Great food fair prices good service friendly staff owner/chef nice atmosphere we have been eating here at various times for the last 10 years and we have never had cause to complain

Great food and excellent value for money. The staff although busy made time for everyone. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back.

I had a veggie breakfast with a cup of tea for £5.50 and it was perfectly cooked. Staff were extremely pleasant and cafe was spotless.

Very welcoming, polite & friendly staff - always busy which is a good sign. Kids eat for free Mon-Fri 5pm to 7pm with every adult main meal. Food came out quickly, very tasty (old school cooking). Didn’t take many pictures, wish I had. Good overall atmosphere, could do with more tables but other than that it was a nice little find! :-)

i know it's basically a greasy spoon but wasn't expecting to smell the grease in the arcade.. Seriously need to sort out the service. Stood in the queue for nearly 20mins. Finally got to the front then got told to wait a minute then the lady pissed off and started clearing tables and waited another 5 mind. They need 2 people at the counter to take your order and to make the drinks. We walked out and will not go back in there. Waste of time...

During our stay in hemsby we visited this café once. The staff were friendly and would greet us if we walked past and would always ask us about our day. The interior is old fashioned (the good kind) which gives it a unique look. The prices are decent not too expensive and isn't something I would complain about. The food was good quality and made very quickly. The portion sizes are large.. but not too large. If you're with a group the seating isn't amazing as you are unable to move the seats as they are stuck in place (connected to the table) so you may bump knees. One other complaint I have (which isn't the end of the world) they do not offer scrambled egg - They do offer fried eggs though.. Although a few complaints were made I would recommend this café to anyone staying on the Bermuda site or if you're passing by.

Saw the reviews, so thought I'd give it a go. Chicken was not crispy, Like it was microwaved. Gammon was undercooked. Carasel Burger, Bacon was fatty. Omlette size of a saucer, 1 lettuce leaf.. I slice of cucumber, no coleslaw. We are on our holidays , and our local cafe omlettes are size of a dinner plate, Fresh salad and homemade coleslaw.. Maybe these need to be addressed. Best part was the Tea and service, Waitress friendly. Not cheap at all, Especially when the food was not enjoyed by the Family.

First time been to this restaurant in all the times we ve been to Hemsby..Great service staff friendly great food and good prices. Hope to visit again soon..

Great Food, Value for money and great service. Well worth a visit especially if you have young children as kids eat free in the evening (Monday to Friday ) 1 child free per adult meal ordered. Been visiting this café for many years and will continue to do so.

Went for here for breakfast and tea. Always lovely friendly service. Lots of food choices to choice from and they are happy to swop anything over. Food comes quick and hot. Great value for money. Lovely not to cook while away. Next door to the excellent Bermuda club so we go here for tea then next door straight into the club.

The Carousel Café is a traditional diner giving excellent food at very reasonable prices been here a few times and always happy with the service. For parents on a budget they have a "kids eat free" offer, just ask when you order for details.

We love eating here because the food is cooked fresh and is so so well priced, don’t feel like your getting ripped off like some places, we are all struggling now with the cost of living increasing weekly and love how this place keeps its prices so good. Always hot food and always really enjoy our breakfast, kids eat free here too in the evening, well done Carousel cafe!

My husband and I went in for a meal at tea time. Very good service, had a main meal and desert, was really nice will definitely return and recommend keep up the good work

Have been taking familyhere for the last couple of years for breakfast before they go home. Know it’s all freshly cooked to orderso we like to get there when it opens as we have to get back to Yarmouth to catch a train. Unfortunately this morning somebody seemed to be in a grumpy mood. Came to open the door so we went to go in only to be told it’s not ten o’clock yet admittedly it was only 5 minutes to ten so why open the door if you don’t want people to go in. Went to order and the same person told us you won’t get it any quicker as l am the chef . If there was another cafe nearer we would of walked out but were conscious of time. I must admit the food is always good value and the gentleman who served us at the table was very pleasant, Unfortunately this has now put us of going there which I know won’t make any difference to them as they are always very busy(that’s why we get there early.)

popped in for a cup of coffee, ended up having a bacon roll, onion rings, mushroom omelette chips coffee and for a finale a toffee sundae all was great, excellent quality ingredients well cooked all served with a smile. Thanks

Had a couple of meals here whilst staying at my sisters chalet on the adjoining site. Staff are very friendly, food excellent and fantastic value for money expecially the breakfasts. Will definitely calling again before I return home.

Food is excellent ....staff are really friendly and Tina is amazing....free WiFi in the mornings and kids eat free between 5 and 7pm monday to Friday.

Went in for a meal with wife and daughter, queued up, 2 people in front of me. One person taking orders and making the drinks, allot of the stuff they were trying to order they didn't have. After 20 minutes I finally got to the front of the queue then the lady said just give me a minute without any apology or explanation, she then went to clean a number of tables while I was standing there . I then proceeded to walk out with my family and went else where and made the decision to never return. Got to say I know it is basically a greasy spoon but the smell is awful.

Went here for tea one night and breakfast. Friendly service hot and fresh food. Very good prices and lots of it. Great choice on menu and something for everyone. Shame not open all day and i wish they had proper tables rather than fixed seats but still worth a visit even if the rest of newport strangly is like a ghost town in half term. CASH ONLY!

I visited with my family. Firstly they are the only NOT dog friendly place we have encountered during this holiday. My vegan lasagne was complete mush, totally no flavour it reminded me of baby food. My chips had a small black hair on them.I'd rather pay a bit more and actually feel like you've eaten as I've finished & am hungry!

Great prices and value for money.Lovely friendly staff. Much calmer than places right in Hemsby’s Main Street. We will be back and tell our family to come here. Wish we’d found it earlier.

Lovely cafe, great prices, great selection and most of all fab staff :-) Good location with carousel amusements right next door which has all you need plus bowling. Also has parking right out front. 5** from me.

I can't recommend this place highly enough! They cater to vegans, vegetarians and gluten free! The price is very affordable but the quality of the food is exceptional 👌 staff all very friendly and aim to please every time we visit!

We’ve just returned from a weeks holiday on the Bermuda holiday park. The Cafe is a fab addition to this park and we are there every day. The food was lovely and plentiful. Even for fussy eaters like mine. Will definitley be going back and seeing them all again.

A great cafe that we have visited on 3 occasions over the weekend. Twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Lovely owner who makes everyone feel at home, like we have known him for years. The food is served fresh and quickly. We particularly loved the breakfast, including this breakfast sandwich tower! We’ve already booked to come back next year and will be back to the cafe!

Had cheese burger and chips the food and staff were excellent and asked if l injoyed and told me to injoy my holiday

Long awaited omelettes With baited breath I have waited for omelettes to be add and it was well worth the wait. Keith has manage to ge the right mix of toppings into the omelette, with it still being light and fluffy.

Myself and my Family visited this Cafe last year, and couldn't wait to return. We would gladly travel to come back.(if on another site) Even with the whole Covid 19 the standards haven't dropped. They are being extremely vigilant with abiding to the rules set out by everyone.But as previously mentioned, the standards of food haven't changed. Amazing quality of food. It really feels homemade, not just microwaved stuff.

Me and my wife had a great meal. We just turned up not expecting to much and we found it was great and the staff were so friendly.

Family were staying on site. So popped over to visit. Great choice of food and friendly staff. Good prices and portion size. Very busy but was lovely food and worth waiting for.

2nd year we have gone to the Bermuda but we will eat only with keith at the carousel...staff are friendly and you can have some banter with keith ty for putting up with us lairy bunch again and our demands of take aways hehe...we hope to come the oct week if not we will be back soon x

When we stay in Newport or Hemsby we go to the Carousel Cafe everyday for our breakfast. It’s fantastic value for money and quality is superb Chef is amazing and a very good cook very friendly as are the staffThe breakfast sets us up for the day bread and butter and tea or coffee are included in the price. Best we have ever had. Dinner is as good as the breakfast

Carousel Café! Total recommend! Family friendly, kind staff and such a funny Host! No wait for fresh Dinners! Waitresses were hands on and no table was left in a mess! Food was hot and filling portions.

A very family friendly cafe. Staff are very helpful and the owner is a diamond. Food is very reasonably priced and tastes fantastic too. Would also recommend the arcade, which me and the family have been coming to for years now. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Have been using this cafe for years,originally as a holiday maker and lately having moved to the area as a “local”.would far rather use this cafe than any other locally.Food always spot on and excellent value for money.Nothing too much trouble just ask and the staff will do their best to sort you out.Shame that only open during the holiday season,sort of place that would do well all year round if in a different location.

The food is tasty and a great variety even for vegaterians. All staff are very polite and freindly , plus if you need anything just ask. I recommend the Mixed Grill if your feeling really hungry ! I also recommed for a lighter meal their cottage pie and it comes with a choice of chips or mash and choice of peas or beans with gravy. Yum! . Food was great never had a problem with food before and now comming back several times food has alway been perfect. The chef is really kind and friendly to everyone.

Open to everyone, the menu has a great selection, takeaway food also available. Great prices and all the staff are polite, welcoming and friendly. Their milkshakes are the best! Highly recommend this café and nothing is too much trouble, thank you Carousel Café :)

I have been comming here for nearly 20 years and use this cafe at least once a day while on holiday its a great cafe food staff owner and chef are excellent Keith the main man is eager to please his customers and goes out of his way to give you exactly what you want and checks with you that everything is to your satisfaction if you have a critisism he is quick to put it right and prefers his customers to tell him how you like your food cooked when ordering eg well done bacon i am being perfectly honest here there are many places to eat in the area and my family an i have tried them all over the years but you dont get the customer care that Keith gives you and the advice i give you is if you have not eaten here you should you wont be disapointed and if you do find fault tell Keith and he will do his very best to put it right after all you cant please all of the people all of the time but this guy tries to hes a real hardworking honest and dedicated man a credit to the community of Hemsby

Visited last weekend,was in the arcade next to café on Sunday and called in to buy my girls a slush...

This was just across from our park was nice lots of two p pouch machines with toys on lots of...

we have been comming here for 18 years the cafe is a good size plenty of seating very clean and...

We were that impressed we went every morning and nearly every evening to this cafe.The staff are lovely, really helpful, will adjust meals to suit your needs. Definitely recommend. Also kids eat free!

A group of 8 of us went for Father's Day breakfast and it was brilliant food was lovely and very reasonable will go back again !

Food was perfect and very large portion sizes - plus kids eat free with one adult meal during the week so it's even better value!The chef, Keith, will cook things just the way you like and the banter with his team and customers is great, it's like being with friends or family every time we come back (this is the about fifth year now!).Thanks for another lovely time Keith, look forward to seeing you again next year!!P.S. I am a local electrician, and do a lot of work on Bermuda holiday park.I always use The Carousel Cafe. There is always a good choice of dishes. All of which are very reasonably priced. They are very nice and well presented. Keith the owner and chef, is always willing to oblige your wishes. He is always pleased to see you.

Great value food and huge portions plus homemade food (not to mention the free kids meals)!! It tasted beautiful and was very fast service to boot!The staff both in the cafe and the attached arcade made us feel very welcome, and during the week we were there they treated us like family!Truly made our holiday and we'll definitely be going back when we visit Hemsby next year.

the café and adjacent arcade suits all aspects. the food is excellent, staff are so helpful and friendly, you can play in the arcade until your food is ready. Kids eat free so that's wonderful, I cannot recommend the quality of food the friendliness and the cost highly enough.

The amusements and café are situated on the Bermuda Holiday Park, the café is attached to the arcade. We recently holidayed in Hemsby and had breakfast in the Café on a couple of mornings. The full English was excellent and great value. Really friendly welcome and a great cup of tea, well worth a try at any time of day as they also do meals. What is great about the place is that the person running it genuinely seemed pleased to see you and cared about giving you a good product and service with a smile. The same person also runs the attached arcade which my wife particularly enjoyed and spent a small fortune every evening on the ‘2p Shoves’ winning a range of prizes we will probably have no real use for. From opening to closing he never lost his smile or enthusiasm to help ensure you were having a good time and getting value for money. All in all, best café and best arcade in Hemsby, thanks for helping contribute to a great mini holiday.
