Really tasty breakfast, nice atmosphere, very comfortable

We were looking for a good cup of coffee and a warm, friendly environment on a very cold day, so we hit lucky when we saw this wonderful cafe! From the minute we smelled the coffee as we opened the door, we knew we had made the right decision. We chose olives, carrot cake and lemon cake, and loved the coffee so much that we had a second cup. Friendly helpful staff too. Would highly recommend.

Our first visit and would definitely recommend. Great vibe and the food was delicious. We had soup, home made with lovely croutons and pea shoot garnish with a delicious toasted cheese scone with an expensive looking butter portion. The pie was a hit too. Great coffee in lovely cups. The small details make this place special. 4 stars for service only because our table wasn’t wiped when it was cleared before we sat down but we were grateful to be seated quickly. Staff were all friendly.

The view is lovely, The fish was superb, Chips slightly undercooked and the mushy peas were so salty they were inedible. You won’t get many riffraff in here at nearly £60 for two which is absolutely fabulous as far as we’re concerned 😎

£6.70 for a sausage sandwich and a cup of tea. Budget quality sausages budget quality tea budget quality stale bread. Over priced very poor value. It's such a shame because the location is perfect and it could be a popular place that people would return to.

Food came quickly and was very nice, lovely pub and shout out to Millie for her great service!
