We all really enjoyed tasty burgers and good coffee.Lovely views of the river Lune and scenic walks.Definitely recommend.

Love this pub they were extremely busy today but food and service was great. Young lady serving on was very polite and kept checking people were OK waiting because they were so busy. She did s fabulous job even though she was on her own. Would definitely recommend

Lovely family tea, enjoyed by all. Very clean, tidy and well presented. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Very dog friendly. Nice choice of dishes on menu. Food was tasty and fairly priced.

Had the privilege of staying in this beautiful village overnight with the idea of climbing whernside. The pub itself is quaint with rustic Yorkshire Charm, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. The hotel room was beautifully laid out with a stunning view of the scenery and complimentary toiletries. Book room number 5 for the very spacious ensuite. The fittings although dated fitted perfectly with the location and the breakfast was beautiful with a very attentive member of staff! My recommendations would be forget civilisation, enjoy spending time with loved ones and savour every second in such a beautiful little village! Can't wait for my next stay and hopefully manage to climb whernside!
