The best restaurants serving British food in City of London, Westminster London

Desayunamos ya que estábamos alojados en el Cumberland. Bastante buena selección de artículos considerando que es Europa (no se puede comparar con ciudades del este de Asia). De alguna manera, la persona que hacía las tortillas nos estaba sirviendo una porción más pequeña: una especie de cuchara para medir el huevo líquido, usaba la mitad de la medida para nosotros, pero se la daba a los demás. Esto sucedió los tres días que desayunamos allí, así que no puede ser una coincidencia.

Good location, large pub, good service, beautiful interior, clean. This pub does not serve Peroni beer on draft. I have discovered beer 1536 which was rather good.

A bit grubby and some staff rude☹️ We came to London for our 25th Anniversary, we were travelling down from the North during the night and arriving Monday morning. We purposefully booked and paid for the Sunday night as well so that we could come straight off the coach on Monday, have breakfast, and go to bed for a few hours before seeing the sights. I had spent a few months emailing the team to ensure our room was ready and it was not given away (there policy is to give the room away if you don't show up by 5am). During several emails, I was reassured that all I had to do was call the hotel the day before and check in over the phone, which I did. I spoke with a girl (you know who you are and so does your manager) who was very rude, all she kept saying is 'I can't help you and I can not keep your room, I do not have time to help you I have other people waiting'. I then tried to explain that I had been emailing and have written proof that I was able to call ahead and check in and that there were notes on the system. It wasn't until I said this that she said she would ask her manager but kept insisting that she couldn't help and could not confirm. To be honest, I was really worried about travelling to London anyway because we are not used to city life, we are from the rural North. This one conversation alone tipped me over the edge, and already my trip to London had started on a sour note 😔 To gain reassurance, I contacted Premier Inn again via email like I had done previously, and the lovely manager Maria apologised for the inconvenience and confirmed we were checked in and the room would be ready on our arrival the next morning. On arrival, no one knew about it, and we had to wait half an hour at reception for someone to sort everything out 😒 Rooms were dated with mould in the shower, I've stayed in much better Premier Inns previously, much cleaner, and much more professional. We had breakfast on arrival, which was freezing cold. However, we did eat in the restaurant on the night, which was quite nice. The girl who served us never smiled until the end though when she realised we had left her a decent tip, we didn't get great service but I feel sorry for anyone who has to pay big city cost of living prices on minimum wage. Would I stay there again, no! The only reason I have given an average review as opposed to a poor review was because of the new starter who was working Monday morning (he didn't have a name badge and said he had only been there a few day-he was great) and Maria who provided reassurance. Plus, it was close to Victoria Station, I'm a little disheartened because my history with Premier Inn has been very positive. It's such a shame 😞

What a great, proper, local pub in the heart of the West End. Independent brewery, reasonably priced, high-spirited clientele, super-friendly and cheerful staff. I WILL be back….

Delicioso gluten: té vegetariano gratuito por la tarde con champán en la calle Ermin's Tea Lounge, personal atento y un ambiente encantador y cómodo. Un verdadero placer para un celiaco (es decir, alguien que tiene que seguir una dieta estricta de gluten - libre) . Gracias por cuidarnos tan bien.

Gran lugar y comida para la noche de la cena. Durante nuestra estancia en Danubius Hotel Fuimos al restaurante un par de veces y donde nos atendió la Sra. Kelly que era muy acogedor y amable pero profesional. Le doy la comida y el servicio 5 estrellas sin ninguna duda y espero que siempre visitaré con la familia y amigos.

They just reopened after closing for a while. It’s quiet a nice pub, the food is, nothing special. Good selection of drinks. Just up the red from portobello market

Premios de sostenibilidad de Footprint Drinks 2019 Comida simplemente magnífica y no solo entre las mejores que he probado, sino a gran escala en una cena de premiación por aprox. 120 invitados, ¡un logro increíble! Cada plato estaba lleno de sabor, exquisitamente construido con sabores brillantemente equilibrados. ¡La presentación de cada plato fue hermosa! ¡Todos con los que hablé pensaron que era increíble! Over priced wine and food. Food quantities and quality were poor - I didn't think London restaurants could get away with this.

Literally the best place to for lunch to go in the City. The freshest and tastiest options with an amazing selection of choices. The staff are really helpful and friendly and it feels really nice to eat a freshly made up sandwich, wrap or salad. Nothing else compares around here. My favourite is the chipotle chicken sourdough. Yum. Highly recommended.

The recent review of The Corner Cafe & Deli left by a certain "Harry B" fills me with total dismay, I can not believe that a local of Barnes could condem one of Barnes oldest cafes, especailly when times are tough for so many of our small family run buisneses. The Corner Cafe has been in Barnes for as long as I have and I find it a warm, friendly place with unbelievable food. It has had the same regulars for many years and the charming owner, Anita, makes a point of coming up to greet her regulars whenever they come in. It is shocking that anyone could wish ill of such a local favourite and I sincerely hope that such a pettyworld view comes back to bite you "Harry B"! Until then, I highly recommend The Corner Cafe and hope it goes nowhere or I will be lost without my Power breakfast fix.

I used to really enjoy coming here it always felt special... However whilst the food is still passable - it is now served on a small plate that wobbles and bangs in the table unless you cut your food in the exact centre of the plate and with cutlery made for a child - not up to cutting through sour dough toast! I very politely suggested on a previous visit that changing the plate for a larger more stable one would be a much nicer experience...it has gone from feeling special to feeling cheap....

Después de gastar más de 350. 00 en comida y bebida ordené una ronda de 15 bombas J a un costo de 40. 00 Regresé al bar 5 minutos más tarde y pedí una botella de cerveza y una Coca-Cola a la que me dijeron que lo siento señor, solo podemos servirle la Coca-Cola ya que ha bebido demasiado, ya que yo era el conductor del mini bus de la noche Traté de explicarle esto al supervisor del bar, pero ella no quiso saber nada, le pregunté su nombre pero ella rechazó todo lo que puedo decir, era una joven negra a la que le daría una calificación de 0/10 Nunca más volveré a este lugar

Tuvimos una comida familiar muy agradable y relajada aquí, la camarera fue servicial y amable. El budín de pan y mantequilla era realmente sabroso!
