We stopped for a bottle of wine on a Saturday afternoon with friends. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Great selection of music

First time there but will be going back again. Been a few times now, good mix of age groups, they have a dj playing some decent music.

The server Charlie gave me a beautiful yummy Lemon drizzle shot it was BEAUTIFUL - Served by Hand Abdul made me an incredible Long Island Iced Tea and was brilliant service - Served me with a smile

I’ve had an amazing experience at parlour tonight. The staff was amazing, helpful and welcoming especially Abdul. He suggested which cocktails and presented them perfectly. The female bartender was such a vibe will definitely come back again!!!

I visited yesterday. The venue is located on the main street in West Bridgford, between the Irish pub and the other social venue. I will discuss service and atmosphere. These are well established, but for the same price one can experience better. Overall it was pleasant. The business doesn't serve food, as it's mainly a cocktail bar. Therefore, I won't rate the food. The building where the business is situated features a captivating architecture - it is a well decorated house with a gracious garden. One can drink inside ot outside. Indoors, tapestry, furniture and space are well presented although the venue has only got one floor - toilets are downstairs. This can make the location quite overcrowded (especially in winter) on busy nights and there's a limited amount of space. Service was delivered, although this can be improved. I ordered a spritz and had to ask staff multiple times to be served, considering at the time I ordered venue was not busy. I couldn't find a seat and asked staff, who didn't really help. Before arriving at the venue, I emailed the business to get a reservation and also reached out via other socials, but received no answer. This is certainly an aspect that I hope staff will develop. Cocktail was pleasant and carefully prepared (see picture). However, one could get a similar product in other venues. Overall, it was a pleasant visit. Space and atmosphere have got good reputation in West Bridgford. I recommend it.

Excellent experience- went on Tuesday night and felt welcomed entire evening, not rushed and treated like a local - staff were fabulous shout-out to Dec who gave us dating advice and delivered amazing quality service - will certainly be back - thank you !! :))

First time in Nottingham had a lovely night staff were friendly and welcoming and security was incredibly helpful in helping me find my phone had a grate night would definitely recommend

I am new to this area, and I wanted a venue to have good vibes and good service. Leela was my server, she was very friendly and accommodating, made me and my friends excellent drinks every time (and we were there for a while 😂) whilst also being very chatty and friendly making our experience even better, lovely cozy bar, 100% recommend !!

It was my birthday Pete and Dom were fantastic made my day even better we're absolutely amazing drinks were fantastic and always quick and effecient service could not reccomned more The Parlour more to anyone if there looking for a relaxed environment with fantastic drinks and amazing service 10/10

Busy busy busy in. Friday night, partly as cricket was on. Started to queue at the entrance when leaving. Manage to grab chairs and table inside. Mixed groups. I'll say again busy.

Went to this bar for cocktails as advertised, see picture below. Ordered 2 of the same cocktails, pint of lager & a vodka & tonic, bill came to £28.50! Queried with the bar tender who served us (confirmed later by another member of staff that he was the manager) his response was it’s a bank holiday weekend & these offers are not on! When we queried it with him, as it doesn’t specify that on the board, he said he would discount our next round, we asked for money back & he said he couldn’t because the till was closed! When we queried it again, he said that we were being sarcastic & he was loosing patience with us & not going to deal with us any longer & walked off! We also couldn’t get a receipt so we could take it up with other management at a later stage! Subsequently we finished our drinks & left, feeling ripped off & conned, we will never go back. The average age of our party was 52! Warning to others be careful of the false advertising & rude manager!

Paid for drinks at the bar and waited patiently for a table to be vacated. Eventually a party left so we sat and continued our drinks for 10 minutes before the bar manager came over and with no apology demanded that we leave the table because it was reserved. He then proceeded to place a Reserved sign on the table and accused us of moving it off the table (certainly not the case). Created a humiliating situation for us and then when I had the “audacity” to calmly complain about the service he told the door man to eject us. Overall an OKish bar and drinks but the manager is in serious need of customer experience coaching.

Went there for the first time last night. Great cocktails at fair prices. The two bartenders were amazing. Very friendly and happy to service their customers. Definitely recommend.

AWFUL.... Would have given minus stars if I could have! Advise all to avoid at all costs! Having already purchased 1x round of drinks we decided to have a second.... what a mistake this was! When we finally got served, we placed an order and the bar maid started pouring these.. mid way through, she deemed it acceptable to go and change the toilet roll without even telling us... she was gone for 15 minutes 🤯 Upon her return she continued to pour the remainder of the order. When asked what happened / why she had disappeared for such a length of time and she told us the reason, I advised that this was poor customer service. At which point, the manger of this poor excuse of a bar approached with an attitude "what did you say" - I then repeated that I felt the customer service was not good and his response to this, was "that's it. get out - your barred". After getting the rest of our party and explaining that we were leaving to them... the manger came from around the bar got very aggressive and confrontation to the point that their door staff were apologising on the bars behalf for the so called managers actions...... AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Owners need to seriously reconsider the managers that they hire!!!!!

We just popped in, had not heard of this place before, and we were blown away with their cocktails!! Had a P&J old fashioned and a ‘pear drop’ which were both specials and both delicious. So reasonably priced as well at £8 each. We will be returning.

I had the most horrific experience, it utterly ruined my whole weekend! Never experienced such a rude customer experience! From the off set there were snide comments and disgusting remarks being whispered; as the customers I was in utter disbelief, how could any customer be treated this way, especially having not said a word to the start! Anyway, the drinks were ok but as the evening proceeded the drinks got more sour along with the service; it ended with one particular waiter being extremely disrespectful and derogatory ! I don’t recommend and I suggest you don’t get serviced by Tom ‘bones’

Horrendous attitude and service from bar staff. Such rude and derogatory comments behind our backs. Worst customer service I’ve ever received! WILL NEVER BE RETURNING ! The guy with the bones shirt was especially arrogant and so rude should be sacked immediately for awful customer service. I highly recommend to never go for late night drinks will ruin your night. First time I'd been to The Parlour and it won't be my last! Very welcoming friendly staff, quick service! Such a quirky bar with the decor and great vibes! Highly recommended if you want to chill but with an atmosphere!

Walked in. Funny smell. . Asked for a drinks menu, rude aragant bar man pointed vaguly to an area and exclaimed "THEY'RE THERE!!". . We sat down with a sticky menu and a sticky table and decided to promptly leave. Such a shame as It was my first time in there and was recommended by friends. Won't return.

Was in a group of male & female friends having banter between ourselves when, as a result of a total over reaction by management, the whole group was asked to leave, even the door staff were embarrassed by the management’s actions.

The Premier Place for Insecure Posers and Pretentious Hipsters of All Genders and Ethnic Backgrounds - It is quite the achievement to make me feel so unwelcome in my home borough as a disabled man that I almost cried a bit on the way home. Apparently it is forbidden to talk to people from the entrance about the music that is playing. The man who I presume is the manager did an excellent job of alienating me by completely misreading the situation and assuming I was drunk rather than neurodiverse. He tried to call the police, which is the obvious refuge of a coward and an ableist. In conclusion, AVOID. Doesn't matter what music they blast into the high street this is a bar for snobs ran by snobs.

Had a lovely evening here! All covered with heaters and the vibe was amazing! Mitchell recommended some shots to us , which were really nice and my friend forgot her phone and didn’t realise and he came down the street to give it to us whilst waiting for a taxi!

Can’t fault the place, good drinks etc apart from 1 member of staff. He is a black guy with a larger build. Very rude and stuck up. Order drinks then straight away sits down and speaks to his friends and we have to get another waiter to get our drinks. All other members of staff are great. That one member of staff lets the place down

Excellent service , mix a woo woo and a cheeky blinder and you’ve got yourself the best cocktail you’ve ever tasted. Mitch and Connor in particular are great servers. Brilliant value for money would highly recommend!!

I have visited The Parlour regularly, always delicious cocktails always made from scratch, great music, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere! Visited a couple of weeks ago with my friend, they’re taking the social distancing very seriously and I felt very safe enjoying my cocktails! Thank you.

Visited for the first time as a small group, track and trace was in place so that's good.The cocktails and the drinks ordered were superb, didn't have to wait too long either. The bar has a very nice laid back atmosphere with good music, would be great for dates.The 2 stars are mainly due to the attitude of 2 members of bar staff who appeared very unfriendly and cold when taking our orders. We asked to move to an empty table nearby as the we were seated at different heights, the waitress looked really displeased.My friend then tried to grab a waiter's attention and he deliberately ignored him. To the point, we were staring and I saw his colleague joke about how rude he was.I understand everybody has a rough day but for this to be a continual theme and to be noticed by everyone in the group is really disrespectful.

The bar staff were attentive, efficient and gave fantastic service. Great selection of cocktails and spirits most certainly helped, and the knowledge of the bar staff helping us find the right drinks that suited our own personal tastes. Most definitely will return!

Great afternoon of cocktails in West Bridgford with family. Cocktails lovely and very reasonably priced. Added extras of board games and Jenga...competitive “spirit” came out!!!

I recently attended The Parlour on a date night with my girlfriend. The staff were really knowledgeable and created some great cocktails for us. Our server Jamie was fabulous and made the night special. This is a hidden gem in west bridgford, highly recommended.

I felt nice, but it was kind of weird.

Looked a great place from outside and walking in looked good too....however really unfriendly bar staff - no smiles no interaction felt uncomfortable and not welcome...disappointed..

Edited review from a year ago (a 5* review) and have never felt the need to update on previous visits, but on this occasion I have to! Not sure what happened or what lead to the events on Friday evening, but a staff member was very rude to my friend and I (even swearing at one point) when we asked to have our money back for two below average cocktails. Having paid £7.50 each (£15 total) so we had expected a good drink. Luckily following a quick chat with the manager, our money was returned. Don't think I would return if the staff are now like this! Credit to the manager for dealing with this situation correctly though.

I was taken here for drinks and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was great, I adored the way The Parlour is decorated and the staff are brilliant. The Parlour made our evening even more special so thank you!

Stumbled across this cute bar on my last visit to West Bridgford. Was attracted to this bar because of its high street location and nice seating area out front. While at the bar Fraser introduced himself and explained the extensive range of infused gins! I went for a parlour pink, a delicious mix of strawberries, berries and rhubarb :)

Homely feel to this place and the staff were friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating. The G&T; was brilliant.

Awesome management, well poured pints and outrageous cocktails for the girls.. Can't fault the spot!

Second visit just as fab as the first! This time we treated our friends as a birthday gift and was not disappointed. Wonderful cream tea! Plenty of fresh made sandwiches with a choice of bread and fillings! Lots of mini cakes and some scones and clotted cream to finish! Staff very helpful and quick to serve. Sitting outside on a summer day was just the ticket. Definitely one to repeat and may the staff keep smiling as they serve it does make all the difference

My first and last experience of The Palour was the day I visited for breakfast and was the only customer in the place and after 20 minutes of waiting, even approaching the bar to order some food (I was told to take a seat and someone would take my order) I left and went to Costa next door instead (and was served with coffee and a danish in less than 5 minutes). I made the “fatal” mistake of mentioning this experience of The Palour on twitter and instead of the management listening my experience seriously, they direct messaged me, said I had been rude and used vulgar language (I said I was p*ssed off at the lousy service) therefore they was not prepared to respond to someone who uses bad language. Needless to say, I’ve never ventured back to this day.

Perfect place to be. Bartenders are overly and friendly and the drinks were gorgeous. Connor and Jake served me and were hilarious and amazing people

Came in for a few cocktails tonight with my friends. First round went smoothly enough, 3 cocktails - took around 5 minutes to order and receive. Same can’t be said for the second round. Same amount of drinks, took over half an hour. Main problem was the blonde male barman (clearly drunk) repeatedly forgetting our order and then about us altogether. On 2 occasions while we stood there he served other girls to the right and prioritised their order despite us ordering first. Then it materialised that they did not have the required alcohol to make our drinks. This added even more to the time we had already waited for him to make round of pretty ghastly drinks. Felt quite sorry for the other 2 barmen, although there was clearly zero management as the blonde barman spent the rest of the night chatting away to various girls while they worked around him?! The one star is purely for the entertainment from the bar fight that took place upon eventually getting our drinks. Not the bars fault, obviously, but hilariously the said blonde barman took this as an opportunity to pour free shots for himself and another girl at the bar while the fight carried on! Remarkable.

I have been here many times and imo they make fantastic cocktails and great value during happy hour. The decor and vibe is so chilled it's no wonder its my girlfriends favourite place!

I’ve never been to The Parlour. I’ve read many reviews, good and bad, more recently good as I was looking for a delicious afternoon tea to treat my friend for her birthday. I wasn’t looking for a cheap Groupn or a Wowcher as many of the reviews on here were for, no I was a full price paying customer.

I purchased Groupon vouchers for The Parlour’s afternoon tea, but I never got to sample it as I received an email from Groupon stating that The Parlour was no longer honouring Groupon vouchers. As I had purchased it as a treat for a friend I was left feeling embarrassed although my friend was very understanding. This incredibly poor experience has left me with the impression that the customer is unimportant and I will not be visiting The Parlour again.

Visited for afternoon tea on groupon deal with partner. Great choice of sandwiches, all excellently made where you could actually choose what you wanted. Great cocktails

Quirky place with great cake and good coffee

Not happy I bought two groupon deals for afternoon teas for four people. I booked for 26th October 2019. Then got a phone call to say their doing up the kitchen so have to cancel my booking and I have to phone groupon for a refund which I did. But to be honest I am furious. The inconvenience in phoning groupon and then having to wait for over a week for my money back. Why offer groupon deals if you can't keep to the offer. This was supposed to be a treat for my partners elderly parents which they were looking forward to. Not good on the parlours reputation. We were going to book for pre drinks and nibbles before our wedding. But now I will be looking elsewhere. One furious customer
