Excelente experiencia inglesa. Clásico pub inglés con una comida que nos dejó impresionados. Elimina el taboo de la comida inglesa de ser sin gracia.. Super recomendado.

Disappointing. Service was top notch. Attentive but never overwhelming. The wine was excellent. The food, however, was a mixed bag. Scotch Egg and the pate starter (more pie than pate) were both very good. The main Sunday roast was a huge disappointment. The beef wasn’t a ‘roast’ but a very mediocre steak that had been sliced. The Yorkshire pudding was soggy. Carrot overcooked. Potatoes that had obviously been sitting around then re heated. On the plus side, the cabbage was superb. If it were a £20 pub lunch I’d have been disappointed. For four times that, I expected far, far better. Perhaps it was because we we there at the end of service but either way, extremely disappointed.

The Harwood Arms is truly a hidden gem, on a beautiful quiet Victorian street. The decor, the service and ambiance is outstanding. This is our 2nd visit, and again we enjoyed our dining experience. I asked for soda water with no ice - I saw the bartender fill 40% of the glass with tap water to supplement the space the ice would fill.. House gin and soda is £15. Would not recommend and wish we hadn't spent our money here. Beer, gin and a soda water totalled at £26.

This Michelin star pub was missing something..... the service was good, the food was good and clearly well thought about and seasonal. However the menu was very, very small. My table could not find a dessert that was eye catching enough to order, which was disappointing. The standout memory from our lunch was the mustard relish served with the venison scotch egg - the relish was outstanding!! ......as I say just something missing, just not quite sure what???

The only pub to receive one star in the London Michelin Guide. Sometimes I wonder, what would Harwood Arms look like if it wasn't one-star or before it got a star? It must be very charming! And the "charming" here may include a comfortable and comfortable service and atmosphere. So what about the Harwood Arms now? The service is definitely good, but the cozy and comfortable atmosphere is less certain. Before this visit, we thought it might be too crowded, so we arrived at the restaurant at around 4pm (!), and to my surprise, it was almost fully packed! Under such circumstances, I had no choice but to take a seat at the bar (which I was fine with or it's even better). After taking my seat, I observed that the manager looked quite "stressed" in such a crowded room, which must have been filled with very expectant guests. Same thing. Stress seems to be visible on some servers, but because of a minor mistake like forgetting to add my water, he was so sorry that he wanted to buy me a beer? I think without the blessing of Michelin halo, Harwood Arms might just be a delicious, popular, comfortable and beautiful pub, right? The above-mentioned murmurs disappeared as soon as they entered the roast they ordered this time, as if they had never appeared before. What kind of atmosphere? What Michelin? Because this roast deer is really amazing. Each of the classic side dishes of Sunday Roast has a charming taste on its own, and is full of flavor. It not only highlights the original taste but also seems to amplify it 10 times. The side dishes of Harwood Arms’ Sunday Roast can be paired with nothing else. The food is delicious just by eating it. But what is even more amazing is the barbecue. This barbecue is probably the most delicious barbecue I have ever eaten in my life so far. It has reached an indescribable level. Seriously, with such delicious food, who cares about anything else?

We had a lovely time at this place, and were well taken care of by our Server, Brian who shared recommendations and even told us about the famous Sunday Roast! We came here on a Saturday evening. The place was full, so definitely recommend booking reservations beforehand. Lots of groups of friends and couples. The ambience is quite rustic, nice music. Not a vast menu selection, as you'd expect from a Michelin star gastro pub! You have the option to choose between 2 and 3 course meals and some snacks. We came here for their scotch eggs! And I tell you it was divine!! It was delicious I could have had seconds. Following this I felt our dinner orders were a little weaker in comparison but the plating was beautiful 😍. Not a big fan of their dessert menu nor their starters. Of course their wine and drink selections were incredible. We ordered a dessert wine (Samos Anthemis Greek Sweet Wine) at the end to pair with our custard tart. Recommended by Brian and it was a great way to end our evening. We're definitely making another visit to Harwood Arms for their scotch eggs, Sunday roast and drinks!

I ate here 12 years ago. It was so memorable I had to go back during my first time visiting London since then. And it was even better. Than the memory. That is rare. I have never had venison as tender as wagyu beef before. I feel connected with the ‘āina, as we say in Hawaiian, through this food. A meal at Harwood Arms is akin to a ramble in the countryside, and a bit of a history lesson to boot. Chestnut soup with a surprise of chestnut mushrooms at the bottom—it made me chuckle!

Just left the restaurant 5 minutes ago. What a first Sunday roast experience by The Harwood Arms team. Everything was perfection. I did the three course meal, and my wife did the two. The venison scotch egg was phenomenal. The salad of Jerusalem and the pate were on point. The main roast courses were superb. The venison shoulder was cooked so perfectly and tender. The sirloin with horseradish was cooked medium rare just how I like it. All the sides complimented the meal so well. The apple parfait was the perfect finish. The staff and service were attentive and helpful. They made my birthday dinner a memorable one. Not sure I can ever have another restaurant’s Sunday roast because The Harwood Arms set the bar so high.

It wasn't the dining pleasure we'd hoped for. The room is not pub interesting (no real pub space either), lighting over our table too bright, the food a bit too 'plate fancy' (real veg so much nicer than the little puréed heaps, the meat tasty but the separate chunks get cold v quickly... it was not awful our evening, simply not that interesting. An expensive dinner but we knew it would be. Michelin stars we find best avoided.

We love the Harwood Arms. The food is truly delicious and usually 5 star but sadly I disliked my starter this time. The Marie rose sorbet crab meant that all I could taste was sweet ketchup rather than my favourite sweet crab meat. Everything else was delicious.

This was our second visit to Harwood Arms. Last year was in June, this time in October. Whilst the menu was quite different on our second visit--time of year of course, it was just as fabulous as the first. The wild game two or three course set menus were both wonderful. The service was fantastic, very helpful and pleasant. Ambience while gastropub, gives the feel of a hunting lodge. Fantastic experience again!! A word to the wise, however. This is very much a neighborhood place and is therefore not easily accessible via the London Underground. If you are visiting from out of town and do not have your own vehicle we recommend that you pre-order a car service for arrival and departure (dining time will be about 1.5 to 2.0 hours depending on whether you have the two course or the three course set menu with a "snack" (the venison scotch egg is a must have snack). Uber/Lyft is unreliable here as Waltham Grove is only two to three blocks long and Black Cabs are also unreliable on busy weekend nights. Regardless, we highly recommend this dining experience--we will be back a third time next year when we return to London in October.

What a nice experience we had at the Hardwood Arms, the Michelin star is for sure still well deserved! ⭐️ The restaurant is still a pub at heart so you can feel this welcoming and almost nostalgic atmosphere - but what’s truly interesting is how the food is refined yet stays true to the satisfaction you feel after eating at a pub. Each dishes we tried was thoughtfully balanced with different textures and taste, the chef really succeeded to still showcase the main ingredients through simplicity. I’d sum the whole experience up as “average”. Much nicer atmosphere and service at the Atlas around the corner. For £55 for two courses you’d expect something fairly special but it’s average average average. And if you’re going to charge £40 corkage (!!!) you should have a decent enough wine list. Which sadly is not the case here. Average again. I’d heard amazing things about the Harwood Arms a few years ago so perhaps they’ve been resting on their laurels a bit, but some kind of refresh is definitely needed.

This was our first time at the Harwood Arms and I had been trying to get a reservation for months with no success. On arrival there were plenty of empty tables so not sure why is so difficult to get in! The waiter took us over to our table and while we stood there another lady was cleaning it as the table next to it, had dropped a glass of red wine all over our table and the floor. I looked at the waiter and politely asked if we could sit at the other table next to it as this was empty and he just replied No! I found this response very rude. We eventually sat down at our table and they brought the menus - service was very slow and we had to call them over to order our drinks. We finally got our drinks and my husband was wearing a cream shirt and when he leaned into the table because the red white was not cleared up properly he got red white all on this shirt. This evening was not going to plan at all! I got up and went over to the manger to complain and explained all the details of the event and I did not want the customers next to me to know what had happened as they were having an anniversary meal and did not want the lady to feel bad about it all. The manager apologised what had happened and agreed we should of been put on another table while they cleaned this red wine up when we arrived, I sat back down and the manager came over to my husband, spoke loudly so the lady heard every thing and handed him his business card and told me that if I could get the red wine out then he would pay for the dry cleaning. The couple next to us heard every thing and she was extremely uncomfortable to the fact she left her husband in the pub to pay the bill and left. I have taken pictures of the meal and in my option the food is average, overpriced and not meeting Michelin standards anymore. The starter was heavy and this is not a pate but more like a kind of pork pie. The pub is run down, shabby, the service is terrible and the meal is all over priced. We were not even offered any thing as compensation for the shirt which was expensive and i had to soak it in cold water for days and buy stain products to get it all out. He should of at least took my husband drink off the bill. The manger should of taken our details and treated us better in the pub and call us to see if I managed to get the stains out of this shirt. This should of been handled a lot better by the manager. I am shocked this pub has a Michelin star as there are better pubs out there in London This was my first experience of this pub and definitely my last!

Harwood Arms Pub: A Memorable Celebration Dinner I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a special occasion at The Harwood Arms, and it was nothing short of spectacular. As the only Michelin-starred pub in London, my expectations were high, and they delivered on every level. Nestled in Fulham, The Harwood Arms combines the warmth and charm of a traditional English pub with the elegance of fine dining. The interior felt welcoming and cozy, with rustic wooden beams and soft lighting creating an intimate yet relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect blend of casual comfort and refined style for a celebration. Food: The highlight, of course, was the food. Known for their focus on British seasonal ingredients, especially game, The Harwood Arms delivered a dining experience that was both creative and deeply satisfying. Starters: I started with the Tartare of Chalk Stream Trout Cucumber, Horseradish and Seaweed Main Course: For the main, I chose Roast Skate Wing Hispi Cabbage, Potted Shrimp & Mussels Drinks: The wine list was extensive, featuring a wide selection of wines from both local vineyards and international producers. For those less inclined towards wine, they also offer a great range of craft beers and classic cocktails. The Harwood Arms is an ideal place for a celebration dinner. The atmosphere is inviting, the service impeccable, and the food is simply outstanding. Whether you're a fan of game or just enjoy expertly prepared seasonal British cuisine, this pub offers a dining experience that rivals many fine dining restaurants. It was a memorable evening, and I’ll undoubtedly be back for another special occasion.

Local pub vibes from the outside with a glam touch in the inside. As you arrive to The Hardwood Arms it does look like the typical residential pub, however, fear not, once you walk in you instantly realize you are in for a treat. From the service, to the decor, and of course the food (the food!). The menu is set for a two course (£55) or a three course (£70). It includes filtered water and bread with butter. There is also nibbles you can add on for a £8-£9 each. We are not very big on dessert so went for the 2 course plus nibbles. The concept is English food elevated and it will not disappoint you! Definitely recommended, specially if you are after a “different” Michelin experience.

Fabulous food. The very best roast dinner I’ve ever had in a restaurant anywhere. I’m from Yorkshire, living in London since ‘87 so I’ve tried a fair few. The service was excellent. Attentive, but we didn’t feel rushed. I’ve never been a fan of background music, but the low level Fleetwood Mac won me over. The tables weren’t packed together and there was air con which was extremely helpful because it was 28 degrees outside. Rightfully stands as the only Michelin starred pub in London. Such a delicious Sunday Roast, but so difficult to get a booking!

Epic and delicious Sunday lunch which left all of us in a food coma. Super dog friendly and accommodated six of us with our two dogs in a quiet corner of the pub with a bowl of water and venison treats. It all went down like a treat! Thank you!

Highly recommend for a Sunday Roast. Delicious food. Fantastic service. Perfectly rustic ambiance. Easily accessible from Central London via Underground. Would definitely go back.

An outstanding meal. The Venison scotch egg appetizer was outstanding, but so were the rabbit lasagne and trout tartare starters, and the pork, skate, and beef mains were wonderful too. Also an interesting and diverse wine list at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back - thank you!

Can believe it's still going strong, used to come here nearly every morning back in the early 90s,then do a shift in olympia. Fantastic, tasty breakfast then for no more than 3 or 4 quid. If you want well cooked and value grub come here! Really chuffed it's still going! They deserve it!

The fish was not well cooked and I am afraid that the condition was horrible because it was smelling rotten.
