Just tried 3 of the curries on offer, paneer, chicken and lamb. Really very tasty and filling. Served quickly, professional and friendly. Served with rice, salad, chutney and a superb Dahl. Pleasant seating area. Cannot rate this highly enough for basically £10 each.

Amazing food with an amazing customer service. Thingsay Thai usally come to Chivenor every Thursday and oh my, I always look forward to a Thursday now. Couldn't recommend the Egg fried rice alongside some spring rolls, which is usally my order. Great people with amazing food. Could never recommend this type of food enough.

Once again we had had a wonderful meal and experience in this lovely little restaurant. The takeaways are great but you have to experience the atmosphere of the restaurant. A warm welcome awaits and always end up talking to the other guests, comparing the meals. Milan, the owner really works hard to produce such lovely meals, and not forgetting the lovely front of house. I really recommend you try a meal and as the restaurant isn’t licensed don’t forget to get your booze in the Tesco Extra which is very close by which makes the meal much cheaper. Well done team, Graham and Sandy xx

I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed with a dining experience. This restaurant is absolutely tiny on the left side, and on arrival we were shoved up almost sitting with a table of two. They could hear everything we were saying and vice versa. Super uncomfortable. This place was full of locals who appeared to know the owner and staff. The waiters were rude, leaning over people to put stuff on the table. On two occasions staff touched my son on the shoulder which oversteps the mark in personal space. The food itself was super bland and tasteless. We left a lot of it. The only good things were the peshwari naan and the cobra, everything else was awful. There was a random black thing in my son’s chips. I could’ve chosen a million better places to eat and I would not recommend this place to anyone with tastebuds. If you want bland frozen samosas, tomato soup flavoured base camp curry, vile chicken tuk tuk and absolutely tasteless shashlik, this is the place for you.

I rarely eat Indian food out as I can make it myself, considering its my native cuisine but this restaurant is exquisite! Flavours are to perfection! The staff are incredible, one gentleman in particular really made our night because of his incredible service! I’ll be back and telling everyone to try it out!

Paid a second visit to this lovely little cafe in Joy St Barnstaple last week with a friend. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent - freshly cooked so a little wait but worth it and very reasonably priced for the potion size. On both occasions the cafe was almost full so speaks for itself and I would highly recommend
