The best restaurants serving British food in Fulwell Sunderland North East

Delicious thick chips cooked to perfection, accompanied by fish bites to die for. Lovely takeaway on the seafront for a nice walk along the beach. Will definitely be back, couldn’t recommend it any more!

Had a fantastic afternoon tea for my birthday! Lovely atmosphere and welcoming service they made my day so special and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend!! Cant thank the staff enough, definitely going to come back again and try to the main menu it looks great

Unfortunately every single table had been used and the staff are very slack and miserable looking straight out of the windows, management should be diligent and make sure the tables are wiped down for hygiene reasons. On this occasion I am very disappointed with the service. Although the fish and chips are over priced they are tasty. Based on this venue I could not recommend at all simply because they can't keep the place clean and tidy. This is a Saturday 12pm so would be extremely busy with the lovely weather also.

Very good taste and very worth prices

Monday night tea out with friends, food was fine, served hot and not long to wait at all. Janice our waitress went out of her way to make us welcome and told us about offers, which was really helpful. She is a credit to the company, customer service was amazing. The barman was equally as pleasant..well done the Grange. We ll be back.

Great food, big portions, and super nice staff! We had a large group and while it took a little longer to get our food, everything was really good.

Don’t waste your Money Had visited before and the food was good. This time it was terrible. Flabby chicken wings, casoulet was awful, the “wild mushroom tagliatelle “ was just disgusting. Heavy cream sauce, no taste, forgot the Parmesan crisp, just not worth the money. When asked how the food was, we expressed our disappointment + no response, no one cared that it was awful it was almost as if they expected it to be as terrible as it was.
