Excellent Sunday carvery again. Always visit when at my caravan in Newport. Been coming in here for many years now. Was good to see Lorna and her mum in there again today. Well done Sian for keeping up the great service. I will be back again soon.

Great Sunday roast plenty of choice, of meats & vegetables plus a choice of deserts....with a fantastic view over the dunes & out to sea...

Lots of people who had left reviews at the house we were staying at in Winterton-on-sea had recommended Poppy's and it didn't disappoint. Excellent fry up breakfast, very tasty and nice and fresh. Went back a couple of days later for lunch and would highly recommend. Very dog friendly, great service and very friendly staff and customers.

I popped in here for a few pints and a bite to eat. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a good choice of reasonably priced beers. The food is excellent and i can see why they get so many positive reviews. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Overall an excellent pub

We had a jumbo battered sausage with small chips and a kiddy portion of chips came to £9.00 AND the kiddy chips was the smallest portion of chips l have ever seen.... like less than one potato worth of chips for £2.50. The chips were cooked nicely but it is so grotesquely over priced, l thought l had misheard the amount till l checked my account, still in shock. Avoid!

Took my family out for bowling had a lovely time the staff all friendly and polite had a really good time will definitely be back.
