Having read the previous reviews, I can’t believe it’s the same place! My husband and I found the Seaburn Inn restaurant by chance as we drove through. We had a fantastic meal, both having scampi and chips with tartare sauce, mushy peas and onion rings that I could’ve worn as bangles - they were huge!! The staff were very friendly and the decor in the restaurant was brilliant with something unusual to see wherever you looked, there were lots of seemingly happy customers too! They offer a good selection of alcohol free drinks too! We strongly recommend this restaurant and if we are in the area, will definitely be back!

So disappointed in this meal as it was a good choice of food on the menu Mum chose a ‘barbecue pulled pork ‘bun and when it arrived she said it tasted funny so I tried it and I knew it had sriracha sauce on it !! No mention of this on the menu ??? So they offered to make a fresh one…. But just plain pork on the bun ! Awful Both the pizzas were the greasiest looking pizzas you’ve ever seen, and mine was completely black around the edge Me and my dad both left the majority of them The only meal that was ok was the salmon fillet ! The trifle was nothing like the description either !!! It was just covered in cheap squirty cream out of an aerosol not chantilly as described, no hundreds & thousands Wouldn’t eat in here and would say avoid

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Paid £16 for a Sunday Roast yesterday. I had to ask a waitress to come and clean the dirty dishes off the table. She did not clean it. Again I went and asked for someone to come and clean it. FGot fed up and used some of my soda water and atowel to clean the table myself. Most of the beef was inediable. As no one had come to the table during the meal I took the plate with all the meat I couldn't eat fat, grizel ect which was most of the portion about 3 mouthfuls were edible. The Manageress said "Did you get a check back"? I said "No" Then she suddenly declared she herself had come to the table and I had agreed the meal was fine. Absolute LIE, she was absolutely obnoxious and refused any full or partial refund. I tried to give the waitress the offending plate with all the fatty beef on it and THEN she accussed me of staff abuse. A clear diversion tactic of WOKINESS CRAP. Would not give me her name so i could make an official complaint and got extremely agressive. A regular customer told me later the food was hit and miss in there and the head manager in charge was even worse being a scruffy lout - his words not mine. I will never go in there again. First meal and last. We stayed the week before in a wonderful pubin Norfolk - nothing was too much trouble, the food was great and cleaniness excellent. What a difference! AVOID!!!!!

Nice sunny day so sat outside and ordered food. Waitress brought to table and we asked if there was any cutlery. She told us we had to go inside and get ourselves from station. At the prices they charge, would at least expect cutlery to be brought to table with food. Pizza ok. Chips were undercooked on two of dishes and sandwich bread was stale. Won't be returning.

We went in on our first nite in seaborne. The pina colada was awful The rigatoni was the worst meal I've ever had The staff were all on go slow or on the phones. NEVER AGAIN

I have eaten at the Seaburn Inn on serveral times since they opened and the food has always been delicious and good value for money. But on this occasion which was for my Sisters special birthday with friends that had never eaten there before it was terrible. Out of four meals three where not good. Two fish and chips with pale unappetising chips that where not fully cooked. To one Boa buns that where cold and chips as others where. On complaining to the waitress she took them away and returned 10 minutes later with the meals the fish was now over cooked and chips still not good. The Boa buns where not nice and the whole meal was left. On telling the waitress we received free coffee for all four of us. I complained to head office who where not bothered at all that one meal was not eaten at all. I would avoid going there at all if the Head office are not bothered if you enjoyed your meal and indeed left it all. Extremely disappointing. There are plenty of much cheaper and must better value for money only a short walk from the Seaburn Inn so please go there instead.

Lovely place to eat. Friendly staff who looked after us. Good food My Burger was well cooked and the chips were nice. Sticky toffee pudding was a nice portion , tasty and topped with ice cream. Good pint of Caffreys and the meal finished off with a liqueur coffee

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered drinks and food. My wife doesn’t have a big appetite so ordered a starter prawn tacos for £11 (note tacos not taco) Disappointment when my food came plus a single prawn taco for £11 which was a joke. Complained to waitress who went away and came back with a form to complain to head office as they had misprinted the menu apparently in a number of places and it should have been a taco NOT tacos. So peed off brought manager over who said it wasn’t their fault and couldn’t do anything other than refund entire meal What a joke - shocking misselling and disinterested management. Walked away with a full refund but spoilt a nice afternoon Better, nice, more genuine places are available in Seaburn so best avoid - such a shame as it seemed a nice place

Food isn't the best and not best value . Fish and chips - never seen fish like it before - was a sausage shape !? However real chips . Sea trout was over priced for 3 half pieces of new potatoes, a sliver of fish and could barely see the samphire . The steak was a small piece looking lonely on a big plate . Been twice now and wouldn't go back for food .

What a lovely hotel amazing stay beautifully clean gorgeous sea view room food excellent and the staff were amazing

First visit as we had a special deal. We loved the place, its was really relaxing and the views are beautiful. Staff were pleasant and very efficient. Food was delicious. I had slow cooked shin of beef which was sooo tasty. The only downside was the portion was small, which i am assuming was because it was a special deal. That aside i will be back again as the atmosphere and food were great

I took my wife and son for Sunday lunch today , it is my wife’s birthday weekender and we have had some Amazing meals out this weekend, we were served a meat feast pizza which was cold and with very little topping? Maybe it should have been called the missing meat pizza 🍕! We had 2 Roast beef Sunday lunches that looked delicious, the vegetables were undercooked and cold as was the mash , I asked the waitress if she could sort it out and she came with a side plate to put on the mash and vegetables to put them in the microwave???? After I refused this option she brought 2 more which were just as terrible! First and last time it looked great from the outside and that’s where it stopped , Extremely disappointed to say the least please choose wisely people.

Very welcoming establishment serving an extensive menu even on Sunday evening. Efficient and friendly staff Real ale well kept.
