Estaba muy decepcionado con mi primera visita a este lugar. Cuando hablé con el gerente, Paul antes de que pudiera siquiera terminar mi pregunta me hizo saber que era grosero con un miembro del personal, en lo que respondí que no estoy seguro de cómo preguntar sobre por qué un cliente de pago pregunta sobre un inodoro limpio es grosero, este gerente procedió a comunicar de manera defensiva y argumentativa, que me fui del local. No vivo en la localidad y nunca recomendaría este lugar debido al asqueroso estado del inodoro, (ni siquiera papel higiénico) y la falta de profesionalidad del gerente. Totalmente decepcionante, definitivamente no pensé que volvería a donde me alojo en mis vacaciones de fin de año.

Six of us in the group today and the meals were all well below the usual standard. Might need to travel further afield next time

Had a great lunch at the Cuckfield the other day! Great selection of beers on tap and delicious food, Lawrence was very helpful in making our food choice.

The worst experience ever. Tuesday afternoon very quite Waited for 15 mins to get gravy? And another 7 mins to get a measly portion of apple sauce? All the veg and potatoes were cold? Then waited 12 mins for a desert? Luckily I ordered the bill at the same time as the desert. Absolutely disgusting food and service. Would not recommend to an enemy steer clear.

Rang the order through. Asked to come at 615pm. 45MINS LATER we are still waiting. Sort it out the service is ridiculously slow

Este es un pequeño y agradable cafetería con un personal muy amable y servicial. Venden mini pasteles (Fornetti) y otra tamaño completo danés.

Got a takeaway on the way home, pretty sub-standard, overcooked (burnt) fish, chips (some, a small number admittedly) completely dry and stale, mixed in with fresh chips. Fresh chips were fine. Went back and complained to "The Manager" who said that there was nothing wrong, "the fish is perfectly cooked on the inside" was his response. Obviously, it did not matter to him that the fish was burnt on the outside. No offer of any compensation or apology. Bad products, bad service. A fish and chips shop that can't cook fish, give it a miss.
