Me and my partner just ordered a takeaway from this place. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM. Genuinely one of the worst chip shop dinners we have ever had. When our food arrived it was completely soaked through which was already a bad omen. It was then the smallest portions iv ever seen from a chippy, we also received curry sauce instead of Gravy and not only that but we didn’t receive 2 potato fritters. The drinks was completely wrong as well as we ordered a 2L coke and received a can of Pepsi. Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse we also couldn’t get any of it refunded EVEN THOUGH IT WASNT THERE!!! I for one will NEVER eat here again.

Booked for a family meet up. Was greeted promptly and nicely, we were told we could choose a table as it was quiet. We chose the set menu even though we were 5 minutes after the alloted time. The food came out in a timely fashion and was very tasty. The fish and chips and mushy peas was great and the fish was the size of a small whale. My guest had a problem with his second pint of lager but the matter was dealt with, with the minimum of fuss and sweetly. We had good banter with the waitress, Grace, who was charming and efficient and if ever she wants to leave I'll take her off your hands. 5 stars we will be back.

the people leaving this place a bad review are expecting far too much if you want a cheep pint this place is 200% value its under 2 quid a pint for ale and cider there is other places for a cheap pint in notttingha #mbut 4/5 of them are wetherspoons
