Pizzas were all mashed up with toppings sliding off into the corner and juices dripping from all boxes kebab was spot on just think the drivers need to calm down a bit when delivering and there wouldn’t be an issue

Ordered x2 chicken boti kebabs when arrived they weren’t that hot there was also a nan bread missing when I called the shop they weren’t really interested told me nothing they could do about it as the shop was closing soon, which is not my problem this order cost me just over £33 and I expect to get everything that’s included with the kebabs person I spoke to then said he’d speak with the manager to which when he returned said they would give me an extra one on the next order, which is pointless but anyway, I asked to speak to the manager to be then told they were not available which is funny when the person just I was speaking with just spoke to the manager, customer service was disgusting! I normally order from grill & chill quite often but after this service received and the price you pay I won’t be ordering again I’m disgusted!!

My first visit, it is very clean, the waitress was lovely.our food was fab, chicken cooked to perfection, nice hot pitta bread, hot tasty chips and the freshest crunchy, salad. The man who brought our food was very pleasant. We will be back.

Great food, good value for money

The Chicken boti kebabs are top drawer. Not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Awful service, missing items with confusing and questionable pricing structure. Very disappointing from start to finish, certainly will not return, over all poor opinion of establishment. Shame because the food that did arrive was OK.

Was ordering once a week from here usually getting the grilled meat kebab. After the food I got today I will not be going back. The beef burger was very suspiciously like a cheap microwave burger you know when the bun is hard is some places and an undeniable smell. £10 wasted had one bite and in the bin. The lamb kebab meat was disgusting something wrong with it, old or left out but in the bin £14 wasted. I cannot recommend eating from here if they think it's ok the charge top price for such terrible food. What happened?

See bad reviews below but I’ve personally had various delivery’s over last few months food always arrived piping hot in under 60 minutes and standard of food was excellent fresh salad tender meat etc 10/10 from me

First time I've ordered from here and the food was absolutely delicious. I got the half chicken, cheese burger and a plain burger. Delivery was on time and food piping hot. Found my new regular as didn't have one complaint

The staff are lovely, the food is tasty, the service is quick. A firm fave for after school tea

Just been in for a Chicken Boti Wrap with my son, it was the best chicken wrap I've ever had. The gentleman serving was really friendly too. Will be back again soon

Got a chicken boti last week normally always order from here and when I bit into the chicken it wasn’t cooked it was jelly Put me right off! They asked if I wanted another which I I didn’t I just wanted them to take it away to check over the chicken Nothing offered like refund etc Friend has been today and found hair in her food :/this place used to be nice but it seems that they are rushing everything maybe to many deliveries but the quality of food is terrible

Ist visit to Grill N Chill but definitely will go again. Had cheese 🍔 and it was delish. Fries were crispy and red hot, and garlic sauce was delightful.

Just ordered from here . Very disappointed pizza under cooked dough soggy.. had to crisp up in oven .. also had on bbq sauce which I didn't order. However chicken cooked lovely .. won't order again sorry 😐

Food was really nice. Only called in as friend had a meeting in the school nearby and it was convenient. Was expecting the quality to be like an average takeaway but it far surpassed my expectations. Staff were also so lovely - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

Lamb boti is amazing . Tandoori pizza is amazing . Chilli and garlic are amazing . Staff are amazing . Just wish they were open untill later than they are right now. Personally I think the Ashbrooke shop is WAY better than the Seaham shop. Pizzas are WAYYYYY better , and over all the food is a lot better IMO. Defo my go to pizza shop. Just wish they were open later because they really are the best around . Highly recommend

Very poor customer service. Wrong order received tonight, left message without reply. Tried calling them again after allowing them time to get back to us, (as I understand they’re busy on a Friday night). We are unhappy customers as they have now CLOSED for the evening and we are left with some uneaten food and wasted money!!!

Lovely as always. Lamb boti is amazing and so is the tandoori hot pizza. The garlic and chilli are also really nice. Wish they had a deal were you can get a lamb boti and pizza , at the moment you can only get a chicken boti and pizza. They do have some great deals . Staff are always friendly, and food always comes hot and fast. Thank you

Ordered food which came 25mins late...the delivery driver just left it on the doorstep...then eventually knocked on the...we asked why he just dropped and ran his response was corona virus which he wasn't wearing a mask or gloves...food was cold.The driver has no communication skills which may let the takeaway down...shame.Rang up to let them know but they were busy laughing in the background.We and my friends which spend a lot of money won't be giving them any business again...what a shame.

Was here yesterday with my son and two grandsons I had chicken boti which I absolutely love especially the garlic dip .Son had chicken biryani which he said melts in your mouth two grandsons had chicken nuggets and chips which they both ate. The staff are absolutely amazing very friendly. even the delivery driver was entertaining my 2yr old grandson will definitely be back

These guys have got it so right! Sufficient meat, perfectly cooked, salad lovely. Staff at the counter to the chefs and delivery people are just gorgeous!! Thankyou for giving us extra fries as we missed out on an order in July. These people work so hard to get it right and it can only get bigger Thankyou

Would select 0 star if it was possible! The food was late, cold, very over cooked and was like chewing leather! It was exceedingly overpriced, small portions and disappointing! Would not recommend to worst enemy!!

Food was okay, nothing special. Order incorrect however. It's basically stuff you could make in the house. Chips had 0 flavour. Chicken was alright.

We ordered lamb wraps with chips, cheese, garlic and salad and it is one fo the best that I have ever had. Well worth the money!

This was my second experience. First time I ordered the food was so good and I recommended everyone. This time the food quality went from 10 to 1. It seemed I have ordered from another place. While eating the kebabs hair came out. The rice was smelly. The worst part my daughter got severe tummy aches and vomiting. Very disappointed

Yes again, Grill n Chill Ashbrook, delivers amazing food. 25 min delivery time. The Boti Kebab is out of this world and the pizza's are amazing. I highly recommend this place for delivery and the times i have been in the restaurant it is so clean and the staff so nice.

Been shielding at home ordered a take away and the driver would not come into the block of flats!!!!! I had to go and get it 13 floor I live. Yes I do understand COVID I went down gave him my money OW YES COVID TRAVELS ON MONEY THE DRIVER HAD NO GLOVES ON SO ITS ALL OVER THE BOXES HE HANDED ME, I TOOK CHANGE OFF HIM SO THAT ALSO HAD THE POSSIBILITY OF TRANSFERRING COVID AS WELL!!!!!!! So what’s the difference to actually knocking my door???By the time I got my food it was bloody cold cheers Chill & Grill for the wonderful experience 😡

We have been here twice. Once with the kids and once as a couple on our lunch break. The service is outstanding. The shop is spotless and the food is out of this world. Even my autistic son who is very picky loved it and it is now his favourite place. The staff cannot do anymore for you. Would 100% recommend. The mixed grill is amazing.

Absolutely shocking service, missed half my order and what we did receive was just dripping in grease, rang them over 10 times on recall and got no answer at all, my kebab wrap was just a red cabage wrap with next to no meat at all ..complete waste of money

Mixed grill is very average, the Beef is like chewing an old shoe and the chicken had a horrible rubbery texture.

Visited this takeaway tonight, probs the 4th time we have ordered from here. The order was placed over the phone and a time was given for collection. Once we arrived to pick up our x2 Boti kebabs, we had to wait for approx 15 minutes as they weren’t ready and only cooked when we arrived. However, once we got home and opened the boxes, we immediately noticed a smell of dough, the x2 naan breads were basically uncooked. They were practically raw dough. We immediately rang back and informed the girl on the phone of the issue. We were told that x2 naan breads would be delivered straight away and we are still waiting 7 hours later!!!! Basically, the girl on the phone told us a pack of lies and had no intention of sending out our food, this spoilt out meal and we ordered from another takeaway and enjoyed their food immensely. I will never return to this s#%t hole of a takeaway again and hope anyone reading this avoids Chill and Grill at Ashbrooke in the future. The food was pathetic and the lying girl on the phone promised us a replacement within 15-20 mins. Why lie. Why serve raw food. I hope nobody else had an issue with this place, however you have been warned. I recommend a food and hygiene inspection at this takeaway. Thanks for the waste of my money.

My chips wernt hot enough luckily the chicken was cooked there was a big piece of red cabbage in my salad not chopped properly I wont b going again it was a glorified chicken kebab iv tasted much better and the kids chicken nuggets were greasy plus no drink price is too high for a kids meal.

Been here today for lunch with my son I had chicken boti salad and naan there was chunks of chicken breast absolutely delicious son had stir fry and that looked amazing staff are lovely and friendly will definitely go back again

So me and my family have been going to chill and grill for years so when it opened a new restaurant closer To us in ashbrooke we we thought fantastic! Went three times in total, the first and second time everything was just average third time we went it was really poor, they took my order and came back to tell me they didn't have it in today so I asked for wings she came back and told me they didn't have that also so I had to put a third order in, she came back and told me they found some duck so I ordered that it came out upside down so I knew it was going to be burnt I flipped it, completely black the prawns then came out dry, texture of rubber and no seasoning or even flavour. In the end we just left, the girl serving us was fantastic could never fault the service we just prefer to travel to seaham instead now

Had a take out from here yesterday as was at work I had chicken boti and salad no chips which was big chunks of chicken daughter had chicken butterfly which looked lovely and moist she had chips the red cabbage is also delicious the staff are lovely and friendly

This was out second takeout from Grill and Chill and honestly mostly the food is faultless the first time everything was perfect but this time we got rice and wings and the rice is so heavily spiced with what tastes like cumin it was not...

A take-away place only much much better. The food was really tasty and well priced. If you want to sit in, then the restaurant, although a little small is very well presented with modern and clean decor. The staff were really good, no idle chit chat which i really liked.

Excellent fresh cooked food with great service

Heard a few good things about this place and as a lover of grilled meats, thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the mixed grill for £13.95, chicken, beef, lamb, naan, fries, salad AND two sauces! Incredible, cooked to perfection and excellent value for money as it fed me, the Mrs and one of my kids. Second kid had chicken pitta, demolished it. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and friendly staff

Have used GnC in seagram loads of times so was really happy when one was opening up just round the corner from my house but have been a few times now to find some off the staff members rude in the kitchen area while waiting...

What's an absolute waste of £16. The place was empty when we arrived, only 2 tables in........despite that...she decides to sit me and my 10 years old daughter in the middle of the floor area next to the door absolutely freezing cold.... I mean freezing cold.When I ask to be moved she did say if it was for the draft???Obviously it's a common problem.......The business is been design with two doors.The porch!!! Is designed to keep the cold in (contain) before you are open the second door.obviously if the first door is (always ) open the porch is useless...Eventually we sad at another table obviously wasn't a problem plenty table available. I ordered chicken kebabs. With plain mayonnaise. Never arrived......And naan bread.... Never arrived until I stop a absolutely idiot and I asked him where is my daughter's naan. he came back with it and he threw it on the table even my daughter said to me how rude was that. Then I waited 15minutes after my daughter's meal then it came with a chicken wrap instead of lam rap. And I ask for thr lamb with only salad and it also came wrong.also when the girl insisted that I said chicken but I didn't because I don't don't eat chicken.and I also asked the waiter for something nice before my meal and she suggested the red pepper dip and it was a waste of money this cost me 4 pound for a dip . This dip was bland just plain red pepper blended with raw tomato FOR 4 POUND !!! My daughter also left her chicken after all they still charged me for this meal that my daughter didn't enjoy. mamma Italia is right next door and they serve better quality food cheaper friendly staff. Highly recommend mamma Italia.( Also the tapas is £2 each )!!!
