Fish and chips were just Ok! Thought the fat could have done with changing.The Staff looked sick of their lives. Wont be going back in a hurry.

Had a mix grill at the village inn. I must say It was the nicest mix grill I’ve ever had , couldn’t fault it. The staff were very friendly and dining area was very nice. This was my first time here I will definitely be going back 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

We booked a family lunch to celebrate our ruby wedding, exactly 40 years to the day of our wedding reception at the same venue. We mentioned this when booking and so it was slightly disappointing that no one acknowledged this, particularly having just returned from a Dubai holiday where the hotel without prompting left a card, cake in a room decorated with rose petals. Little things like this distinguish the good from the average. That out of the way, it has to be said that we thoroughly enjoyed our food and on that basis would recommend the restaurant. Service staff however show their inexperience and lack of leadership. Arriving in the bar no one acknowledged us or asked if we had a lunch reservation, with our drinks we then made our way to the restaurant where staff were pleasant but seem to be obsessed with surrounding the computer screen rather than looking after guests. Soup was served without a spoon, vegetable dish without a service spoon and then the computer screen was more concern than offering coffee which we had to get up and request. Menu stated with chocolates which again we had to request when none arrived and eventually a chocolate brownie arrived (Not chocolates) A good lunch but with a little more finesse could be improved.

An absolutely lovely cafe in a beautiful place. Super clean and smashing food. Seperate covered area for those with dogs which is missing from a lot of food establishments. Extra friendly and polite staff. In general a bit of a gem! I find it hard to believe that you'll not be impressed. Playpark and river walk right at the door.

So very disappointed . Not only was it New Year's Day but my daughter was home from Australia for Christmas. The orders weren't correct , the whole meal was very substandard and cold . Beef was tough so was the pork . We should have mentioned this at the time but didn't want to put a downer on the day. Will not be booking again .

After Park Run I always try & find somewhere to have breakfast & Broom Mill Farm did not disappoint. Although busy we didn’t have to wait long I had scrambled egg with 2 veggie sausages on lovely granary bread my Hubbie had a bacon & sausage bap washed down by decent coffees. We had a Quick Look at the Farm Shop that looked well stocked with meats, frozen ready to cook meals, cheeses & a few more interesting food stuffs. Whilst paying the bill we grabbed a cheese scone, a malteaser cookie slice & a Biscoff chunk for lunch later. Thoroughly recommend this little gem.

Lovely little cafe. Nice food and coffee and very well decorated inside. The staff were very friendly particularly a nice young man behind the till. We didn’t even notice there was an outdoor area, but I imagine on a sunny day like today, that would be a lovely place to sit with a coffee.

Thought we would give it a go since changing hands. My food was barely warm and chips were scrappy pieces that looked warmed up. Nobody came to ask if food was ok so no opportunity to say something and have it changed/replaced Needless to say we will never return. Disappointed

Vile customer service. We were screamed at the bald chef, and had a very bad from attitude from the blonde girl on the till. Will not be returning, kids are very upset. Do not recommend.
