An attractive and tastefully decorated pub. Comfortable seating and a fine choice of drinks.An excellent outside area.I'm not sure if it was inexperienced staff or staff training but the person who served was pretty much out of their depth with a simple order or maybe they were intimidated by their curt bar manager. Not the cheapest in the area but one of most attractive.

Great place for a pint. Clientel and staff were friendly. The odd beggar entering to ask for money and food was a bit embarrassing.

A great pub, The Hammersmith Ram offers everything we come to expect from a Young's outlet. The Ram is not far from Hammersmith underground station, cross the road and head west along King Street. A great offering of keg beers and ciders along with a couple of Young's ales in the cask. Wonderful people behind the bar and overall a simple, honest, welcoming and delightful place to visit.

Pleasant enough pub, nothing particularly special, other than bring a quiet oasis in Hammersmith. Blown away about the quality of the (small plates) food. Superb. So much better than it needed to be. Definitely returning to try some of the main courses.

This pub has had a major upgrade in seating, furnishings and approach to customer comfort. When l used to go here over 6 yrs ago you were lucky if you could grab a seat anywhere at busy times. The sofas used to sag and there wasn't a cushion or blanket in sight. Now there's a tasteful flow of two and three seater low tables, high tables with chesterfield benches either side and robust sofa areas at the back of the bar near the rest rooms. Joy of joys the approach to those is also homely with no horrible smells emerging from them. The whole pub feels entirely different, positively cosy. There are lamps, prints and interesting signs which soften the stripped brickwork. ....always a pleasant change from the usual flock wallpaper and brass ware that still adorns most Chiswick pubs. Hammersmith is going up market. About time too. This local establishment that has it's own set of regulars should attract new custom if it continues to create this kind of ambience. They do need to clear their outside tables though as often as they do the ones inside.

Lovely cosy clean pub with good quality food throughout the day. Like so many pubs in London, it's more comfortable for coffee and work during the day than the nearby Starbucks is.

Amazing place, very easy to get to. Friendly and awesome staff and brilliant service. Not from London so it was refreshing to see the super friendly people managing this place.

We had a drink earlier in the day and came back later that night as the bar was in a good location. We found the staff great and the food looked good, We returned that night about 6 and we luckily got a table after people left. We did order food and had a few issues but that was sorted. The bar staff were very professional but very friendly and we loved the place. Thank you to the bar person who Sorted the issue we had. We are coming back to London May and we'll def visit. I went on a Friday evening and surprisingly, it was quiet. In contrast, the nearby pubs were all full. Ordered food and was good. Service was good too.

Slowly going off . Used to love this place, but the last two occasions I've eaten in there the food has been cold at best tepid, really don't understand how you can serve food that's not hot when it arrives to the table. Very disappointed and will think twice about eating in your venue again.

Had a really good lunch with friends here today. Drinks are reasonably priced. We ordered a wide range of meals an everything was excellent, especially the roasts.

We had the most wonderful evening, as always. Absolutely love the Ram the gorgeous team who maintain such a lovely, warm atmosphere.

Very nice, clean, wood panelled pub, with a great choice of beers. Has a nice little garden as well. Haven't eaten here, but enjoyed a couple of pints.

A modern, clean and cosy pub with decent sound system (great playlist too). My partner and I were wondering around. Thought the pub exterior looked nice so we went in. What a gem it is! We had cocktails, fish & chip, and toffee pudding - none of them disappointed. Hammersmith Ram will be our go-to pub in the area for the foreseeable future 🥃

Mainly been there to meet friends, have a coffee, or a beer, and just by myself to chill, do some research on the laptop , or enjoy my own company and not being bothered. Lovely place to hang out and enjoy the time, as much as for yourself as with friends. Great location, cosy environment and place, and good customer service.

It’s a shame I have to write this as the staff/servers were lovely but I think people should know. I booked to have my Christmas dinner here on Christmas Day. It was £90 per person so was expecting a good quality meal. However when my starters plate was taken away there was a dead baby cockroach on the table! The vegetables on my main meal was cold (not even luke warm), it was sent back and came back with the meat just warmed up. It was sent back again and came back boiling. With it being nuked so much, it made my meat hard and dry. Very little gravy on the plate and had to ask twice for cranberry sauce. I couldn’t eat it. I actually cried and the server asked if I was ok? I said I was upset that I had to complain several times but I paid £90 for my meal and I couldn't go home and cook myself a Xmas dinner now.it was such a shame :( The manager (who didn’t come to apologise to us) gave us staff discount but I should have not had to pay for mine. I was looking forward to eating out and not having to cook this year but I will be cooking my own again next year. I certainly won’t be eating there again.

This is the 2nd year I have booked for a Christmas Lunch for myself and 6 colleagues. From start to finish everything was excellent, the waiting staff were brilliant, accommodating a change to the order. The food well I don't think there are enough stars absolutely brilliant and so much of it. Thank you Hammersmith Ram for making our Christmas lunch so special

Menu is limited and rather pretentious. No comfort food and can no longer get something simple like chips to share with a pint!

We had the table booked from 13:30 to 15:30 but stayed much longer! And they didn’t put any pressure on us to leave. Of course, if they’d needed the table, we would have given it up. The staff were friendly and the service was very good, as was the food. The pub has a nice atmosphere too. I would definitely recommend it!

After me, my wife and my baby son with our mothers walked round the Christmas market we decided to go to the Ram for couple small plates, the pub was very busy and we were lucky to get a table. We were greeted with smiles from everyone who was working. I could tell that they were very busy but nothing seemed like it was too much trouble for them. We ordered a couple of sausage rolls, the scotch egg, mushroom pate and coupe bowls of chips. Everyone enjoyed their plate, I had the sausage roll and it was incredible! The gentleman who served made its look effortless and was funny (he had my 8 month old laughing too) Were definitely be back and being from the area we’re be bringing more relatives when they visit!

We go there every time we go to the Hammersmith Apollo for a gig nice food good beer and music over the pa .

What a wonderful place! I sat by the fireplace and had the chalk steamed trout. It was beyond delicious. Super friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. Will absolutely be coming again

I fancied a Sunday roast so I pop in and ordered the roast beef. The food was good but was let down by not having any mustard and also no Yorkshire pudding came with the dinner. Also found it too pricy for what it’s worth.

Visited for a late lunch prior to going to the Cliff concert. Comfortable surroundings and Staff friendly. We both had the Bavette steak which was tasty and tender. One small disappointment; there was no brown sauce to go on my chips although ketchup and mayonnaise was available. Our visit was a pleasant experience and if in the area, would visit again.

One of my favourite pubs in Hammersmith. Never tried the food, but service is good and the atmosphere very pleasant. Comfortable seating and lovely decor too.

Visited with a group of friends, nice pub good selection of beer,but no Young's special bitter and Ramrod in the chiller. Come on get back to basics this is after all a Young's pub.

We rolled in here pretty much right off a flight before last orders and Ryan couldn’t have been more accommodating. The kitchen was but the beer was tasty and his friendliness was a great way to wrap up our travel day before bed.

Went in for a preconcert meal and drinks, a few staff members stood out and interacted with us and made the visit very pleasant. A few staff members didn't seem to understand this concept. Great pub, very old with amazing features. The window glass is even original. You'll see what I mean when you visit

Visited on a Tuesday morning with my boyfriend & had a really great breakfast after wondering around trying to find somewhere decent for a while! Would recommend the Ham Ram Breakfast & Breakfast Brioche - hashbrowns are gorgeous! Pub was very quiet, however, good ambience with nice music! Service was good, really attentive & friendly - great effort from Ryan, thanks so much!

In London for the weekend and staying in Hammersmith. All the places we passed were heaving with football and rugby crowds then we stumbled on The Hammersmith Ram. What a great find. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff and good food. I really enjoyed my handmade burger, it was really tasty and filling, but I seriously coveted my OH's Bavette steak. He allowed me a piece and WOW. Happily recommended 👌

What a great little countryside pub located in the heart of Hammersmith. Complete with a real log fire to keep you warm. Very friendly welcoming staff with a huge range of draft beers and lagars on top plus some wicked flavoured sports. The Sunday roast is a must try Check them out this winter

I love this pub and the staff is very Frank and helpful. I love many things here but i specially like the food, which is so delicious. I tried roast pork at different places but here it's different from others and too tasty. The chef's are good and experienced according to the food taste and presentation. I recommend this pub to everyone who so ever is in or near by the Hammersmith. I hope to visit there again and I'll upload some pics as well.

Just been refurbished and it's so nice now!! Great use of space with the private room at the back now gone, cool new bench seating which makes it feel like a booth, new front doors to keep the heat in and cute little garden upgrade with some fake lawn and new furniture! Well done guys, we like it!!

I have never asked for my money back for a pint before, but this experience was shocking. Popped in for a beer whilst waiting for a friend. First pint of Special, cloudy with nasty metallic taste. Disinterested staff offered replacement with standard bitter. Had to ask for the change for this cheaper alternative. Had one sip and realized my glass was filthy, dark brown stains, possibly unwashed. No apology, lousy service, never going back. A disgrace of a Young's pub.

If i could i would give this place 100/10, the service is very nice and friendly. The food seemed a bit pricey at first for a German visiting the UK for the first time but all in all everything was extremly tasty and in my opinion even more worth than what they asked for

This was my first time in The Hammersmith Ram and I really enjoyed it. The place is well kept and clean, the staff were very friendly and efficient and the food taste and they have a good variety of beers. I recommend to go there if you are around!

I went there to have a drink with a friend. The service was friendly and the Pub is lovely. Nice comfy armchairs and sofas, tables for big groups and an outdoor area on the side and at front. I would recommend and I will return another time for a drink if I am in the Hammersmith area.

I visited the hammersmith ram with a few friends to enjoy some drinks. The ambiance was just right... not overly crowded & not too quiet either. We found a comfortable corner to relax and enjoy our drinks. We didn't try much of the food as we wernt overly hungery but we did love the truffle and parmesan fries!! We were served by Kyle, Lilly and Ryan who proved to be incredibly friendly We will definely be visting again

Went in and there was no greeting from any of the staffs. The table that we booked wasn't ready despite no people on the restaurant. The staffs either forgot to clean the table or can't bother to clean it. After she cleaned it she just left us without no further explanation. She then went back to the bar and begin chatting away with her colleagues. Yes that's right. All of them were busy chatting and not attending properly to their customers. Finally, i went to the bar to order and this guy name 'ryan' i think just completely IGNORED and left me. Then this lady staff had to take my order. The food was mediocre. Honestly I would not come back or recommend this restaurant.

Received an email regarding Paloma week and Roast Monday for bank holiday so downloaded app and got code for free paloma and booked a table for 4 for the Monday Roast. When we got there we were told the Paloma deal had stopped and that there was no roast as they had been busy on Sunday and run out ?? Very disappointed with the half hearted apologies for the pubs inadequacies as to above cancellation of both things we made booking for, not even an offer of a Paloma for our disappointment. Poor customer service, the pub was not even busy so maybe if we had been offered this we may have stayed to eat !!

I stopped in Hammersmith ahead of the London marathon and spent a long time trawling trip advisor for a suitable place to eat the night before. The Ram got the nod and was excellent. Good choice of well cooked food, good service, a nice ambience. We even went back the following night after the race for a Sunday dinner. No complaints. A good pick. Would recommend.

Greed is my opinion. 4 of us were drinking. Each round cost about £30. Went back to the bar to have a splash of lemonade ( no more that 50ml ), to be added to my already paid for drink to be told the cost is £1.55 ! The bar staff would not do it for free ( not that I want something for nothing ) but they were not clear on the rules. I asked to see the manager, who did not appear. As a pub wanting to get customers in I think based on how much we were spending, it would have been nice just add the very small amount as a good will gesture. I frequent Hammersmith regularly but will not return due to the greed and military way of doing things. Most pubs I go to, due the such small amount of dash in my drink, do not charge me as they feel unjust to charge such a large amount for such a small portion. It is a matter of principle I will not return. We left after this incident but would of stayed for another couple. So the pub lost £60....and our custom.

Good food, lovely atmosphere, and the drinks are easy to get. Selection of bottled beer could be larger, but personally a big fan of dura damn. Had a selection of the starters this evening and every item ordered was fantastic. Recommend the ox croquettes.
