We visited for a Sunday carvery...was so delicious and staff very friendly... definitely worth to visit 🙂 ...I think the price is fair for such a good food. Thank you so much. We will back there soon for another Sunday carvery. I can say the best carvery in Swaffham. 😊❤️

My husband and I recently celebrated belatedly our Golden Wedding Anniversary with High Tea at Co Coes, Strattons. The High Tea was delicious and very well presented. The ambience of Co Coes was just great for a small gathering and the staff were very attentive and so helpful. All in all it was a lovely memorable occasion.

As we had to head several nice meals last year decided to try again as it has new owners. The only word describing this Sunday lunch was straight from the freezer packet from Tesco’s, Gravy was so thick I wouldn’t try it. Carrots and parsnips tiny fingers parsnips rock hard.To make matters worse, if that were possible everything was tepid. The pleasant lady who served us, after I complained was very sweet and said the chefs were away so the family were cooking. I know where the 2” circumference batter puddings came from purely by looking. Another couple who arrived a little after us sent their food back. I will not try it again as there are plenty of places to eat.

Just home from a lovely comfortable two night stay at the George Hotel. Received a warm welcome from the reception and were told we had the honeymoon suite. It was a lovely spacious room with a lovely bathroom with bath and separate shower and nice fluffy white towels. We had a view at the front of the hotel but there was very little road noise due to double glazing. The breakfast was nicely cooked and of good quality and the bacon was particularly delicious. There was also a good selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits, toast and preserves and croissants. On the second morning I chose the smoked haddock with a poached egg which was also nicely cooked. We both thoroughly enjoyed our little break and are looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

Firstly conduct an internal study of where your branch cafe stands against that of your other branches . Up amongst the top 5 ! Wow Pretty impressive considering some of those branches are larger and in more affluent areas , yet a branch in a small market town n Norfolk is giving them a run for the money . Even more surprising in light of said small town already having 10 other eateries offering breakfasts including a Greggs . So what is it we are doing right and what can we do to b@lls it up ? We know we are not the cheapest , in fact apart from one with similar prices we’re the most expensive and yet these pesky customers keep coming to us . So we need to find out why . Right , we now know that our cafeteria staff are hard working , dedicated and friendly . What’s more we are told by their loyal regulars that they create a market street ambience a world apart from the usual faceless , soulless and sterile corporate canteen . Oh my God it’s even worse than what we first thought . It seems that both our front of house and kitchen staff know a big percentage of our customers by name . This is terrible because we can’t do anything about this , how will we ever ruin our cafeteria trade at this rate ? O.k , let’s not panic yet , what other reasons are there for this dreadful scourge of constant unwanted repeat trade ? We know it’s not our pricing mmmmm🤔 EUREKA ! Quality ! we are burdened with an established brand reputation for quality . Well that’s easy to destroy . What’s our most popular breakfast ? Full English you say . Again , far from the cheapest in town but not swimming in grease , beautifully cooked with our own sausages , eggs and so forth and cleanly presented . Yum , yum . Right , get that off the menu for a start . Wait a minute though , our sausages and bacon in a crusty rustic roll are far too popular by half . I’ve got it , let’s replace them with those disgusting little pre made up numbers that you ping in the grotty little plastic bags they come packed in . You know , the ones that look and taste like they’ve been run over by a steam roller or have come out of a skip behind a motorway service station They come out with a chewy texture and a strange uniform non taste , a combination of the sausages which taste like bread to begin with , and the plastic bag a percentage of which leaches into the so called food . Guys give me my bonus now , we can make the sausages half the size of the originals and charge the same price 😁👍 That’s the way to do it 🤮 Unfortunately I can’t separate the star rating to give the caff staff what they deserve which is 5 stars and more besides . Even now they’re professionalism compels them to try and put a spin on it but I suspect they are not happy with the these clueless and ill thought out changes . Many years ago I worked in the food and retail industry and remember a time before accountancy thinking . Those were the days where the industry was customer lead and the supplier would react to their likes and supply them accordingly and still produce a healthy profit . Yet another example of less for more and stuff the consumer .

My mother was having "Care meals" from the White Heart. The abruptly stopped. One phone call two weeks ago to say they were having electric problem and couldn't deliver that night. Nothing delivered the following night. I called the next day and was told they were having supply issues and should be up and running again after the weekend. She has not had a delivery since. Their phone goes unanswered and the building is locked up. Searching on line I have found that the premises are up for sale. Appalling treatment of the elderly and vulnerable. Leaving them high and dry and out of pocket. Where do they go to get money back?

Having been to this eatery before and been delighted this visit was not good, after change of ownership. We tried the menu after the new owners took over and what a huge disappointment. The roast dinner was tepid in temperature. The chicken (small amount) was so dry I needed water to wash it down. The batters were plainly tiny hard shop bought and the parsnip were very hard as if barely or badly cooked. After we had finished what we wanted I had to go to the counter to pay as we had waited so long for them to collect our plates we were not sure if they were going to. Another couple who arrived sent their food back too. I would not recommend.
