The Swan in Hammersmith and Fulham

Came in for dinner the other day and we were served by Charlie, she was so lovely and helpful! The food and drinks were amazing, would definitely come again!

Warm place, sevice was excellent. If you are going in, ask about Charlie at firts floor, she is amazing! Try Salmon on ciabatta is delicious, thanks chef!😍💜

We arrived and went upstairs for dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful, and we loved the bar and the food. We were served by Charlie, a wonderful lady, very pleasant and professional. She gave us full information about the food and was very helpful. We'll be back during our vacation and hope to be served by Charlie. We were delighted with her service.

I stopped at this beautiful pub last night with friends and had a great experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a nice selection of ales on tap. Our server, Matt who turns out to be The Landlord was friendly and attentive, ensuring all guests in the pub were well looked after. I would definitely recommend this beautiful pub.

Love The Swan, my chicken mushroom pie was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the drinks were delicious, the upstairs was a bit quieter than the downstairs, which is nice, and the server, Fay was really personable and quick with whatever we needed! Highly recommend

I visited The Swan Pub on Friday to meet up with an old mate, and while the bar itself is lovely and the staff are amazing, our experience was ruined by an overzealous doorman. Despite being told the bar closed at 1 a.m., I stepped out briefly for food just before midnight and returned at 12:25 a.m. The doorman refused to let me back in, even after I explained that my friend was inside and I didn’t want another drink. He threatened to call the police when I tried to open the door. His aggressive behaviour really tarnished what was otherwise a great night

Good sized pub in the middle of London. Food wasn't available when I asked as it was too late. Good selection of drinks and plenty of space.

We popped in a casual Friday afternoon and ordered fish and chips and stake and ale pie. We could order food and drink via QR code. The service was fast and food was tasty ,well cooked and seasoned. The serve a good portion. We absolutely loved it. It has a good athmosphere. We paid about 45-50 póz de with drinks.

Great experience we had at this lovely pub . Amazing service provided by Radi. She was friendly and super helpful with us for the whole time we were there. What a joy. The food was delicious and nicely served. Definitely worth a visit, definitely will revisit soon.

The Swan is a nice pub with good beer and typical pub food. We had an attentive, nice waitress. The food was ok. When I was paying, a colleague who I asked for the service tip cashed in on me. Our bill was 32.44 pounds according to the receipt. Unfortunately, the employee told me I was free to decide and if I went to zero then you wouldn't get a service flat rate... I then guessed 10% because I thought that would be fair! What I unfortunately didn't know was that these ten percent would then be added on top, which in this case meant that instead of 32.44 pounds I had a total flat rate of over 70 pounds and my bill went from 356 pounds to 394 pounds. I find this behavior very outrageous and unfortunately it destroyed this beautiful atmosphere in retrospect! So be careful, dear tourists, when paying at the end...

Busy and atmospheric but not too busy. Got served right away although the guy behind the bar was very surprised at being asked for large white wines and proceeded to explain how much liquid was in them! He seemed worried that 2 middle aged women might have too much to drink! God forbid. Anyway, I guess it is good that a bar takes responsibility and care for how much patrons drink. We were only stopping for one. Inside is decorated tastefully and is a typical old fashioned but classy establishment. Would definitely return if in the area, but the toilets were rank and the smell of urine emanating from the men's as we passed was overpowering.

Went to the pub for a quick beer after a show at Eventim Apollo, but ended up spending a couple of hours. Incredible atmosphere. Can’t wait to drop by again.

Delicious meal and lovely atmosphere! The Mushroom, Red Wine, and Tarragon Suet Pie was to die for and Angus was wonderful all evening. I would highly recommend!

Visited with my work colleague at the weekend for a few drinks, friendly bar staff and doorman opening the door for us upon entry, lovely interior and a great vibe about the place. Definitely will try visit more often as we work nearby.

Absolutely appalled by the behaviour of the staff in the swam. I had a member staff (brown long hair, looked like and utter scruff) refuse me a drink due to a skin condition. Then allow me after I prove it to them I have a problem. I left immediately. I have never In my life been refused a drink due to this. Absolutely distraught by this behaviour. Will not be coming back.

Great choice for a quick evening fish and chips dinner - I was in London for business and this was a quick walk from the hotel. Food was tasty as was the beer! Would be happy to stop in if I'm in the area a again.

Came in before the show, what a great venue for both food and drinks. Staff was very attentive and polite. Ended up coming in after the show and they had the after party on!! Seen they do live music, next time I’ll be in then! Definitely recommend

One of my favourite gastro pubs in this part of London (if not the most favourite one). Greatly created menu. Some stuff (like sandwiches) are great choice for a quick lunch. Good selection of beer, like for a pub wide selection of spirits. Good price for those having wine - I recommend rose wines. Like most of the Nicholson’s great atmosphere of British pub culture with a good and consistent selection of food and bites.

I got a fish and chips and a beer there. In the main room the vibe was great, upstairs much more quiet. The service was nice. The fish was correct but not awesome. Good place.

Ordered a vegan breakfast and was given a sausage sandwich. Not impressed. Updating my review to reply, the only way it was “resolved straight away” was because we were in a rush and left. It was explained to us that you didn’t even have a vegan breakfast aside from something avocado

Accidental find for a quick pre show meal. This place has bloody brilliant pies and some top quality beers. I'd be a regular if I lived closer.

Great quick service and good atmosphere

What a terrific pub! I visited with a group of high school students from the USA in February 2025, and finding a place to eat that can accommodate us and is budget-friendly is extremely difficult. Hands down, the Swan is the BEST restaurant we've ever dined over 10 student trips. Terrific food, a wonderful upstairs room, fantastic food, and staff that was friendly, flexible, and welcoming. Cannot say enough excellent things about our visit.

Very welcoming place. Very good fish and chips, also very good pies and burgers. I also recommend it as a sports bar as there is always a game on TV.

I came in on a sports night, and the pub was full with no tables available at the bar. The staff directed us to have dinner upstairs, and it turned out to be a great experience. The upstairs area is a lovely spot. Don’t be fooled if the pub looks busy from the outside; they have an amazing dining room upstairs with table service.

We drank several cocktails, beers and ate something, some nachos and a mixture of chicken, croquettes, cheese sticks and padrón peppers with sauces. The food is a bit expensive but good cocktails and a good atmosphere.

Amazing customer service I had the pleasure of being served by Ben during my recent visit to the pub, and I have to say, he made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, Ben was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we felt right at home. He took the time to explain the specials and recommend drinks, and his friendly banter added a fun vibe to the whole evening. It’s clear that Ben genuinely enjoys his work, and his positive energy was contagious. It’s rare to see such top-notch service with a personal touch – I’ll definitely be back, and I hope Ben’s working the next time I visit!

When to this amazing pub to watch the football. Amazing place, good place to have a drink and amazing service from a waiter named Ben. Really good place and I will come back to have more entertaining nights. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is a cosy little boozer between the two stations. It has a warm friendly atmosphere and feels like a real old school pub.

I’ve been there for my first time and I had really nice experience. Food,drinks and service was great from the beginning to the end of the meal,some places they just put attention on the beginning and forget the end. Very polite staff,friendly positive and with experience you can see once you arrived. Definitely I’ll be back for another great experience.

Food is quick, hot and very tasty. Typical British menu with fish and chips and as many pies as it possibly can be. Portion is a killer, plenty of food to keep me going for sure. Nice tables outside to chill out and enjoy life passing by

No one to welcome you and show you a table, for lunch or a drink? Now you scan and pay for your meal in advance. It is delivered to your table very quickly! Don't ask questions, there's no one to answer them! On the other hand, as much as I didn't like the small round table where you can't put your coat down because you're sitting on a stool, I loved their fish and chips!!! Really Excellent!

The pub offers lots of great spaces including a function room for larger parties. Beer was excellent so was our food, compliments to the team! Great venue with lots of cosy spots to relax and enjoy the time with your friends and watch the world go by.

I’ve been here just for a drink but ended up having food as well since I enjoyed the vibe. I had one of the best beef shin pies I have had in a while. I will definitely come back.
