I was served by Joey, a wonderful waiter and had a legendary chicken roast dinner for Sunday lunch on 11th May The pub was cool calm and yummy roast, decent young man

We are regulars here and were served by Ryan and Yann who have been very attentive and super helpful with us!! The spring / summer cocktails this year have been really incredible.

Great service all round, really lovely, friendly staff. The atmosphere was perfect and just what you want in a good pub, nice music and good food along with a perfect pint. Will definitely be coming back here with my husband because I know he’ll love it.

An amazing pub in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush. The atmosphere is amazing, great music, staff friendly and welcoming, great range of beer. Next time I will try their food as it was highly recommended by a friend of mine.

The service was great throughout our time in Defectors weld. I had Guinness and it was good for the area! Ryan was really helpful!

Me and my family came down to eat yesterday, booked a table of five last min and got a really nice spot in the garden. Staff were friendly, good drink selection and food was the best I have ever had in a pub. Defo coming back, one of my favourite pubs in London.

The fish and chips were delicious although it was a little low on salt, the waitress Andrea's attention was excellent, very nice and she recommended the Mac and cheese croquettes which I loved, I would 100% return

We went to have some beers and the service was perfect, everything was very good and fast. We ended up trying the mac and cheese croquettes and they were delicious.

Went into this pub to get a pint of youngs bitter. The pint drawn was cloudy and then the barrel run out so unable to get a bitter. Was then told by staff that no more bitter was available in a Youngs Pub. So please tell me why on a Good Friday this pub should run out of the flagship bitter Youngs pubs were made on. As a Pub I would never go back and obviously you couldn’t give a toss!!

Took 15 minutes to get served by an apparently blind bartender! Overcharged for Camden hells! Got charged £7.60 when it says £7.15 on the menu! Daylight robbery!! Avoid, and very SAD!

Lovely gastro pub! Steak was cooked perfectly and the home made chips were fluffy and crispy 😋 Yann was very friendly and efficient and made sure we had everything we wanted!

Went there for a pint, stayed for the vibe. My friends and I wanted a quick bite to eat and a drink before we went to a show at the o2 and the atmosphere was amazing! We even came back after for the late night dJ. One of the bartenders, Yann, was particularly helpful and we’re sure to visit again!

Walked into this gaff some Thursday night looking to have a cheeky pint. Numpty doorman told me to jog on as I'd already gotten a bit barmy. Won't be returning.

We came yesterday for couple of drinks and ended up staying for food. Food is delicious and Matilde went above and beyond to serve us and really checked on us the whole time. We felt so welcome :)) Very helpful and attentive! Thank you

Great pub with great selection beers and buzzy atmosphere. Thurs eve pre gig drinks and burger. Burger good but £18, but fries awful- overcooked and dry.

Quite busy but we found three comfortable empty stools at the end of the bar. Service was good but only one real ale, Young's. Dozens of keg beers to choose from. A very noisy party started in one room, blocking out any hope of conversation in that side of the bar. Toilets clean and tidy.

Probably the most upmarket pub in the neighborhood and the prices reflect that.

Really lovely experience. Menu was really interesting but still classic. Extensive drink list. Lively but not too crowded. Incredibly welcoming bartenders - very attentive and patient with visitors who don’t know pub culture.

Well located and decent vibe but mostly big corporate beers from Heineken, Diageo and InBev, c.10% independent craft unfortunately

This was a couple of years ago but one of the bartenders was not very nice towards underrepresented group - he treated me unfairly and disrespectfully in a number of occasions

I loved the layout but, the music was WAY to loud totally ruined the visit. Made my eye water.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at this pub! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The highlight of the meal was definitely the roast dinner – it was hearty, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The roast potatoes were crispy, the meat was tender and the gravy was incredible. A perfect Sunday roast in a beautiful pub with great atmosphere. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and exceptional service!

Massively expensive and miserable staff not a great experience at all

We recently celebrated a birthday at Defectors Weld and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great buzz that made the evening even more special. The food was absolutely delicious—everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. It was the perfect place for a celebration, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Lovely pub, the manager with a man bun is a-bit of a dickhead though.

Robert was the most amazing host, made me my Bf and dog feel so at home. Went out of his way to give us a good dog friendly table and came over with water for dog straight away and took our drink orders. Will come again just for this service !

Buena comida y un ambiente brillante. Partido de fútbol en un club cerca de esa noche haciendo un ambiente muy agradable. Menú de comida limitada, pero las opciones eran buenas y a pesar de estar ocupado el servicio era muy rápido. Tenía una muy buena gama de cervezas también.

We would usually go here on the weekend and they would have a DJ playing all the hip hop and R&B you want. Danced our arses off many time (Didn't have food so can't ccommecnt on that).

We stopped in for a drink before lunch and the staff were so lovely we ended up staying for lunch and several more drinks! The barman (James) was especially good at recommendations. Food was really nice, friends had DFC chicken sharer which seemed good value for money and the veggie gnocchi was went well with the drinks. Overall good friendly atmosphere and very calm and collected staff.

Food looked and smelled great, was sad I'd only nipped in for a quick pint as planned to eat elsewhere. Great range of drinks and we'll kept by friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a pop in.

Visited on a busy Saturday just before Christmas, we were looking for food while waiting for our hotel room nearby to be ready. It was mobbed with football fans, but we were advised to give it 10 minutes and they'd all be off to the game. Sure enough, the place completely emptied and we got a cosy table by the fire. I ordered the Toad in the hole, my friend had the burger. Mine was a little dry but all perfectly edible. Enjoyed a couple of drinks too. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Our server was Sam and she was excellent. Made sure allergies were addressed and made good recommendations. We had a larger group and they helped us find a bigger table.

A pleasant pub where you can spend some time, for my taste, prices are excessive for the quality of the dishes, some excessively expensive.

My daughter and I had a great time. Last year and the year before we spent with family but because that was not possible for 2024 we decided at the last mintue to go to a pub. I had a frantic phoning around to find somewhere. Finding space at The Defectors Weld did disappoint. The food was a lot, worth the £75 per person. There wasn't too many people there if anything more guests would have made an even better atmosphere, but it was still great. Thank you so much. Sharon Staples

They accommodated our request for the private bar upstairs, we had the whole room which was festively decorated including Christmas Tree :) The food was great and service was friendly and efficient. Thank you guys for a great team Christmas Party. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to book again for future events! Special thanks to Robert for looking after us all!

Reservamos una mesa para 9 hace un número de semanas , al llegar nos pusieron sobre una mesa para 6 , claramente tenían allí reservas de Navidad y no nos habían dejado espacio , después de hablar con el gerente era evidente que no había dónde reubicarnos , extremadamente decepcionante ya que habíamos viajado de todas partes para reunirnos , no tuvimos más remedio que irnos pero ponernos sobre una mesa que claramente no era lo suficientemente grande era mala gestión y a no podía importar menos actitud

Yup, only in for a couple of hours and didn't eat but the staff were really effective and happy which made for a good atmosphere.

Absolutely ridiculous situation at the door. This used to be our local pub but not anymore . The two guys working at the door are extremely rude Never gonna step my foot in there not when I am treated like this ! AVOID and actually go to a friendlier proper pub ( last time I was in the garden the one bouncer actually came to tell someone to turn their hut around !) I mean .. how posh do you thing your place is ??

Great selection of beers and nice atmosphere

I came here on 4th December with my work colleagues for our Christmas lunch. Everyone was impressed with the atmosphere, great decor and great music and Christmas crackers were also provided! The food was amazing, we all cleaned our plates and service was excellent. There were 16 of us and everything went smoothly. There were 2 people with dietary requirements and these were catered for well. Its always good to find a nice place nearby so I'm sure we'll be coming here again. Thank you Defectors Weld.

Poor service,miserable waitress,table not big enough for 3 people and 16.50 for a small burger and a portion of oven ready fries was a rip off.really wasn't what I was expecting and was really disappointed should have gone to McDonald's it's better value.

We went to this pub and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices of the beers, which were quite affordable. So we stayed for several tours. Very friendly bar, with an interesting musical atmosphere. The staff was also very attentive.

Perfectly decent place to have a few drinks. Service was pretty rapid even at busy times, pleasant vibe, quite comfortable.
