The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in Portsmouth South East

Popped into Loch Fyne for lunch today with my husband and had an amazing meal😋 With fantastic and friendly service from the lovely Aimee and her fellow colleagues 👍

Expected a beef steak as described not beef patties.

It's all about the meat. If you like rarer cooked meat then this is the place to go. I prefer well cooked meat so was quite disappointed and most of it was beef. Quality of the salad and side dishes was lacking.

I hope they open soon , as im big fan of afghani food , everytime with my family we have to travel to Southampton, im sure everyone from Portsmouth would love afghani delicious foods!

We went on a Saturday night and they were very busy. Apparently one of the chefs had called in sick so they were really up against it service-wise but the food was absolutely exquisite. Delicious. I had the chicken katsu and my husband had shredded pork and rice with some Korean fried chicken on the side. Tasted all of it and it was phenomenal. We also had a jug of the pear and honey juice and that was lovely too. The staff were really apologetic about the wait but they were doing their best in the circumstances.

As a local influencer I know everything there is to know about Pompey. Took my Gran for a couple of drinks and a game of pool but it was a dive of a place. The guy serving wasn’t interested and looked like he didn’t want to be there. When I told him the ladies toilets bog was blocked he said “oh well” - my poor Gran had to use a blocked bog.
