We used to come here so much more often but we can’t afford these prices anymore and I’ve noticed the service sometimes feels grumpy compared to years before. It’s usually popular with the very well-heeled of Fulham and their prams but I can’t say this is a place that I’m drawn to choose anymore, mostly due to the prices feeling unfair.

Called at St Clements for lunch unsure of what to expect. The premises are beautifully presented and clean, the staff really polite and helpful. I would say it is a small menu but everything is freshly prepared in-house from scratch, so the menu has to be manageable to maintain such a high standard. I can only speak for what I ate which was a mushroom tart. I have to say I have never tasted anything like it! It was absolutely delicious and I think I would struggle to waiver to anything else on the menu now. I can say all the food was beautifully prepared and presented and the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their lunch too. I would definitely recommend a visit to St Clements if you are in the area.

The coffee is outstandingly good - rich and mellow. I gather the beans come from a very small roastery. All the savory dishes I have had at St. Clements are superb using the finest ingredients. I have nothing but praise for the owner, Olivia. She is clearly a perfectionist!

I am elderly and have a small dog and need to sit down half way through my walking stick assisted walks with the dog , I’ve been turned away several times in the morning with the excuse that I’m too early . The staff are just uncaring and blind to my plight. . It’s the season of good will but not at St Clements.

A few months ago I visited this cafe and although the food was incredible, the staff didn’t exactly match it. However, I visited today and was served by the most lovely, accommodating and friendly young girl called Kitty. I had my little boy with me, to which she was just delightful. I am really impressed and my opinion of this cafe has changed. I am definitely coming back!

Popped in for a coffee. I love espresso with a dash of non-dairy milk. “Macchiato” was marked at a staggering £3.20. This is a very normal coffee shop -nothing fancy. When paying I discovered that soya milk replacement was charged additional £0.65. Plus service charge of 12.5%. Assuming roughly a total cost for the retailer of£0.50, mark-up was about 700%. On a positive note, service was nice and efficient but I can’t stop thinking how dishonest is for them to charge £4.00 for a coffee...

My friend and I went for a quick brunch; had the mint pea smash which was DELICIOUS. Ingredients locally sourced and so fresh; tried their turmeric latte which was also excellent. The staff were so friendly and service was quick. We went on Saturday and the cafe was quite busy - would recommend getting there early. Atmosphere was great; very nice interior and also quieter downstairs area to do some work. Will definitely be going back!

I visited this cafe for first and now will be my only time. While the drinks and produce are of good quality the service was not that great. Firstly, my drink was completely mixed up, luke warm coffee when asked for extra hot and asked numerous times for water. That said I enjoyed my visit until I noticed upon leaving that someone had stolen my sunglasses. While I take full responsibility for the sunglasses I did not like the staff attitude at the time and when I called a few days laters, it was as if I was bothering them. So if you do visit be very careful to keep an eye on you personal belongings

I visited St Clements with a friend and felt compelled to write a review following our visit. On arrival, the place was pretty busy (I know why!) so we sat down outside and our orders were taken promptly - as everything on the menu looked pretty good I asked for a recommendation. Our waitress was happy to oblige and suggested the baked eggs with chorizo. I agreed and added some avocado for good measure too.Wow - what a lovely plate of food (as you can see from the pic too!) and with so many brunch places available nearby, one that really stands out.I'm looking forward to going back again soon to try so more dishes.

I am not one to write many reviews but sometimes it is worth doing so. Yesterday I stumbled on St Clements whilst meeting a friend for a brunch at another cafe. We'd not booked the one we were going to and were strolling along the king's road to parsons green. As we approached St clements we saw the tables full outside with people happily eating. what enticed me more were the salads at the counter, they looked scrumtious. so we decided to swap our normal and give this one a try. I had the vegan plate, with smoked salmon as an extra. it was delicious, I had to have the salmon as I'm not 100% vegan and am a sucker for good smoked salmon. Needless to say, the coffee was also lovely. It seems to me that they have a really good chef here and good baristas. I have read some of the other reviews complaining of slow service. it's actually quite nice to have to wait for something when it is a) this tasty and b) shows that they are busy and thus popular which should mean everything is fresh. I'd hate to eat somewhere where the food yes it is quick but it is old or out of a packet.as for the bill, well it was a treat to eat the food and I think all in all well worth it.

I absolutely love the food here, which is probably the only reason I keep going back. The service, however, has really plummeted. They have mixed up our orders on two separate occasions. The approach of some of the waitresses is quite rude and abrupt. There’s also a problem with hygiene, the cups for water are always quite dirty and I recently found a fly in one of mine. Its a real shame because the food and location is perfect.

Staff weren't rude in particular, but not very welcoming or friendly as one would expect until I needed to pay the bill, then they smiled. I think they look rather blank-faced there, not cold and not worm, so hard to read them. It wasn't particularly busy when I was there. Before being seated, I also asked if they have wifi internet, which they said they did. No information was provided about the name of the network or anything, so had to double check this with one waiter as they had 3 networks under their company name. The first waiter I asked said he was busy with another customer, which I did find rude, and I understand you can be flustered as a waiter if stress is creeping up, but politeness and tack was lacking; what he should have said is "I'm sorry I'm with another customers order, but I will be with you in a minute or I'll send someone else to you, is that ok?". Coffee was nice (I ordered the latte - £3.00) but when seated at the table, no sugar or napkins provided, had to fetch them myself, which I was annoyed about later when they charged me 'service charge'! I usually stear clear of places that add service charge automatically to the bill, not because i dont want to pay it, but because i believe as a customer i should be the judge of the service and tip. i ordered poached eggs on sourdough bread, wasn't anything wow,, generaly a small portion, charged £6.50, which I think is over-priced for two eggs and a piece of bread with a small pinch of a leafy salad. Toilets were clean. They have internet which was reliable, nice decor overall. I think it's a pretentious place, staff are hard to read, and I won't go back because of the reasons above. I think the coffee was good, that's about it really. They close early, so dont do dinner. I think this place would excel with cherrier staff, a re-look at the prices on the pretentious menu, and maybe leave the tipping to customers. I always tip those who provide good service, and I dont see why anyone should have to do so if not given the proper standard of service every customer deserves for making their business run in the first place.

My elderly Mother and I were down for the week and staying nearby. The sign outside declared St Clements had won awards and it looked quaint so we decided to pop in for brunch. Even with the pricey menu we stuck with it. I opted for organic buttermilk pancakes with 'seasonal fruits' and coffee. Mum ordered a scone and jam (raspberry being the only option available - it should be noted that a. Not everyone likes raspberry and b. it's not a good for people with arthritis (since I assume you have organic produce for the health benefits, perhaps have another choice other than honey available) My pancakes were okay, not quite what I expected. A tad limp and I couldn't detect the buttermilk. The 'seasonal fruits' was 1 banana cut into long slices to fill the plate! Given St Clements location is across the road from a sublime deli and traditional fruiterer this was a tad odd. Coffee was great however and I was informed that the scone was delicious. Goodness knows why we returned for brunch on the 2nd day to be honest. Aloof attitudes and not just from staff. A foray of mothers with babies with no consideration for anyone else had taken over the inside of the cafe. Staff clearly not bothered. Two women barged past me through the narrow doorway without apology - charming! 4 staff members pretty much ignored me at the till (seemed busy, but they weren't full). I asked about the availability of bacon rolls or suchlike and I was met with blank expressions which developed into a disinterested and condescending discussion as I tried in vain to describe to the staff what a bread roll was - very uncomfortable! I have never been made to feel more foolish or out of place anywhere else in the world. A point of fact to the management - London is a cosmopolitan city and you should NEVER judge a book by it's cover (You don't know me from Adam and your staff should mirror the respect they are shown. The wearing of shorts or a Scottish accent does not constitute disrespectful, ill mannered superiority complexes amongst your staff - who should be aware that voices carry) Fortunately my Mother is deaf so she didn't hear what went on and I didn't want her upset so I chose to take it on the chin and ignore it but I am utterly disgusted. An offer of toast was eventually made (around 3 minutes after this odd conversation though, a waitress walked past with what looked like a bacon bagel!?) So yes, interesting visit. No, won't be back.

We visited for brunch and were very underwhelmed. We both ordered organic buttermilk pancakes with seasonal fruit and honey. What we got was three small pancakes each, not very well cooked, with half a cup of chopped strawberries on each plate and a plastic bottle of honey on the table. In addition, the coffee was bitter and the staff weren't very attentive. It's a lovely space and the cakes looked delicious though, so it might be a good spot for tea and cake in the afternoon - or if you choose something other than the pancakes for brunch.

If you are a regular coffee drinker, get their card which entitles you to a free coffee after you have received eight stamps.

Really lovely coffee (nice to have a choice between soya and almond milk also) and freshly squeezed orange juice. The fritters were delicious with perfectly poached eggs. A great cafe to work solo or meet with friends. Would recommend.

We are local residents and my wife, son and I sometimes go here. During the week, you'll be knee-deep in the local Fulham mums and their toddlers, during the weekend it's professional couples and families. The food focuses on freshly cooked lunch and brunches and cakes and pastries. The service is notoriously patchy. They seem to have plenty of staff (I've seen up to 5) but even if you go at a quiet time, I can take ages to get served. The staff seem to have a very laissez-faire attitude. It's not uncommon for half an order to be forgotten and they have to be reminded. Decor and ambience are classy but so are the prices, for a cafe. Cooked lunches are around £12. You'll get no change from £7 for a cake and coffee. I am sure they'll argue everything is cooked and sourced freshly. The food is decent enough with good recipes and ingredients. Overall, I am rather undecided and given its great location, well-healed clientele, design and decor, it could be so much better.

I came across St Clements in search of a place to I write, I sat inside at a table next to the window. I ordered a hot chocolate which was most delicious, it was so nice to finally find a hot chocolate that tasted so amazing. So perfect!! I also ordered a gluten free chocolate brownie which was also delicious and perfect for me because I'm gluten free!! The service was excellent and the waitresses were lovely, especially one girl, I think her name was Lucy. I will 110% be returning to St Clements, my new writing spot!!

Visited last week for scrambled eggs - amazing rich and delicious eggs and then had a great banana bread crammed full of nuts and sultanas. Highly recommend - apparently they do good salads too. Staff were charming and very helpful and gave us a bowl of water for our dog!!

Ignore the reviews below, they certainly can't be for the St Clements I know and love. My favourite healthy brunch spot in London - but the cakes are also delicious!

I came in for brunch with some friends on the weekend and we were blown away by how delicious the food was. The produce was of the highest quality, and expertly cooked and all reasonably priced. I had the pea, chard & leek fritters which were AMAZING and the coffee was great too. Really friendly and efficient service... I couldn't fault this place and will definately be back!

I recently had a lovely lunch at St Clements with a friend. We shared some delicious fresh and tasty salads and each had a coffee which was also delicious. We took home some sweet treats and the Brownie was particularly well-received ! A lovely light and airy atmosphere too- perfect for Spring/Summer lunching!

A very poor customer service completely ruined the experience for me. I went there with three friends of mine and we all ordered brunch. By mistake instead of ordering one plate each we ordered one extra and paid for it. When we informed staff she said that because we ordered 5 plates instead of 4 and the food was already made there's nothing they can do. Funny enough two of my friends who were there with me own an independent coffee shop brand themselves and both said they would offer a refund straight away. It's a shame that a place like that cares more about £11.50 in the till than a customer's satisfaction and a good review. Definitely not going back there. Terrible customer service made me even forget what food we had.

Good quality food but rather pricey, particularly for the optional breakfast items. Very popular so perhaps it's worth it.

Surly, unwelcoming and unsmiling service. Food expensive, limited selection and not worth the high prices. No real options for children.

Divine little spot on the King's Road. We sat outside and were given blankets to stay warm. Lovely atmosphere and great breakfast menu (something for everyone). Portions are big, the cakes looked amazing. Sadly, I cant recommend the coffee. It tasted quite bitter, but it may have just been a bad day. They do take reservations, which is a bonus if you are going in a big group.

I went there for a coffee and I know that they close around 5:30 PM. I was in the cafe around 5:15 PM, I was planning to order, but the coffee barista said " I can't serve you, because I already cleaned and closed the coffee machine". I told him it's early to close, but he ignored me and didn't even attempt to say "Sorry". So I think I will never go back!

Starter gets 3out of 10, and downhill from there. The simple fish dish was dry, overcooked and perhaps not sourced from the best fishmonger. Dessert was even worse. Bad quality vanilla ice cream with cheap ginger pieces. I believe this place has been there for a while, I don't understand how it only got two reviews. There were elderly people, so perhaps they don't use online review sites. What a mistake, never again.

Just went there today. Was recommended by a friend who knows how picky I am with my coffee. It is worth it. Good selection of ground, made by someone who knows how to use a coffee grinder and a coffee machine. Highly recommended. They do home food for lunch/which look good. There is also a "pop up" diner 1/month which looks very promising.

Davon wusste man leider nichts.

We waited over 20 minutes to be served. The queue was quite long. I noticed people paid first before be served. So my son went to pay whilst I waited in the queue. The staff member serving us proceeded to tell us off . I thought he was very rude. I was not impressed. The making of the ice cream was impressive. My son enjoyed his ice cream.

We called in for some drinks after having dinner nearby and the atmosphere was buzzing. We sat upstairs in the bar area but there is an attractive lower garden that looked very inviting with its lights and heaters. We drank several bottles of wine and soaked up the atmosphere. When next in the area I would very happily visit again!
