The best restaurants serving British food in Spalding St John's South Holland East Midlands

Visited Friday night with close friends, the food and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend. Will definitely be rebooking. Nothing was too much trouble for our servers Maddie and Kamila. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Volunteers that run it are very helpful and knowledgeable about the mill. Went for mothers day lunch and food was wonderful. Cafe and shop is good value.

Love rumblings for a traditional filling English breakfast but they have other great things on offer as well as really nice takeaway rolls and sandwiches. Very friendly staff and great value for money overall

Visited today after a few years absence. Saturday night, Easter holidays, and it closed at 9.30pm. Won't be coming back in a hurry

Lovely fresh cooked food, hubby had large breakfast with chips instead of bubble & black pudding. I had burger and chips. We really enjoyed it and it was piping hot. Would recommend.

Last minute decision to pop in for a bite to eat. Called and booked a table with the lovely member of staff. Welcomed on arrival by the lady who took my booking. Ordered drinks and was Seated quickly and greeted by our waitress. Ordered two main meals. Ham, egg and chips. Scampi and chips. Food arrived very quickly and was piping hot. My wife’s meal came with two slabs of ham. Freshly cooked eggs to her liking. Scampi was fresh. Lovely tartare sauce. Both meals came with the fantastic homemade chips. We both throughly enjoyed our meals. Credit to the team and chef. Wife found room for a Oreo cheesecake that came with Fresh Strawberries too and also brought some of the ham home too as there was leftovers… All in all. Fantastic food. Great staff and atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. We will return and sit in the garden or by the river. Thank you.

Stopped at the cafe for breakfast. Lots of seating including a bar area, lots of parking, clean tables and toilets, friendly staff, breakfast is served to your table after ordering. Large range of hot and cold food options which are reasonably priced. Lots of interesting military themed artifacts to read about inside and tanks/planes/guns in car park make a great backdrop while eating. Definitely worth a visit, I'll come again.
