The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in South Wales

An absolutely fantastic experience! This restaurant has nailed the art of cooking over an open fire, and their vegan options are great, all you have to do is leave a note on the booking or ask if you’re a walk in. The smoky flavors infused in each dish took plant-based dining to another level. We had a mix of roasted veggies, charred hispy cabbage with marmite butter, and fire-grilled mushrooms,, all of which were rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The ambiance was charmingly modern and friendly, with the glow of the fire adding a unique charm to the meal. The staff was knowledgeable about vegan options and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. This is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience vegan cuisine with a beautiful, open-fire twist! Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing can't recommend this place enough. The staff are helpful and attentive with out being over bearing, the menu is varied, there's something for everyone. Really can't find any negatives about my visit or the food

All food cooked as you arrive, so not “drying out” waiting for customers. Quality and quantity excellent. Cash only. Wide range of choices.

Was recommended to us. Tried the beef skewer kebab and chicken and mixed. All delicious. I like beef to be lean and tender, they don't dissapoint. Take away is spotlessly clean, staff are polite and professional. Haven't been anywhere else since finding this place. Thanks guys.

Ordered a small chicken shish the other night, although the food is very good and delivery is spot on i was a bit disappointed with how small the small really is....just three pieces of chicken and hardly any salad...i was left feeling still hungry. if you want value for money i would go elsewhere..

8 of us visited the restaurant. Thought it was quiet only 3 teenage girls there. .... Perhaps there was a reason ..... .......🤔 Ordered our food. Ribs .... only Two ribs on the plate mostly bone, not a lot of meat grossly overpriced at £14 and £5 for dirty fries. ( Bowl of frozen chips with a sprinkling of topping. )😱 Other food ordered was the meat platter. Again for £28 inluding 2 side dishes it was not good value as not a lot of meat. Burgers seemed ok but overpriced. 😱😱 The final nail in the coffin was being charged for several side dishes which were inclusive . When pointed out the bill was amended but no apology.😱😱😱 Only saving grace was no bar so we bought alcohol from the garage opposite. 😀 Needless to say we will not be returning.

Wow- the food is absolutely awesome and so filling , staff were very attentive and lovely atmosphere . Highly recommend a visit and will definitely be visiting again - it’s a gem of the area . Pre booking advised

Us old school friends meet up monthly and it's a few years since we visited here I must say the food we all had was really good such friendly staff and reasonable prices will definitely return for our next meet up .

We had a fantastic table here for 13 on a Sunday lunchtime and had the most amazing meal. Despite being expensive, the staff are very nice and the atmosphere buzzing. The food is absolutely divine: the Steak melts in your mouth! The Sunday Roast is delicious too. We are regulars and here and this place never fails to disappoint! Thank you for putting up with such a noisy table!

I've been on two dates here, with the same girl. Highly recommend as it's a pretty chill, low maintenance date option. However, the order app never seems to work for me... and twice now, they forgot to bring over my partners wine. Both are not a major issue, I really like the place and will no doubt come back again. Oh, parking is free for up to 4 hours.

Awful meal the bbq spare ribs were tough as old boots and the sauce was disappointing will definitely not be ordering from here again

Used to be ok .. today left with unfinished drinks. Thatchers cider sour and Merlot tainted..our food was disappointing too lasagne. Hot one end cold the other. And missus fish and chips..the fish was so small Nemo wouldn't find it.. Edit ..great improvement on today's visit..
