The best restaurants serving British food in Bamburgh Northumberland North East

We were recommended these tea rooms and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff and prompt service. We had a lovely lunch. Homemade soup was on offer but we opted for sandwiches and tea for 2.

Popped in as a family on the off chance we could play crazy golf before the rain started and as we were just about yo play my son decided to take a seat on the decking outside . Bad idea as he managed to get a couple of spelks in his bottom.I popped inside the diner to ask the members off staff if they had any tweezers which they didn't so i took my son into the diner toilets where he had the biggest melt down then a lady member of staff came in with a cocktail stick which worked a treat and went above and beyond to help calm my son down clearly this lady has children and great people skills. I managed to get my son sorted, and we continued on with our day...great diner great place overall, and a massive thankyou the the member of staff for your help 👍 very kind hearted woman.

We stopped by chance at The Percy Arms for a drink and ended up eating an amazing meal-Wednesday afternoon and very quiet but the food was delicious and the service excellent. The soup was very tasty and the steak cooked to perfection - we will return!

This was our fourth visit to Beadnell Towers for Sunday lunch and unfortunately our last. On this occasion I found it expensive and not good value for what was on offer. I complained about the roast potatoes which were advertised as being cooked in duck fat. They were as tough as old boots, had been re-heated and even then they were cold- Aunt Bessies have nothing to worry about. When I complained I was told by the Maitre'D had he told the chef. When leaving I noticed that a number of other customers had also left their potatoes. For the prices charged the least I expected was freshly cooked vegetables.

Great place to stay on the island. Nice room with tea and coffee what more can you want.

Food very good, reception and dining room staff friendly and helpful. Bar staff not very good, one female brusque to the point of rudeness. Rooms small and not very comfortable, no where to relax in the rooms apart from on the uncomfortable bed. Not an issue if there were comfortable chairs and communal areas to relax for hotel guests or even comfortable chairs in the bar areas which there wasn’t. Would not recommend as a hotel or a bar to visit but food was good

This was a total disastererous lunch at Rosemarys. There is no sign to tell you to order at counter and pay, the staff just look at you!!!. I ordered 2 fruit scones 1 plain scone and a tomato soup. Cappuccino and Latte and decaf Cappucino. Paid £29.00 very expensive, as I actually never got one of the fruit scones. The two girls serving seem very disinterested in serving the customers and I couldnt see who was doing the cooking in the cupboard!. I received one of the coffees and it was stone cold, asked for it to be heated & think they just microwaved it as came back in same cup!!. Soup was served without my fruit scone, it was actually ok, but I will not be returning any time soon. And to top it all they do not have customer toilets!!!!! what kind of a cafe is this!!!!! 😡😡😡
