The best restaurants serving Asian food in Highlands and Islands

restaurant clode since 3 years, Any update from trip advisor ? We're travelling on NC500 and there a lot of restaurant close but still appear on trip advisor... for what ???

We were just in Lerwick for a few days and made reservations here. The food was phenomenal, the lamb and beef were probably the best we've ever had. The staff were super friendly. Everything that we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Wish we didn't live so far away!

A culinary nirvana! So good it should be listed as a main attraction on "Visit Scotland".

Visited the Gurkha yesterday evening for a meal with colleagues. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was quick. Waitress that served us was very friendly and helpful with recommending things on the menu. The Gurkha beer is also definitely worth a try if you haven’t before.

Ordered a takeaway. Was tasty and warm.

Food was great. Service was better than any chain you could go to. I would definitely come again if I was in the area. The only downside for me is that I live over 200 miles away but hope to be able to come here again.

We had a carry out of veg pakora, ceylon chicken and chicken pasanda. Literally overcooked or heated up chicken, tasteless sauce. We were very disappointed and wont be back.

I was hoping I would like this place, especially after my favourite in Buckie closed down. But it wasn’t to my liking The veg pakora turned in to onion bhajis? Pilau rice was greasy Garlic?? Nan was like a piece of rubber. Didn’t see or taste garlic The Naga was tasty enough but was too sweet for me The South Indian garlic chili was absolutely tasteless apart from sweet, and was coloured bright red? Inedible to me. I was so disappointed, as I was hoping this would be a new regular for me. Don’t think I will be back

Not normally one to name and shame but horrific dinner experience from Panda Garden Chinese Takeaway with little accountability from them! 17.38 ordered Delivery time sun-thurs advertised as 45 mins Gave it an hour considering its mother 18.40 Called - its still here awaiting delivery, we will give you free prawn crackers. (Im thinking how long has it been sitting, will it even still be hot when we get here) 19.10 an hour and a half since ordering - still no food. Call again “Its on its way its mothers day we are busy” (An hour and a half isnt acceptable on ANY day and forecast being busy on speciall occasions!!) “We will give you £10 credit” Im pretty sure after this time i should be getting refund!! 19.30 - Still NO FOOD!! 19.36 - 2 HOURS almost to the minute before food arrived look warm. We had some becauae too long to order from else where. Lovely end to a nice mothers day 👌🏻

When I walked in no one said hello or welcome apart from really kind boy. The food tasted dry and the cake tasted awful. The place where the actual buffet and seating area was small. Most of the dishes were half empty and my Dad had to wait for 20 minutes just for custard ( for his desert). Overall there was a couple of good food and a nice young boy who was the only one to talk.

A new low. The order was incomplete and the meal was inedible. This has to be be the worst takeaway ever... Apart from the rice..
