The best restaurants serving British food in Trent Bridge Rushcliffe East Midlands

Food excellent as always and was delayed to the previous driver being a collision. So thankful to hear they wasn't hurt! It's our favourite chippy and will definitely use again.

We visit Portello in west bridgford about 5 times a week as its our local and a lovely relaxing atmosphere especially at the moment for myself. We love the New food menue and drinks and the staff are always so friendly and helpful and make it a nice atmosphere. There are plenty of entertainment events and it's always clean and cosy. We love that we can take our dog in too and they are catered for with their own treats and dog bowls. A family friendly place x

Our takeaway for fish & chips meal and kebab & chips & salad order was quite nice to be honest. however just slightly warm. Thank you.! Ms Cynthia Ross.

Booked for a family meet up. Was greeted promptly and nicely, we were told we could choose a table as it was quiet. We chose the set menu even though we were 5 minutes after the alloted time. The food came out in a timely fashion and was very tasty. The fish and chips and mushy peas was great and the fish was the size of a small whale. My guest had a problem with his second pint of lager but the matter was dealt with, with the minimum of fuss and sweetly. We had good banter with the waitress, Grace, who was charming and efficient and if ever she wants to leave I'll take her off your hands. 5 stars we will be back.
