The best restaurants serving British food in High Barnet Barnet London

This is an amazing cafe. So much choice of food from egg on toast to steak and chips. Very good value and no London high pricing here. Highly recommended for quality of service. Very good coffee too.

Stayed a few nights. Rooms are tired and outdated! Tv didn’t work due to terrible reception. Not a warm and fuzzy place! Okay at a pinch if you can’t find anything else! No one to talk to if you need anything!! Access to room awkward with suitcases!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this Hotel

Service was good, waitress very sweet. Food was awful. Toilets dirty. Got a glimpse of the kitchen which also needed a good clean! Got there at 7 having booked a table to be told that last food orders were at 7.30. Also they ran out of loads of things..for example pizza, lemons, chicken wings..etc..

I first visited this pub in 1967 and I'm pleased to see it's still thriving.

Not bad, looks recently refurbished, good selection of drinks, clean. Plenty of space and seating available, went on a Friday was hilarious, seems like local bar full of friendly locals.

Skewered chicken kebab was superb, ribs well flavoured but overcooked. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend it if you’re passing by.

Reasonable beer in a pleasant pub

Unfortunately customer service is extremely poor.On arrival, the sign says go the bar to be seated, however when at the bar, you are ignored. When I approach someone ( bald head man) they appear to be bewildered to be advised we had a booking. Unfortunately the service was very slow and in the end, I had to bring our plates to the bar to get any attention. The only saving grace was the food was excellent. It appears the management lack the necessary experience to run such a large establishment and should hand of the reigns to an experienced team.

Very disappointing. Food was cold, not very good and service was awful. Was looking forward to trying this place, wish I hadn't wasted my money.
