Some of the food are nice but the chicken shawarma was bad, it was bland no flavor at all

Huge portions .yummy food . Highly recommend.

Walked for a long time to have dinner but it was closed, for the next 3 or more weeks, although Google was showing it as open!

Walk for 18 minutes to go there when I get there thay told me we're close for 3 weeks, On Google they're still open. ☹

Amazing food here. Such a welcoming group of staff members here. We had the sharing platter that was very tasty, was hot and plenty to go around. Finished off with the baklava and the cardamon tea. Will definitely be returning here!

Very good restaurant for the grilled food.

La Shish not only prepares brilliant Lebanese dishes, but also the portions are so large versus the price, that its true value, theres always leftovers to take home. One of my favourite restaurants as of late for Mediterranean dishes, high quality meats too, no cutting corners here.

Generous portion of great medetrian fresh food. Came to visit Cardiff for one day with the family and I went here based on recommendations. Lived the food and the bread.

Slightly longer to arrive than expected given it wasn't busy, however the food was first rate when it arrived an excellent value. Their fruit juices are also recommended, even the apple tasted freshly squeezed and was a decent size

The worst customer service ever, given tahini instead of hummus and told "restaurant is busy and chef sometimes makes food different". Translation we know the food is sh*t but hey ho... Safe to say I'm not a Fan. My friend who attended with me had food poisening after this and was ill for 3 days.

Very nice food at la shish I can never fault the food. However service could better it’s something that needs to be worked on in my opinion. Often make mistakes with my order usually however when the food arrives I must say it’s worth the wait. I will be back.

Use to come here a lot before but price went up and I personally didn’t think the food was worth it, food is still nice but I don’t go as often as I once did.

Always make this our post-rugby match meal. Fantastic food, lots of it and very tasty. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. We will be back soon.

Poor customer service, good food.. Lady who took my order couldn't understand I wanted to go out and collect my takeaway after it was made. Took 4 attempts with her get her to understand getting more angry/cold as I tried to explain. In the end she passed me to griller who kindly understood On collection nothing from order was made, and griller(different person) was embarrassed. He said would be ready soon. And started making food. Food was good but too little too late, next time I will go elsewhere. Girl who took the order needs customer service training or they will loose other customers. Order processing needs real work. Very disappointed

Very friendly and polite and clean and every single worker had smiles and nothing was to much for them... the meat just melted in the mouth.. full off flavour.. would highly recommend... yum yum yum

Después de no venir aquí durante unos buenos meses, decidimos pasar por allí y ver si todavía era tan sorprendente como lo recordamos y podemos confirmar que es aún mejor, y hacer una crítica digna (ya que las personas son demasiado rápidas para escribir una mala crítica) Nuestra camarera (cuyo nombre creo que es Kiki, una joven morena) fue tan encantadora, trabajando constantemente, ¡es un activo absoluto para este restaurante! No solo nos hemos arrepentido de no haber venido al lugar recientemente, sino que lo recomendaremos a todos los que tengamos la oportunidad de contarles. I have been there many times. This place serves succulent grills and other middle eastern dishes. Really fond of the food.

Chicken and lamb dishes are all great, quick service, decent price. Handle groups of 8 easily. Highly recommended.

You can find some of the best and authentic Lebanese food here with a wide variety of freshly made kebabs and naan. They are well known for their traditional cooked naan in the old school way with their home made hummus which is to die for. They have a good selection of meats to choose from which are very well marinated The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and service you get at the restaurant They have have acquit sitting to accommodate large groups and you can order online from various delivery websites Overall, it is a must try in the area

Had dinner with friends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and reza (manager) was very accommodating. Will be back definitely!

The sharing platter is insanely good. So much food. Sharing platter for 2 is more than enough for 2-3 people. Delicious, hot, fresh food. Spices and seasonings are perfect. Even the sauces are really good. Would definitely recommend the sharing platter from here (as it is the only thing on the menu I've tried so far)

Ever since our first visit a couple of years ago, we find ourselves heading there every now and then - with friends and family. Myself and kids love their milk shakes, hot starters kibbeh lebania, borek or lamb arayes and their house special lamb kouzi. Portions are generous, non spicy and delicious. Would always recommend this place for the value for money.

Good place for middle eastern food in Cardiff. Must admit quality of the food is quite good even when copared to best places around. That's what brings me here at least once week..but unfortunately since they've got business they just don't care..waitresses are very arrogant and some of the worst mannered people I've ever encountered in UK. They make you feels like you've come begging for free of charge... and not to enjoy a meal..visit couple of times you will realize. How ever we still come cause the food is really good. Place needs a level headed management to make customers happier in my humble openion. Good portion sizes and Prices are definitely worth the money. They don't accept cards. You need to have cash on hand.

We had a supper amazing lunch at la shish . Amazingly lovely and warm staff. Everyone was so friendly and polite that me and my family have no words to say thanks and appropriate their customer services. Food was super delicious, in good quantities and at reasonable prices . Wish they would be in London . We surely be back when visited Cardiff again.

Very rude and unprofessional staff always try to get rid of the customers quickly I don’t understand the way they treat their customers is like they don’t want anyone to come to their restaurant.

Old La Shish quality is long gone When it happened first, thought its a isolated issue but after same issues we now decided to stop going to La Shish. Last experience, we had not cooked lamb peaces, there no consistency in bread (one side is very thick and doughy, not baked and other side is thin). They using a white onion finger thick sliced, if they font want to use a red onion why not slice the onion much thinner ??? Staff (girls) are rude, no basic communication skills. Its very shame to see La Shish lost its quality and service.

Viajo a Cardiff dos veces al año y nunca dejo de visitar La Shish una vez cada vez. Porciones auténticas y generosas de Kebabs en todas sus formas. Grandes mezes, sin alcohol como lo sería en el Medio Oriente, pero deliciosos jugos caseros. El lugar es sencillo y a menudo está lleno de familias enteras. Sin embargo, el viajero solo definitivamente es bienvenido. Si el lugar está lleno, ¡llévatelo! El personal muy amable y acogedor es otra ventaja de este encantador rincón del Medio Oriente en Cardiff que ofrece deliciosa comida reconfortante.

Love the food, the value, and the friendly staff

Don't believe the hype below, this place is not great at all, lamb kofte is not made fresh but instead bought frozen in bulk, if you've ever tasted "tank tracks" you will know what I mean. The garlic sauce, always a good sign of a kebab place, was not freshly made with yogurt and herbs as it should be, instead was more like the pre made gloop you would get in a plastic bottle from a salmonella van beside the A48. Chips weren't fresh and crispy, instead brown like when you have used the oil one too many times... Avoid at all costs.

Oh man. I just had the worst felafel I've ever eaten in my life and now I've got the runs. They weren't cooked properly and were full of (and I mean FULL OF) raw coriander seeds. I can still taste them and I finished an hour ago and have brushed my teeth.

We live just round the corner and have been a few times, its great food, not so many veggie options but those that there are are delicious.

العاملون كانو سيئيين جداً والاكل مافيه شي تقول عليه واو وعلى الرغم من ان عندهم مخبز ويخبزو بالدقيقة الا انهم جابو لي الخبز بارد !! على نفس الشارع فيه الأفضل واللي يحترمو الزبائن .. لا انصح اخواني واخواني الخليجيين خاصه بالقدوم هنا لأسباب انتم تعرفونها .. the staff was too rude and the food was cold! I have eaten here stacks of times and also collected take out food on around 20 occasions. I keep meaning to post a review. I have never had so much as a bad grain of rice from this place.The food quality and taste are outstanding (their grill flavour is incredible), the service is excellent and the prices very reasonable. This is a must try, you will not be disappointed!!

Actually 4½ stars, Delicious and beautifully presented food but 5 stars would have required my mint tea to be made from leaf tea as well as fresh mint — and ideally poured from a great height with due ceremony. NIce relaxed atmoshere too.

Food was amazing, The naan bread was super doughy and fresh too. We had the sharing platter for 2, there was so much food and all very tasty. defo recommned. only improvement would be having a bigger range of drinks to choose from :D abso fantasitic, i will defo be back!

The 2 portion platter was very substantial and value for money.

Tried share platter for 2. Couldn’t finished it off but the taste was banging. Took the leftovers home and ate for breakfast. Next day went back to order take away for the road back home.

Don’t take my word for it , read all the other amazing reviews! This place is a little gem, Food is on point ! Cooked fresh , full of mouth watering flavour and the service was great. Well worth the 100 miles drive , if your thinking Turkish this is the only place you should be heading for!

Came today to lashish and ordered a steak mix and lamb shish with mushroom sauce. Asked for my steak to be medium and they cooked it well done. The lamb shish were sooo salty I couldn’t chew that long with the taste. And don’t get me started on the mushroom sauce. It was sooo runny and hardly any mushroom in there. Also had a tangy taste. They apparently make it in the morning. Sooo they couldn’t perfect it... I was just soooo disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting food, the rice was like bullets and the aubergine was covered in oil very poor quality. I spoke with the chef and not even he would tase it! his comeback was he is on a diet what sort of a chef doesn’t taste his own food no solution was offered so I just paid the money and left. I will Definitely not be coming back or recommending this place!

El servicio no era muy bueno y el personal es aburrido y fue uno de mis peores experimentos para probar comida y estaba frío y costoso para nada y estaba frío y los pasteles no son frescos, tampoco está bien, algo de la comida era buena tenía tres platos y usted pasa mucho tiempo esperando que el mozo tome su orden y espere años para obtener su comida y ellos solo están tomando efectivo, no toman tarjetas y usted tiene que esperar que un Que obtenga una mesa comer tampoco es un lugar seguro porque antes tenía brunets y no estaba bajo control
