55 Restaurant @ Chelsea Football Club in Hammersmith and Fulham

The sole purpose of writing this review is to commend the staff. My brother and i were staying in the Millennium And Copthorne Hotels At Chelsea Football Club. We both had been to a local clinic for a surgical procedure and could not leave our hotel room to go for food etc so relayed on the hotel staff to bring items to the room. Both me and my brother would like to extremely commend MANASVI. The reason for this was each time i called she totally understood our situation and she always went above and beyond for us, her friendly and professional approach in my opinion is a true asset to your business. So thank you again Manasvi for your care and compassion during our stay you made it great! I would also like to mention Kane on reception he was also a very kind guy who was ever so helpful during our check in so thanks to him too!

Went for hospitality a set menu, so a limited choice, but all food was very good. Service was excellent, especially with so many people. Highly recommended

Choose the hotel particularly as it had a restaurant where it appeared you could get a decent meal, not fast food. Restaurant only does breakfast.

We went to 2 Chelsea Hospitality dinners here before the games. Wait staff and food was great! Had a great meal and great service both times!

Visiting the UK from America in order to attend a Chelsea match, we used the Blues Dining package offered by AMEX Concierge. We weren't sure what the restaurant would be like, but were VERY pleasantly surprised to find the the meal was very good good––with ample choices and delicious presentation. But what made the meal special was the attentive and warm nature of the dining service team assigned to our seating area. I cannot thank them enough for their kind service. It's obvious that management has cultivated a culture that allows the staff to be relaxed as well as attentive––attributes that make the dining experience memorable . Well done!

We stayed at the Millennium and breakfast was served at this restaurant, which is located inside the Copthorne Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice and clean location. Wide choice at the buffet, sweet and savory, all excellent and very fresh. The carafe of coffee and/or hot tea was included in the breakfast, the espresso and cappuccino are paid (£3.00 for the espresso and £3.50 for the cappuccino).

Great location, especially if your a football fan. Hotel very modern. Staff are friendly and the hotel was spotless.

Our weekend stay was made very comfortable by friendly staff and a clean well kept room. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and a well stocked hot beverage selection in the room, perfect after a long day in London.

Great location in Chelsea. 5 minute walk to the Underground and a 30 second walk to the gates of Chelsea Football Club Stadium. Rooms and facilities are in good shape and staff is helpful.

We had a great service and pleasant buffet style breakfast on Saturday before the game, the staffs show us a lot of attention and friendlyness.

We were staying at the Millennium Hotel next door for an anniversary celebration and bought a breakfast voucher for £12.50 each - really nice selection of fruit, pastries and cooked options, fruit juices, plus limitless tea and coffee - feel it would be difficult to match the value if eating at nearby pubs which do brunch, for instance, because you would need to purchase both food and drink options. The only thing to consider is that the breakfast is only served until 10 am (this was on a Saturday). Friendly service from staff, too.

Pas pratique lorsqu'on voyage en gros groupe et que notre temps de déjeuner est compté. Le déjeuner est une formule buffet avec une bonne variété. Malheureusement, le plat contenant une préparation crémeuse à base d'oeufs est un désastre, on ne goûte pas les oeufs heureusement il y a d'autres sources de protéines. Le porridge est également particulier, il s'agit de riz chaud. Nous avons également eu un souper de groupe déjà pré-établi, avec une cuisse de poulet pas très bien cuite. Malheureusement la cuisine est ordinaire et manque d'inspiration. Le service est efficace et courtois. Parcontre, j'ai été témoin de serveurs un peu arrogants envers des gens qui avaient des demandes spéciales. Je logerais à l'hôtel encore mais pour une belle expérience culinaire, je prendrais mes repas aux alentours, il y a beaucoup de choix de restaurants, à très bons prix.

Restaurację odwiedziłem jeden raz - jadłem tam (za dużo powiedziane) śniadanie. Nic normalnego do jedzenia - tylko tłuste, ochydne, brytyjskie jedzenie. Pomidor, ogórek, sałata? Nie ma szans! Śniadanie kosztuje 18 funtów jeśli zapomnimy zamówić dzień wcześniej. Kawa i jajecznica na zamówienie. Obsługa uwija się jak w ukropie - stolik obok ktoś skończył? Wytrzepmy serwetkę, poduszkę i co się jeszcze da sąsiadom do posiłków.

A vast choice available for breakfast with a great choice of fresh fruit and cereals. The hot food was very fresh although the bacon was very under cooked. Exceptional team of staff working here too.

We stayed at the millennium hotel and had breakfast here. The selection was the typical hotel mix of continental and cooked items. The quality of the food was average at best. I ordered poached eggs because the fried eggs on offer were very overcooked. The poached eggs were fine. The bacon was too fatty. The sausages were OK but a bit tasteless. Had the breakfast not been included in the room price I would have been annoyed to pay the asking price given the quantity of and quality of other establishments locally.

being chelsea football club restaurant and you can guess its over priced but food is good and service is good would i choose this if i had others to choose from proberly not but when your staying at the chelsea hotel its easy than going miles to find another restaurant .

We ate here as a party of 12 after a Chelsea game, we were stopping in the Copthorne. The food was not wonderful, a few choices from a narrow menu and it was ok but frankly we did not expect gourmet food in a set menu place. Food rather dry. Will probably use Marcos next time. Service was very good but food needs improvement.

I went with my class for six nights, three all at once and the other three after a week. I ate really good and the hospitality was great. However the second time I arrived, as we were a big group we always dined at the hotel, there were rats in the dinning room. The server told us it was a regular thing every time after there was a match at the Chelsea stadium, literally 20 meters away from the hotel. It could have risked our health and sanitary. They had us sat at the same dinning room the second night where another rat appeared. I was disgusted and rushed out of there to talk with the manager. They where unethical, responded to the crisis horribly and offered us no response but will fix it tomorrow. Pathetic. Simply disgusted. We stayed in the Millennium hotel and paid 12 pound per person per day for the breakfast buffet . The variety of food is okay . I do not agree to pay extra 3 pound to get an omelet with not that extra . The breakfast timing should extend to 11 am especially in summer because the day is too long

Really enjoyed the food and the service until the mains were served. Unfortunately, after the mains there was hardly any service. Would have loved to have stayed back and ordered more.

The Breakfast venue for the hotel as well as a dinning venue. Breakfast was excellent with attentive staff. Food served buffet style, all items fresh and hot.

As far as breakfast buffets go this was good. Nothing spectacular but with enough items that I didn't end up eating the same thing there every morning for the three nights spent here.I don't know about value for money as I booked an inclusive package.Staff were efficient and we didn't have to wait too long to be seated.

The staff could not have been more attentive, both at breakfast and evening meal. There was a great choice of meals & I cannot think of anything else they could provide with the breakfast.

Can’t comment on any other dining experience as I only used this place for breakfast.All I can say is abysmal!! Whilst I accepted that this was an extremely busy morning, the standard of food was some of the worst that I have come across.Grey scrambled eggs, dried out and extremely tough bacon, luke warm Tomatoes and beans, a toaster that only toasted one side… really could go on but is it going to make any difference. I assume not!!One positive... waiting staff are very efficient and attentive!!

We use to take at least 2 home game match packegse per football season.Three Course dinner or lunch are included in this type of football packages. It is always very good food, good wine of friendly service. We had a lunch on October 31 (after the game) .Our waiter was Rocon. Very friendly and profesional service! We recently stayed on a Match Day Package for a 60th Birthday Celebration. in the Millennium Hotel with other Family Members staying in the Copthorne. We had Dinner together on the Saturday Evening which was excellent!!! Food & Service was great for both Dinner & Breakfast next morning. A lovely touch as we left the Restaurant after Dinner a member of staff presented my partner with a Birthday Card signed by the Chelsea Players with a little gift of chocolates!!!! Made his day !!! Thank You .

Had breakfast here once, £12.95 per person, never again. Staff were completely out of their depth. We had bought 2 vouchers for breakfast plus had our parents joining who had breakfast included in their room rate. We got there first handed our vouchers in and were taken to our table. Shortly after our parents arrived and I went to get them go our table and to assist as they don't speak English. We gave the girl their room number, reply was, I've got only 2 people in this room. It took a couple of minutes to explain to her that I already gave her our vouchers and that we had already been seated. The same girl asked me for my room number again when I came back from the toilet later?????? Now to the food - one of the smallest low quality buffets I've seen in a long time. Items took a long time to be refilled, plates were cleared from the tables very slowly or not at all. Selection and quality of food items offered was of very low quality. Breakfast was better down the road for £4.90. Unless you are unlucky enough to have it included in you room rate, don't bother.

Great food, service very efficient and speedy as matchday weekends it is very busy - we were unable to change the time of our table so had to eat earlier than we'd have liked. The staff however were great, very friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed a very pleasant meal.

bar 55 restaurant inside the hotel so it was down in the lift and you were at bar 55.The breakfast was a buffet style,there was plenty of choices for everyone.Staff very polite and helpful and seating very comfortable.

Meal was average but I was annoyed at the sound of the TV screens which were showing a recording of a Chelsea friendly. It was too loud that you had to shout to hear each other.

We stayed at the hotel and in the morning had breakfast..Breakfast options were good, nicely cooked bacon, sausages, and all the usual stuff.. my only dislike was the scrambled egg, it was DISGUSTING and came out sloppy and runny more like a liquid porridge..it tasted as bad as it looked.... I noticed later on people were getting poached eggs so it may be possible to order different choices...Coffee was good and the atmosphere was relaxed although quite busy and noisy....we had a problem with payment as they added the cost to our bill even though we had paid for a breakfast voucher...this took a lot of effort to get resolved..

Need to book a table or you might stay outside...It's a normal buffet and a bit expensive. The food is just OK.The best part is that you can find football legends there...that happened to me. I had a chance to meet and chat with Roy Bentley the Chealsea Football Club captain of 1954/55 (the first premiership tittle) with the respectfull age of 90 years old.

Had evening meal and breakfast here as part of a Chelsea game hospitality stay. The staff were really attentive on both occasions, ensuring we had everything we needed. The evening meal was really tasty and plentiful - would go here for a meal if we lived closer. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, including full English and continental with toast, meats and cheeses. Would definitely dine here again and recommend.

I was lucky enough to get a hospitality package for the recent Liverpool match at Stamford Bridge while visiting London and it included a very fine 3 course lunch at this hotel/restaurant. I admit I wasn't expecting much but it was truly a great meal. I had a duck breast salad and a chicken and leak pie with desert and wine and the quality of the food was really excellent. I was happily surprised. In addition the staff and the service was friendly, polite and very efficient. I'd eat here even if it weren't match day. I had some very good restaurant meals in London and this was right up there with the best of them. Well Done !

Great variety to choose from, all of a high standard and well worth the money. Staff were bright and alert even though it was only 6.30am and were genuinely happy to serve.

The chances are you are staying at the hotel, and although there are restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, the '55' (the first year Chelsea won the league title) is convenient.The decor is nothing to rave about and there is more atmosphere in outer space. It's a hotel dining room used for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but there is no shortage of waiting staff and we had an enthusiastic and professional restaurant manager to make sure our needs were met. The service was friendly and efficient, even for our group of 13, and they even offered alternatives to the main courses on the menu to cater for the teenage boys in our party. Lamb steaks or cheeseburgers and fries? No prizes for guessing which they chose.The choice of beers was disappointing..just bottled Singha, presumably because the team sponsor won't allow anything else. The soup tasted fresh and homemade and the main courses and desserts were equally flavorsome. I wouldn't eat here every night, but if you can't face the walk, the '55' is more than just a last resort.
