Amazing food and lovely staff, had the rib and rump and the steak was cooked to perfection, the ribs were so tender and got the hunters fries upgrade

So we ordered 6 blackcurrents and was served orange …. So we were double charged to reorder drinks !!!! Cordial and water and wouldn’t chnage with no charge them argued it costs us …. Sorry but we are regular here and in no means exspected anything for nothing .

Absolutely amazing food, lovely staff, Demi and Jan were really helpful. Had the loaded surf and turf and it did not disappoint, steak was perfectly cooked.

Thought I’d give the grange a try and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Chinese style pork belly skillet which was absolutely mouthwatering the only complaint was there wasn’t more on the plate. Floor staff are very helpful and made my visit even more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning

Popped in for drinks with a couple of friends, staff really friendly and a good atmosphere. Did not try the food but the orders coming out to other tables looked delicious - we are definately going to go back for food and drinks.

Food was delicious and did not have to wait too long. Drinks were good - decent beer and soft drinks served with ice & lemon. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Had lunch today with my husband and daughter,my daughter said her burger was nice but the chips were awful,very dry and hard,my husband had sausage and mash,the sausage was two burnt sticks and powdered mash,I had scampi which was OK but again the chips were terrible,we hadn't been to the Grange for year's and it will be year's before we go back.We waited ages for our meal and some people walked out due to waiting too long.

Ordered my meal with 2 sauces the original meal I ordered they had ran out , so picked an alternative when my meal came out only one sauce I informed the waitress we ordered 2 she told me the girl behind bar must of only pressed one and if I wanted another I would have to go to the bar wait in a queue considering my meal was on the table the queue quite long and only one girl serving , I pointed out I was not prepared to wait in the queue she came back with a paper pot all I can describe is a watery vinegar solution which we left , I’ve had this meal many times and explained to the waitress it’s not what I ordered she said I’ll go and get the jar to prove it , The waitress was very rude and very argumentative myself and family will give this place a wide birth in future

Awesome food at the grange. With the current pandemic crisis they have made sure everyones safety is paramount and the service is excellent. Love the new order at table app. Demi, Simon, Paddy , Courtney, Chris and Danny all worked well as a team and had different stations. we went with friends on Thursday 19th December with friends. the pub wasn't too busy at all. we ordered the food at the bar, when the food came it didn't look appetising at all. The chips quite clearly were not fresh. we were all extremely disappointed. the pub looked tired and shabby to be honest we wouldn't go back at all. this pub used to be a very busy pub most of the time.

My friend and I of a certain age had the golden years menu. Two courses for 4.99 absolutely value for money. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and professional and the gentleman who brought the meals was great too. I could not recommend the Grange enough and will certainly visit again.

There is a good selection of vegan food and staff are lovely and welcoming. Very cosy atmosphere and my favourite happy place. I also love the refillable cups of tea at breakfast ❤

Been here a few times for early dinner food very good, staff friendly and efficient only one snag lately they have changed the method of ordering you need their app so I'm afraid if you don't have a smart phone you could come unstuck but usually you'll find the management tolerant of us older folk and will find a way rather than loose your custom.

Where do I start?! Firstly, I think my hair might have grown an inch whilst waiting to be served, whilst it was busy, this is common phenomenon here. They laughingly have an area that they refer to as “The Sports Bar” which is for over 18 only,. I’m not sure you could refer to a bar with a pool table and a TV as a sports bar. The toilets are simply something else! The smell is overwhelming, no paper or locks on the doors. This place serves food, I’d hate to think what the kitchen is like! It’s a travesty really, it’s a great space in a good location, yet whomever runs this seems to lack the basics of a food good establishment. I certainly won’t be going back.

This is a good sized establishment, and easy to find on a main road, with a reasonablle car park. There is a wide range of food on a good menu, which is served in good tme.

As we were in the area we noticed that we had a Sizzler pub within a mile so decided to give them a visit.To be honest from the outside The Grange does not look up to much but inside it is very clean and tidy but could do with the toilets being refurbished.For our meals we had the 14 oz Gammon&double; egg and chips for about £8.50,the food arrived in about 20 minutes and was very tasty,if in the area we will be back.

My family and I have been here a few times - the Messy Mexican Chicken is unbelievable. It comes on a sizzling hot skillet and there is so much of it. Haven't had a bad meal yet and staff are lovely. Excellent value for money and different seating areas to suit all tastes.

Went to the grange on 04/01/19 for a breakfast with family we all ordered a sizzling breakfast which was lovely no nobody had any complaints and tea coffee are refillable which was good only bad thing is we had to wait outside till it opened at 10am which when serving breakfast u think would open earlier and not very warm inside either

Meals were very disappointing and nothing like described on menu, we had to send one of our back. Bar staff need lessons in customet service, had no clue as to who was next for service and served anyone who had just approached bar regardless of the queue behind. Will avoid this place for a long time as there is plenty of other places for locals in the area.

Food was half warm half incredibly hot.

My husband and I visited on a date night to our favourite place for pub food and they didn’t disappoint. Wonderful menu, excellent food and brilliant service. If you haven’t tried here yet what are you waiting for, classic homeley pub feel, friendly welcome and delicious fair priced food wether it’s a small plate fish and chips or a mega mixed grill you’ll go home satisfied.

The food & drinks are excellent value, hence the regular visits as a local resident. However, as always, the same "rotund" staff member could not have been more unpleasant with the usual forced interaction when we ordered our large gin & tonics. Admittedly I apologised and hastily requested a small amount of ice as she started preparing our drinks (she had poured gin in one of them) but there was to be no further conversation as she served us our drinks with one cube of ice each, the remaining drink left to one side. We love it here but this member of staff has some serious customer service issues. Well done though to lovely Shelly who coped alone marvellously with a large queue of customers.

The Grange is a large pub and seems to be popular for eaters at the budget end of dining. When it gets busy you could end up waiting to be served because some times staff are struggling to cope. The staff are great apart from the girl called kate who seems to drift around without engaging anyone . She serves customers in a robotic style never smiling and processing the order like border control and should know better as she IS a MANAGER . The bad language in the sports bar is diabolical so I always drink in another room

We come here a lot, it is near activities we go to and it’s easy to park. The staff are really kind. The good is consistently good, it’s a chain but that shouldn’t put you off. Baby changing room could be fresher but apart from that - can’t fault it.

Enjoy meeting up for a drink with friends. Friendly staff and busy venue. Reasonably priced meals and very popular early doors for family eating.

I come here a lot and enjoy the food very much but the reason for the low rating is the woman behind the bar is always miserable like never cracks a smile & always literally goes at snailpace. Also like it always seems understaffed like theirs always a huge que at the bar and only 1 person working. I will be back because I enjoy the food but just need faster service & with a smile !

We have been to the Grange as our new local and its a real Gem. . Staff are always polite and friendly and the meals are reasonable price and look great. The sports bar is children free and the alrge screen TVs and lounge area is a delight to use. The staff are all polite and prices are good value. Give it a try.

The menu selection, is quite big, which could and did cause problems when trying to decide. We had a little wait, but the food was very nice when arrived, some of the portion sizes were either a bit on the small side, or completely filled the plate. One gripe, the Pepsi tasted not as usual.
