Defectors Weld in Hammersmith and Fulham

Poor service,miserable waitress,table not big enough for 3 people and 16.50 for a small burger and a portion of oven ready fries was a rip off.really wasn't what I was expecting and was really disappointed should have gone to McDonald's it's better value.

Went in for a pint, had a nice sit-down.

We went to this pub and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices of the beers, which were quite affordable. So we stayed for several tours. Very friendly bar, with an interesting musical atmosphere. The staff was also very attentive.

Perfectly decent place to have a few drinks. Service was pretty rapid even at busy times, pleasant vibe, quite comfortable.

We had the best time in the private room at the defectors weld, our bartender was incredible

Good god. The wait for food here was mental. Tortoise speed 🐢 food was alright - but my expectations were sky high after an epically long wait pre-match, and then shattered by slightly fishy fish. Beer was good as was the bar. Food was utter chaos.

Despite being a busy evening when we visited the staff were friendly and great at their job. This venue is very reasonably priced

We tried a fish dish to share between 2 for £25. Very good atmosphere, recently renovated with a beautiful interior patio and spectacular smoking fireplace. Very warm.

Went for a Sunday roast catch up with my family. Great food, attentive friendly staff and reasonably priced. An added bonus, no TV. We had great fun relaxing, chatting and eating.

Really nice pub with some charming and cosy vibes. The music gets turned up very loud however which gets overwhelming and makes conversations difficult.

This is a good one. Cool vibes, decent food and great service. You'll like it! Particularly liked the big cat / banana / musician themed wall art.

All good except the fact they pulled the Guinness in one go without letting it settle first! Don’t know why but… hopefully will sort this out. Lovely outdoor area at the back.

Really lovely pub just few mins from station. Great customer service and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ordered the smashed burger and tasted amazing, was greeted by Ryan, he was very handsome with a gorgeous smile.

Popped in the other night and what a place. With a substantial beer collection you are spoiled for choice. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in their suggestions on what to go for. And the food portions are enormous. I will be returning very soon

Really on the fence about this pub. It is a gorgeous building and location and has potential, but the music is too loud to hold a conversation, and the service wasn't great. Maybe it's nicer during the day than the evening. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat. I was forced into using the Youngs app to use a coupon I had, and after ordering through the app, nothing came for 20 minutes. After going to the bar to ask, they said they don't see app orders. Seems like a major oversight considering Youngs is pushing campaigns through the app.

My friend & I are in town for the Era’s Tour to see T. Swizzle!! We stopped into the Defector’s Weld immediately after landing at Heathrow airport. We were tired but the friendly service, authentic local pub vibes, delicious beers & incredible fish & chips perked us up! We had such a good experience at Defector’s Weld, and since were only in town a couple days, we decided to go back for dinner and lunch the very next day before the concert! We also tried the Pie on the menu and it was our best meal of the trip!

Absolutely ridiculous. We arrived for a Pre-FRIENDLY football match. Teams in different leagues. They opened late and then said 'home-fans only'. Not a friendly greeting! It's a friendly game and there is no reason why fans wanting to come in for a friendly game are banned. Maybe put a sign up saying 'Home fans only' in future...and open on time! Pop over to the Sindercome Social and see how nice the atmosphere is.

The transformation of this place since reopening earlier this year has been a complete regeneration of life. It has an inviting outdoor garden, spacious and inviting dining and bar area, and the staff overall are friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is amazing, with good portions at fair prices, a complete change from the pre renovation offerings for those who had been before. I'm glad I went for the Sunday roast and experienced the change to this pub and will certainly be returning.

Immi was absolutely AWESOME! 31 degrees and the hottest day of the year , roads were melting as were humans .. like an oasis in the dessert immi welcomed us into the weld with open arms .Immi had excluded an aura which seemed just perfect for the perfect day we were having at nearby Westfield.Immi was very attentative and looked after our fussy needs perfectly, we cannot praise this amazing woman enough as she rounded our amazing day amazingly . Scotch egg, which we shared to start, was delicious and a very generous size. My partner had the clucking chicken burger which he described as ‘just a burger’ and I ordered the very disappointing ’smashed’ burger. When you order a smashed burger, you imagine it homemade, ground beef in a ball and then ‘smashed’ on the grill, juicy and succulent. What I got was two, bought in, flat, well done patties with the usual trimmings served with the usual fries. It’s a pity because our waiter was friendly and fun and the bar service (one of my big gripes about London) was excellent, fast and friendly. We really liked the pub, its decor, lighting, etc. but if you’re going to have a smashed burger on the menu, make sure it is that, home made and smashed!

Had a great experience. Tried the smash burger and the katsu fish finger sandwich—both were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, while the katsu fish finger sandwich had a unique and flavorful twist. Great atmosphere and friendly staff made the visit even better. We had our joint 60th birthday party in the private room upstairs. It was a wonderful evening, the manager on duty was really helpful and the second person behind the bar was great. At the start of the evening the alarm kept going off but that was sorted and we then danced the night away. Thank you Defectors Weld for enabling us to have a special evening.

I love the Sunday roast at The Defectors Weld, the pub was refurbished last year and there's a nice vibe overall. Though this time around I was a little disappointed by the size of the beef roast, they usually give a good portion, and though there were plenty of veggies, I only got a small slice of beef, while every other time I had at least two. Also, my friends went for the chicken roast and they had half a chicken on their plates... I think it'd be nice if portions were fair for the beef as well, as £20 Sunday roast for veggies only (or almost) is a little pricey... But, the Sunday roast, both beef and chicken, are really nice and tasty, probably one of my favourites in London!

This is my fav go to place whenever I’m near Westfield. I love the atmosphere there. I was served by Savanna this time round. She gave me great recommendation for the drinks! Great service by her

I came to this pub as it's close to where my office is, and I wanted to catch the England match with a friend. We booked a table but they moved us to somewhere with a better view of the TV screen with minimal fuss. Zharnai was very friendly and accommodating. I noticed this pub had recently had renovations (I'd walked past a ton of times before going in yesterday for the first time) - it's absolutely beautiful inside. The food was actually very very good, a notch or two above what you would call "pub grub", little details very well taken care (i.e. super crispy chips). Will definitely be back
