The best restaurants serving Asian food in York Yorkshire and The Humber

Lovely restaurant, excellent food and nice staff. Shame that some of the customers were like animals! Could do with some sound-proofing or louder indian music to reduce the noise from their drunk clientele. Great restaurant otherwise and very affordable, looking forward to the next visit! They do an amazing madras!

Always come back to wagamama, lovely staff here and great food that arrived quickly!

Quirky place to have a drink. Very old building with lots of original features and steep wooden stairs. Some seating upstairs is on beds! Great cocktails.

Prompt delivery. Very tasty food. Roll on next time.

Used to be a really good Sichuan restaurant and I used to come here all the time when I lived in York some years ago. However, not sure if there’s been a management change, but my visit tonight was largely disappointing. No longer authentic flavours - Jasmine tea had zero fragrance, food now tasted a lot more watered down, and not a chopstick in sight (strange for a Chinese resto!). 3 stars as it remains well priced and the Mapo tofu and egg fried rice are still good.

Me sorprendió ver que este lugar tenía tan malas críticas! Vinimos mientras ellos estaban cerrando (mi culpa, no miró los tiempos) y nosotros a punto de salir cuando la mujer que limpia el mostrador dijo que estaba bien, tomó mi pedido y lo hizo con mucho cuidado desde cero, incluso se disculpó por no darme la tapa sellada habitual (la máquina había sido apagada) alrededor de gran experiencia que sin duda volveré a visitar la próxima vez que visite York.
