We visited The Brook House for a Sunday roast and had a lovely experience overall. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the pub itself is clean, stylish, and modern. One thing to keep in mind—they had run out of all roasts by 6pm. While this was mentioned in the booking details, it’s worth noting for anyone planning to go; I’d definitely recommend heading there for lunch to avoid missing out. We all ordered the beef roast, which was delicious and served in generous portions. The cauliflower cheese was delicious too! A great spot for a relaxed Sunday meal!

The sole purpose of writing this review is to commend the staff. My brother and i were staying in the Millennium And Copthorne Hotels At Chelsea Football Club. We both had been to a local clinic for a surgical procedure and could not leave our hotel room to go for food etc so relayed on the hotel staff to bring items to the room. Both me and my brother would like to extremely commend MANASVI. The reason for this was each time i called she totally understood our situation and she always went above and beyond for us, her friendly and professional approach in my opinion is a true asset to your business. So thank you again Manasvi for your care and compassion during our stay you made it great! I would also like to mention Kane on reception he was also a very kind guy who was ever so helpful during our check in so thanks to him too!

Me detuve a tomar una taza de té como quería descansar mis pies doloridos y pensé que este lugar se veía bien. En el menú espejo detrás del mostrador se leía 'Nombre de la marca (no puedo recordar qué marca' Tés Infusiones frescas limón, jengibre, menta Le pregunté a la asistente si los tés de marca eran esos 3 sabores o si eran dos cosas separadas y ella dijo que no lo sabía. Esperé a que intentara averiguarlo, pero se quedó ahí. Luego vino otro miembro del personal y le pregunté si los tés de marca eran los sabores de limón, jengibre y menta y condescendientemente dijo 'no, esos son una marca de tés especiales' Una vez más esperé más explicaciones, pero no se recibió nada. Así que le pregunté '¿podrías decirme qué tés tienes para que pueda elegir?' y se deshizo de 5 tés muy rápido. No podía molestarme en pedirle que los repitiera así que pedí la rosa y la manzanilla ya que era la única que había logrado atrapar. Ella dijo: "¿Te lo vas a llevar, sí?" No, bebiendo por favor. ¿Sabes que cerramos a las 4? 'Ok' dije (Eran las 3. 15 en este punto) y ella se fue sin decir nada. El otro asistente se llevó mis 4 libras. 05 pago y me quedé esperando mi té. Pasaron uno o dos minutos y el asistente no estaba haciendo ni diciendo nada. Miré alrededor para decidir dónde sentarme y vi una olla de té y una taza en una de las mesas. Le pregunté si ese era mi té y ella dijo que sí. Así que el otro miembro del personal había ido y hecho mi té, lo había entregado a una mesa, no me lo había dicho, me dejó parado en el mostrador. Me senté y bebí mi té acuoso y me había ido a las 3. 30 . Una experiencia muy extraña e inhóspita e inconsistente con todas las críticas favorables. Tal vez no les gustó mi acento norteño 🤷

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt direkt gegenüber des Doms am Senatsplatz. Wir waren eine Gruppe mit 11 Personen und wollten dort in das neue Jahr feiern und hatten vorab alle wichtigen Informationen ( Fischallergie usw) kommuniziert. Davon wusste man leider nichts. Außerdem hatte man uns zugesichert, wir könnten zum Jahreswechsel raus gehen und dann wieder reinkommen. Um 23.40 wurden wir gebeten, dass Restaurant zu verlassen, da es um 00.00 schließt. So standen wir ohne ein Getränk um Mitternacht alle auf der Straße. Mein Geschmack ist auch das Sylvester menu nicht gewesen Wir 11 haben immer kleine Teller auf den Tisch gestellt bekommen, die wir uns dann teilen sollten. Alles sehr übersichtlich, was aber auch gut war, denn uns hat das Essen eh ncht geschmeckt. Es gab Austern, Wachteln, Hähnchenleber, das sind alles sehr spezielle Sachen, entweder muss man sowas vorher kommunizieren oder eine Alternative anbieten, wenn man sowas nicht mag. Der Teller und das Besteck, wurde nicht ausgetauscht, egal ob es Fisch oder Fleisch gab. Silvesterstimmung kam leider überhaupt nicht auf. Der Kellner merkte wohl, dass wir uns was ganz anderes vorgestellt hatten, wusste aber wohl, dass wir eh nicht wieder kommen werden.

We called in for some drinks after having dinner nearby and the atmosphere was buzzing. We sat upstairs in the bar area but there is an attractive lower garden that looked very inviting with its lights and heaters. We drank several bottles of wine and soaked up the atmosphere. When next in the area I would very happily visit again!
