This place is just amazing!!! I flew all the way from Melbourne Australia just for their monday night pub quiz, big up the brookhouse for welcoming me with a lovely drink after my 26 hour flight xx

Burrata to start was very good. Roast also equally impressed. Service was good throughout and there was a good vibe throughout.

The Sunday roast was amazing, I had the chicken and my partner the lamb. There is a vegetarian option with cauliflower cheese too. The service was a little slow to start with but very friendly and the food came speedily. The sticky toffee pudding was incredible. I'd highly recommend.

Wonderful food, enjoyed in an excellent setting. Very well decorated for Christmas. We moved tables to be under the tree in the Center of the venue which was lovely. Some Of the tables with benches by the wall were a bit close together so it was hard to hear. The menu changes daily but we enjoyed the snacks, and for main we had scallops, bavette steak and stonefish. Would recommend.

I have eaten at Brook House a few times and this weekend was up to its usual high standards. All the staff ( including the kitchen chefs) are lovely, warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It’s always a wonderful atmosphere and strikes the perfect balance between impeccable taste, lack of pomposity, with warmth and integrity. The food is of the highest standard. Lovely. The proprietors should be proud . Thankyou!

A very frustrating and underwhelming experience. They were not able to accomodate for a dairy allergy. At all! Because the chef has the arrogance of not agreeing to modify any dish AT ALL. That means including just cooking a burger patty for a 1year old without the cheese+bun. Apparently that would compromise the integrity of his cooking. He did not have anything else to offer than oysters or tuna tartare (for a 1 year old). The waitress wasn’t apologetic about it at all. So the kids didn’t eat - because we ended up ordering a bavette for them in the end, which he drenched in balsamic and chimichurri (again after we requested it is just the meat). Felt a little bit like a vendetta! The rest of the food is good but not worth the price. And the burger is really nothing special. You would think they could have tried to at least offer us some bread for the kids but it’s also probably not up to their standards. Really a shame as we are local to the pub and the venue is lovely. The chef needs to tone down his arrogance, and the staff be more accomodating. Have never been somewhere that can’t cater to allergies at all! To top it off we got asked to free up the table after a while… and ran out of the whisky one of our guest was drinking. Such an unpleasant lunch for all of us.

Brook House never disappoints! The best Sunday Roast in London, in my opinion. Lovely food, wine and beers, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I want to express my disappointment following our dinner (6 people). I ordered pasta, which took nearly an hour to arrive and was unfortunately overcooked. When I requested cheese, I was told there wasn't enough for other dishes, which felt quite unaccommodating. Ironically, my friend’s risotto was loaded with cheese, leading to confusion about your policies. Additionally, the steak was average, overshadowed by an excessive amount of peppercorn sauce. Throughout the meal, the staff failed to check on us and seemed indifferent to our concerns. While we appreciated the cozy atmosphere and enjoyed the starters, these issues significantly impacted our experience. Stay away from this place!

Had a group dinner with friends on a Wednesday evening. This is a lovely 'pub' but actually more like a wine bar with a restaurant. The place was really busy, both the restaurant and the bar. Good lively atmosphere but acoustics are not great and sound bounces around making it hard to hear. Food was excellent. Fresh oysters to start, then I had a steak from the daily board which was delicious. Both well prepared and presented. Others in the group had fish which they all thought over salted. Cannoli for desert was a treat and perfectly prepared.

Went here on a Sunday and everyone who ordered the roast beef said it might have been one the best roast they've had in London. Good portions too. Disappointed that the chicken was only available for 2-3 people and not as an individual portion. The majority of people tend to choose roast beef so difficult to find someone to share which means missing out on a Sunday roast. Wouldn't go back based on this. Nice atmosphere and vibe. Not the place to order cocktails -- not good.

This is definitely the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had. Great portion, everything was so well done and seasoned. Staff was so lovely, helpful and just the whole experience was amazing. We were warned we’ll have to wait little longer because everyone else is having roast but food still came out super quickly. Will be back very soon!!

One of my favorite spots in London!

Have been here about 5 times now (most recently today, 7th July) always a lovely roast, however seem to have the most shockingly bad service every time. Food took 1hr and 15 mins to arrive (without any prior warning), staff are all over the place (polite but useless) and the management seem to not give two hoots. I also witnessed one member of staff being absolutely chastised for being 5 minutes late to his shift - the boy shoved past me first by the loos, his manager came chasing after him swearing and shouting (some very rude name calling). I could not believe it but perhaps why they have so much staff turnover and bad service as a result? Anyway, have always gone back for the food quality in the past and put up with the service at my own risk but not anymore, completely ludicrous place and would not recommend or return again.

A delicious Sunday roast - I had the dry aged rump, medium rare and it was splendid. I also tried the lamb roast and that was really good as well. The staff were all so friendly and it was a really good atmosphere. Would come back.

I had dinner last weekend and stayed with friends for drinks after that. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. Now, it is my new favourite spot for drinks in Fulham

Me and friend come to brook house at around 5pm and asked the barmaid could we sit at a table near the window we was told yes at around 7pm a member of staff come up and put a reservation card on our table for 8:15 did not even ask us if we was leaving before then just put it on the table and walked away we then asked the waitress why this happened and she did not know I then asked to talk to the person that done this she came over and told us that there is a 2 hour limit on tables there is said to her we been here since 5 o’clock and we wanted to stay past 8:15 and asked her to explain why we was sitting at a table from 5 and was basically being told we had to leave at 8:15 we felt really unwelcome and in the end left unacceptable from them

My family and I had an amazing experience celebrating my dad’s birthday. The most amazing food we’ve had in a long time and excellent service. A big shout out to Alyona for her hospitality and for making the day extra special.

Went there last night on reccomendation of so many people in our neighborhood and had high hopes, but unfortunately the service was unapologetically awful. It took 25+ minutes to bring two bottles of wine we had ordered, 1.5 hours for food and they forgot two of the dishes we ordered without apologising and just brought the bill. The restaurant was not even that crowded. I'm flexible/forgiving on service in pub-like settings but this was so bad it overshadowed the good food and setting.

Splendid neighbourhood gastropub which delights with both food and wine. The ever-changing menu blends high class staples (such as Cote de Boeuf for Valentine's Day) with unexpected treasures such as Curried Monkfish (absolutely delicious when we visited in January). Great wine selection, good cocktails, great atmosphere. Consider us new regulars!

Food was fabulous and the service was fabulous and it was all gorgeous…. Apart from the over zealous bouncer on the door who wouldn’t let us in because it was full. I explained I had a booking and he wouldn’t hear of it. Agressive little thing. Stood in my way telling me I couldn’t come in. It was a bit weird and if I wasn’t British I would have complained to the staff…. But this will do instead! Eventually I pushed through and he shrugged - probably thinking that I would be chucked out. We weren’t. 🙄 it really was delicious and worth all the hype. Lovely night.

Amazing pub vibes. Went there before and roasted chicken was amazing this time was a bit more on the dry side. I will go back during the week to taste de normal menu. They were children running and dragging a dog all over the place which wasn’t very nice to have that show while eating. Service was okay, but took a while to grab someone’s attention.

This local Fulham restaurant always feels like home. I live in Soho and am certainly not short of wonderful restaurants in my neighbourhood, but I am always happy to travel to Fulham to dine at Brook House, where I am certain to find familiar faces like Olivia, the Manager (who I would hire myself if I had a restaurant) and continually tasty and inventive dishes. These days, where hospitality sees staff come and go all the time, it is very reassuring to see Olivia, along with the rest of the staff. Most recently I ordered the duck (it was the special) - so tasty, with a fresh blackberry sauce (I don't even usually like that sort of sauce), chard (if I remember correctly) and gorgeous potatoes. The bar and the seating area near the front door are very cosy and perfect for a drink before dinner. The restaurant has loads of quirky additions that make it stand out (like the portraits on the walls, the tree in the middle, and the fabulous House of Hackney wallpaper in the loos too). I once went with a friend who is vegan and provided they know in advance, the restaurant will fix something for you. We did not let them know in advance, but they fixed something nevertheless. I cannot rate it highly enough.

Roasts are AMAZING! I love how generous the portions are, how ridiculously good the wine list is and how friendly and helpful everyone is. The front of house team are always so sweet and they remember their locals - there's often a bit of a community vibe. Really, a phenomenal place to go for a feast - the best in Fulham. Also...the focaccia needs to be sold separately, to take home because it's so good!

Awful service from the front of house staff, extremely rude and pretentious. Refused to remove the 12.5 gratuity charge on the bill as they said it to be ‘mandatory’ which I’ve learned in not the case and is completely optional anywhere you dine in London. Won’t be eating here again, the food was good but a huge let down by the service. Was hoping this would be my local pub every Sunday for a roast meal. The Fulham Arms is a 5 or so minute walk away and has exceptional service, great food, and great atmosphere - it’s been my new local for weeks now, I’d recommend going there instead! Updating per response from Brook House team (Olivia): Your response proves the terrible attitude you and your staff have saying “I am sorry you don’t have anything better to do over the Christmas break”. It is snarky and a terrible way to treat anyone, let alone a customer of your establishment. I left this review over the Christmas break as I was speaking to friends about the poor service we received and thought I had better leave a review before I forget to again so that other people don’t waste their money coming here. I don’t need the £8 refund thanks - it’s not worth my time.

The cooking was superb. Really exceptional and a pleasure in every way. The service was sullen, cold and miserable verging on rude. It is extremely sad that a restaurant that takes such obvious pride in its outstanding cuisine cannot pay more attention to training its waiting staff to behave with greater professionalism towards its clientele. The two young women serving our table on Friday 1st Dec were so unbelievably unsmiling, silent and bored-looking that it would be hard to imagine wanting to return. A sad state of affairs considering the superb work being carried out in the kitchen.

Some forty or so years ago, my father approached the bar at a very well-known pub in Wimbledon. The Australian barman greeted him with "Y'alright mate?". Dad responded with "I am very well indeed, thank you - but I suspect you might mean 'Good morning Sir, what may I get you to drink?'". Different times of course, & Dad was something of a stickler for courtesy, but he would be turning in his grave if he ever paid a visit to Brook House. There, the young lady with the check-in tablet (dark hair, Mediterranean complexion, glasses) chooses to 'welcome' guests - when she can tear herself away from conversations with colleagues &/or the aforementioned tablet, with "You?" or, for variation, "And you?", followed by an extremely brusque request for one's name. Farewells are similarly ignorant & dismissive, which is a great pity ... because the Sunday lunch that is bookended by this bizarre treatment is absolutely outstanding. Generous portions of accurately roasted & succulent meats are accompanied by the very crispest potatoes, and piping-hot, flavoursome gravy. These stars of the show are perfectly complemented by a lavishly puffed Yorkshire pudding & 3 very fresh & nicely-presented vegetables. The service - once you actually get to the table - is friendly, cheerful, prompt & well-coordinated. This is Chelsea, so I guess the value is perfectly fine, & the choice, of both food and drink, is admirable. I will definitely be back, although I will certainly be hoping for a warmer actual welcome next time.

We went there for diner with friends and we liked everything: warm friendly ambience and service, delicious food with a good choice of snacks and mains and great desserts. I had the halibut and it was by far the best fish I've had in a very long time, with an exquisite sauce and perfectly cooked. Also definetely good value for money.

A great pub/restaurant on New Kings Road. Brook House exudes class and tranquility. A selection of keg beers and a couple of cask ales to stop you getting thirsty. Fine service with a friendly touch. An enjoyable place for a drink and no doubt a meal (Can't comment on the latter as I did not eat).

Very nice atmosphere, food was on point. On a cautionary note perhaps not ideal with kids which doesn’t seem to be their thing.

This place is so incredibly lovely. The interior brings you to some kind of whimsical forest. First time I had the roast beef. So delicious. The Yorkshire puddings is ridiculously perfect! So much better than down the road. Second time we went for the Steak. Oh dear lordess, then these potatoes! My mouth is salivating thinking on this now!

Brook House has rightly won a national award for its front of house service. Other awards must soon follow as the description of gastro pub barely does the exceptional food justice. Everything here is of top restaurant quality and the manager Liv and all the staff create a beautifully relaxed experience because they clearly know what they are doing. Excellent. Highly recommend.

We stayed and ate for 2 nights, super tasty food, great local beers , amazing whiskey selection, and hospitable staff. Room was good with excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

Very good, but it isn't a gastro-pub; it is a restaurant with a bar and a couple of bar tables out of dozens of tables. Don't come here if you're expecting a pub or bar. This is a restaurant.

One of the best service and food ever in a gastro pub in London . Absolutely the best Sunday Roast! All the staff well trained and smiling all the time. The food absolutely tasty! I can see and taste there is a lot of job on it. I really enjoy it !! Hope to receive the same service and food all the time. Really well done , especially for someone like me that care about hospitality world.

Sunday roast not vegetarian friendly. The vegetarian 'option' was cauliflower cheese which was underdone and not very cheesy. The vegetarians on my table were also served meat gravy which we didn't realise until we checked. I had the pork which was pale, fatty and wet. Really disappointing. 2 star for the nice interior.

The food at Brook House is always delicious and original. Always look forward to coming here with great selection of wines and brilliant service. A favourite in Parsons Green.

Cozy buzzy stylish restaurant/pub. Menu is way more interesting than rest of similar in area. Friendly and efficient staff. Today had octopus with miso grilled aubergine, followed by ultra decadent macaroni cheese with walnuts and chanterelle mushrooms and side of roasted hispi cabbage with harissa. We had a booking at 6pm on a Wednesday night,it was very quiet, we sat in the middle of the main dinning room,me facing the tables close to the back of the room,next to the wall.We were so busy chatting away as I haven't seen my friend for 4years and suddenly I looked down the floor,there was a mouse running (it was more like walking than running) along the tables close to the dinning room back wall . I froze straight away as I have a phobia for mice since I was a child. Long story short, after alerting the waitress, someone else came up to me, I believe it was a manager,as she didn't introduce herself, instead of apologizing she said it has never happened before and asked me where the mouse went and that she will deal with it tomorrow 😂 I'm sorry,but I expected this sort of situation being escalated differently as we didn't feel it's safe to eat there and it ruined our evening as we kept looking at the floor all the time to check if the mouse is not there again.

We had a great evening at Brook House. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and it was brilliant to have some new dishes offered by the chef. For example I had Mallard which was super tasty!

Such an amazing Sunday roast, in such a pretty pub. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked. Somehow we made room for desserts, which were yum. We arrived quite late due to an error on our part and by some magic Marcia managed to sort us a table within 20 minutes. We were so grateful. The service throughout by Marcia was just excellent - thank you! We will be returning.

Not super impressed. Has the making of a lovely establishment. We had oysters, steak, and Irish coffee. Each course was cold as the next. The steak was good quality, as was all the food, just the attentiveness was lacking. The decor was very nice and had a nice overall atmosphere.
