Magnifica selección. Un pequeño pub que se llena mucho. Hay un pequeño jardín en la parte de atrás, pero la atracción principal es la artesanía ale y sidra

We had a big table, and they accommodated us really nicely. The roast lamb was delicious, cooked beautifully. In an expensive area, somewhere that offers a great roast for £18 and a nice interior to hang out in is a hidden gem. £5 pints is a touch as well

Mal servicio gestión poco amable. A altas horas de la tarde durante la fiesta de York Rise el 8 de septiembre, la dirección no estuvo de acuerdo. En el futuro llevaré mi negocio a otra parte. Under new management from the same people as the Red Lion. Lovely and spacious, friendly staff and very welcoming to our little one. Had beautiful roast beef and pork and a delicious stick toffee pudding. Other food also looked great. Definitely recommend!

Overpriced for the food. Great atmosphere.

Chaotic serving area though staff were doing a fair job. Wanted to order some of the nice looking cake but it was displayed unprotected just inches from the faces of queuing customers so wasn't going to take the risk with COVID and colds about!
