The best sourdough bread we've tasted, ever! Chewy, crispy, delicious! This quality will be hard to beat. It's definitely worth a visit here if you're in the vicinity and we'll definitely be back, next time we're in - or near - lovely 'Fram'.

Our first visit! It hopefully won't be the last. The food was so obviously home made. The carvery excellent. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and comfortable. No service charge added to the bill!!! Our own discretion!! The owner/ manager not sure which was great...eye on the ball and good to his young staff. We got Harry (in training) all smiles and a delight.

Visited this lovely, cosy, friendly pub on a Thursday night and was lucky to find it was quiz night ! Brilliant fun, the landlord Mark has just started running these every Thursday, well worth going. Very friendly landlord and staff especially Lorraine. Beautiful St Bernard dog Zeus who loves everyone. Good beer and good choice, believe Mark is hoping to start food in next couple of weeks. If you are in the area definitely worth a visit.

So disappointed, booked online, but when we got there they didn’t have our booking but not a problem they found us a table, we ordered nachos to start for a sharer which wasn’t too bad but our mains was awful I had sausages with bubble and squeak, I had to send it back because it was cold and all in all I just only eat one out of the three Sausages because they were quite tough and the bubble and squeak well it was edible. The sister pub the Wilfred Bridge you cannot fault it, maybe I should’ve just gone there.

We stopped by as walk-in customers without booking and found a table in the bar as we had our swissie with us. There was ample room for him lay down beside our table and bowls of water for dogs were freely available around the bar, garden and front area of the premises. We both had a pork belly Sunday roast that was ordered at the bar, along with drinks and was told there would be a 30min wait for food. The food arrived before the 30min expected, and our only issue was the cold plates, but the food on them was hot and delicious. A few roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud and seasonal veg completed the meal. The portion was fair for the price and was well cooked and presented. We were so pleased we returned for a breakfast later in the week - review to follow
