Paid a second visit to this lovely little cafe in Joy St Barnstaple last week with a friend. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent - freshly cooked so a little wait but worth it and very reasonably priced for the potion size. On both occasions the cafe was almost full so speaks for itself and I would highly recommend

Ordered the bubble smoothie (i have had bubble tea before and the bubbles usually burst with a nice juice inside) these bubbles were just tastless balls of chewiness in a strawberry milkshake not smoothie like it states and for £5.50 is daylight robbery. I also had a panini and I have no words. The deli “chicken” was wafer thin cheap stuff, and still got charged £7.50 even though I didnt have the drink and crisps. So overpriced for something I couldve made better at home. Will never be returning and will definitely not be recommending.

Pardon for my spin on words (Leonard Bernstein would have laughed). The staff were all friendly. Decor is alright. I had the hot dog with chilli con carne on it which was okay too

Staff were helpful, food was fresh hot and local produce, restaurant was clean and bright, we really enjoyed our visit. They even gave my daughter a lollypop for eating all her breakfast. Which was a really lovely touch. Also great value for money.

Excellent little cafe, food is very tasty and hot and the staff are very friendly but not overpowering. We'll definitely be visiting again whilst on our holidays. 👍

Unfortunately (as we were trying to support a new local business!) it lived up to its name. On arrival we really felt that a Mr Grumpy was actually serving. Such a shame as we won't be going back or recommending to anyone.

I always order my Indian/Nepalese takeaway food here and usually the best in the whole of the Sourh West! Not your usual Bangladeshi food disguised as Indian dishes. I am a foodie frequent Brilliiance in Southall, London and I know Indian/Nepalese food very well indeed. The food is nearly always exceptional here but every now and an again it goes abit off the rails. It’s a shame really this restaurant is one of the best I have ever been to and an absolute brilliant place and our door step. The sheek kebabs are like the ones you get in India and Nepal and street food hand made ones. Except we got frozen ones this time you could tell dry freezer burn as fresh are always moist. It’s a shame it slips sometime and we always love fresh chillies over hot red chilli powder, next time I won’t order over the phone but go on with chillies in my pocket so we can have fresh chillies. But still it’s better than any other Indian/Nepalese Restaurant in the whole of the South West of England, what a find here in Barnstaple, North Devon. Chilli Paneer will blow you mind spongy paneer how it’s meant to be cooked, absolutely brilliant dish reminds my wife proper Indian food like mother used to cook. Still the best place to go on the South West of England by far we have tried everywhere and Everest Ghutka is ok our doorstep what a blessing to have.

Great place on the beach, only had a hot drink but great after a long walk, apparently the curry's are fantastic but unfortunately we've missed out as it's its last day of opening. After wait till next year
