!) The choice on the menu was stunning. I could literally have said pick a random starter and random mains for me, and I would have been happy. The food was perfect when it arrived! RECOMMENDED!

Although I had been recommended The Trafalgar as a very good restaurant I was still surprised at how good it is. An excellent evening meal for two at a very reasonable price. Definitely book a week or two before your intended visit, it is very popular.
